Lide took a deep look at Frey, surmising that something inside had rattled him; otherwise, this typically aloof second-generation Bloodline wouldn't be so agitated.


This mission, he had only allowed Frey to lead the way, leaving Castro, Withered Bone, and Cap to guard the entrance of the underground passageway.


Here, his presence along with Frey's was sufficient; he was here to verify information, not to hunt Cave Spiders.
