Enchanting Love

June sighed and said, "The whole house is carpeted, I won't fall so don't worry".

When Liam was about to say something, June stopped him and asked, "Who are all these people and what is going on here?"

"You can choose anything from here, as it is not so good for you to go shopping, I asked someone get them here".

June sighed and said, "You didn't have to do this", before picking up a blue cold shoulder knee length dress.

Liam nodded his head and said, "Ok", then he turned towards the helpers and asked them to take other things upstairs.

June frowned and asked, "Did you buy everything?"

Liam nodded his head and said, "Yes, anyhow some are maternity clothes and they will be useful in future".

June nodded her head and said, "Fine then I'll go get ready".

June was about to turn when Liam picked her up and said, "You are not allowed to climb stairs".

By 9 everyone were ready and left to the marriage register office.

When Liam reached along with June and grandma Davis, grandma Taylor was pulling Chris's ears.

Grandma Davis chuckled and approached them, "What are you doing Sophia?"

"You see Isabella, this brat is not even giving my grand daughter in-law a proper wedding", grandma Davis snapped.

Edith sighed and said, "But grandma, I was the one who told that wedding is not necessary".

Grandma Taylor cupped her face and told, "You do not have to take his side child, I know he is the one who would have convinced you for this".

Just then Liam and June approached them, hugging her best friend June beamed in excitement, "I'm so happy for you both".

Even Liam congratulated the new couple and said, "Welcome to the wife slave world, where we are only allowed to listen to our wives and nobody else".

June hooked her arms around Liam's and said, "Because we wives are always correct unless like you guys".

Edith chuckled at and said, "Exactly, and without us they are doomed".

Chris wrapped his hands around Edith's shoulder and said, "Obviously honey, without you I'm f**king doomed", Chris said before kissing her lips.

June scoffed and said, "You people, first get married and then do whatever you want... ahh they are kissing in front of my baby".

Chris and Edith chuckled and went inside. After about 30 minutes they both came out with two red certificates in their hands.

As soon as they came out all the elders rushed towards them and said, "Congratulations!!"

Grandma Davis and Grandma Taylor hugged each other and beamed, "I'm so happy Sophia, we both finally have grand daughter in-laws and also are becoming great-grandmothers".

Father Taylor approached the new couple, he then cupped Edith's cheek and said, "I'm gonna miss you honey, and I love you. Whenever this guy troubles you, come to me, the doors are always open."

Edith nodded her head with tears in her eyes.

He then tuned towards Chris and said, "Take care of my daughter, she is very precious to me. If you break her heart, I'll break your bones".

Chris gulped in nervousness and said, "Don't worry sir, she is very precious to me".

Father Taylor hugged Chris and said, "Call me father son".

Chris smiled and nodded his head, "Father".

Grandma Taylor placed her hands on his shoulders and said, "Don't worry Roger, she is my daughter and I'll take care of her".

When Edith didn't stop sobbing, Chris wrapped his arms around her shoulder and said, "Don't be upset, we can always spend the weekends at Frank mansion".
