Chapter 08 : What's wrong with Min Ae-ri?

[What is the first class today— Crap I totally forgot to check!]

[Yesterday.. I met Daeshim oppa... *blush * ]

I was just thinking about all these things while walking to my class, when I heard a loud voice..

Someone was calling me---

" JINNN-AEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

[Who the f----]

I was startled, I look around to see who it was.

When I looked around, I saw Min Ae-ri dashing towards me. She ran to me and grabbed me like it was the last thing she could ever do before dying.

Gasp* - [That was Min Ae-ri's voice! That sounded like a man! Why the timid Min Ae-ri is like this today!! ]

"whathappenedyesterdaydidyoumeethim?"

- "What?"

I didn't understand a word she was saying. I looked around and saw other students were looking at us.

I noticed Young-jae was standing with pepero(cookie stick) in his hand, mouth opened, shocked, staring at Min Ae-ri – Poor guy must be shocked watching his crush behaving rather unusually.

Well, it's Min Ae-ri we are talking about. A shy girl, whom we never heard raising her voice, was shouting in a loud manly voice.

- "WOAH WOAH~ calm down..What happened?"

" *pant * *pant * H-how did it go yesterday? Did you meet him? I mean Kim Daeshim?"

[Ahh she was talking about that- But why are you so out of character because of that!]

I was confused with her behavior, but anyhow I think it was an interesting thing after all. She was really excited, it was obvious!

I looked at her, "Yeah.. I met him. He was also coming to met me. I met him on the way."

Min Ae-ri's eyes sparkled even more. "Really!!! Tell me about it."

"Hey guys.What are you guys talking~" - Gyeong and Ye-jun appeared right in the heat moment.

I looked at them, I unconsciously blurt, "I met my someone yesterday--"

*ringggg * - Ye-jun got a call from Jung Ryung.

[Why am I always interrupted in the middle of answering something]

Gyeong ignored the call and asked me, "You met someone? Who?"

"Talk later. Ye-jun is in the class already. He is annoying me. Come on let's go, he said he's getting bored without us" – Ye-jun said it in a really irritated voice.

We went to the class and saw Jung Ryung was sitting on the bench waiting for us.

*Bam *

- "OUCH! Wtf Ye-jun why did you hit me?!"

- "Don't yell so loudly on the phone. You always do this. You will defect my ear drums, idiot."

And .... Ye-jun and Jung Ryung started arguing. Me, Gyeong and Min Ae-ri sat down.

- "Jin-ae what were you saying earlier? You met someone---"

I looked at Min Ae-ri.

Both of us went there together, so I didn't wanna mention about the "Blind group date" thing without her consent.

- "It's okay tell them...."

I looked back to Gyeong and sighed, "Actually.. Me, Min Ae-ri and one of her friend went to a set up party yesterday."

Hearing this Ye-jun and Jung Ryung stopped fighting and the three of them started concentrating on only me and Min Ae-ri.

"Hum~ So that's what you were studying yesterday." - Ye-jun said with hands over his mouth.

Gyeong was making a face like she was betrayed really badly, "You guys went on something like that and you didn't tell us?"

I was feeling really bad about it, "We're sorry."

- "I thought we are friends."

That was it for me and Min Ae-ri. We were feeling like we did something unforgivable. Min Ae-ri couldn't hold it anymore. She seriously started crying,

"We didn't mean it like this..We j-just -----"

Ye-jun cut between Min Ae-ri, "Stop it Gyeong. They are getting serious."

Min Ae-ri and me looked at Gyeong and she started laughing,

"Pfft... I'm sorry, you guys were talking with such guilty face. I couldn't help it."

I felt like a burden came off my heart. I really don't to hurt Gyeong in any way. Not even a bit. She was my first friend here.

Gyeong continued, "Like come on! We are not high schoolers. We have our own privacy. I'm not so immature. You should know it by now."

- "Thank God you're not angry." (Min Ae-ri)

Gyeong patted her head.

Yes.. We're not kids. I'm really glad I got to know these guys. They understand others point. Even after becoming an adult, this is not something everyone follows.

But----

"Well, we didn't tell you because we thought Jung Ryung will tease us. And... Look at him. We are not wrong.."- I pointed at Jung Ryung.

He was dying laughing, like he was watching Mr Bean.

Min Ae-ri was embarrassed to the core, "Stop it~ What's so funny. I knew it! You would be like this!"

"I..I am not laughing because of the set up thing. Pfft.. I'm laughing because it's too much like a movie. Two childhood sweethearts meeting after a long time, in a completely abstract situation pfft.... What's up Jin-ae? Hahahahahaha."

After that they all kinda made fun of me. And I kept trying to explain, it's nothing like that.

"Anyway what you guys talked about?"- Gyeong asked me and they all looked at me. Min Ae-ri was specially interested.

-"Nothing special.. What people normally talk about meeting after so many years? Family, life, how we are doing. That's all."

Jung Ryung put his hand around me and said, "Don't be shy.. Tell us everything. Didn't you guys started into each others eyes and said 'I missed you' pfft.."

I looked at him and suddenly remembered the time me and Daeshim oppa kinda stared(?) at each other.

*blush * - I shoved him away and shouted, "SHUT UP! Nothing like that happened!"

Jung Ryung continued laughing.

"That's boring"- Ye-jun said it and sat beside Gyeong and Gyeong started to assemble her books.

But Min Ae-ri didn't stop.

"He didn't say anything else?"-she looked at me with wishful eyes.

I hesitated, "Not really."

To be honest he did say all those motivation things after I said I don't want to study physics. But that was something I want to keep between us. So I didn't mention it.

-"He gave me his number and told me to call him anytime I need any help."

"Wow, he seems like a considerate guy."-saying this Min Ae-ri blushed.

Gyeong noticed Min Ae-ri's gestures, "What's up Min Ae-ri? You are overly interested in this. Hum?"

[She is acting weird since the morning. It's so out of her character.]

Gyeong then said, "Are you interested in this Daeshim guy?"

I instantly looked at Min Ae-ri. She was shocked.

And she was blushing------

[I see.. So Min Ae-ri liked Daeshim from yesterday]
