Signing a soul contract? Glory Light was taken aback.
At present, not everyone was qualified to sign a soul contract with Lide Kachar at the Crimson Mage Tower.
The apprentices who worked in the magic factory all signed contracts with Vina or Carlo, the first factory manager of the magic factory. Lide Kachar no longer signed contracts personally; his little maid was more than capable of handling these matters.
Moreover, not every apprentice could sign one, only those truly qualified to enter the magic factory were allowed to sign soul contracts.
Once a contract was signed, it meant one wholly belonged to the Crimson Mage Tower, which would spare no effort to cultivate them.
If a soul contract was not signed, it was simple; one could only engage in peripheral work forever, take care of logistics, or like Glory Light, deal with demon beast furs. The treatment received was far inferior to that of contract signers, basically belonging to the lowest rank.
