I Became the Progenitor Vampire

Upon hearing the system prompt, Lide's expression froze.


In his mind, an extremely vague memory surfaced: more than a century ago, the Blood Clan Ancestor had established a rule that no member of the Bloodline could exceed his level.


And it was after that event that the Talent Specialization known as the bloodline shackle was activated.


But since so much time had passed, Lide did not know the exact reason why the Blood Clan Ancestor had issued this command imprinted in their bloodlines.


Perhaps the Blood Clan Ancestor was too weak at the time and feared a rebellion; limiting the power of the Bloodline was the best choice. There might have been other reasons, but they were no longer important.


For Lide, the power of the bloodline shackles was a severe impediment to the development of the Bloodline, and it had to be broken.
