91 Alive and sound

When both Liam and Chris opened the soup container June widened her eyes in shock and said, "No, not again, please I'm seriously tired of having this soup".

Edith looked at Chris and asked, "Am I drinking the same soup even today?"

June turned towards her and asked, "From how many days are you drinking it?"

"From two days, your grandma sent these vegetables. Grandma told they were healthy", Edith answered.

June then cupped her face and said, "Dear Ed, good luck, because grandma told we have to drink this soup for the whole nine months and also some other natural tonics too".

When Edith gulped in nervousness, June turned towards Liam and asked, "Can't we skip the soup today and something like samgyeopsal(barbecue beef), I'm really craving for them".

Liam nodded his head and said, "Okay then, you can skip the soup but only after I ask permission from both the grandmas", Liam said before taking out his phone.

June and Edith widened their eyes in shock and shouted in unison, "No stop. We'll drink it".

Looking at both the woman who were frowning and drinking the soup, Liam and Chris chuckled.

After Lunch all the four were happily talking when two people dressed in black arrived. When June looked at Liam, he shrugged and said, "What? When I'm not here, I have to make sure that you are alright. So, these people will be guarding you along with Edith and will also be giving updates about you both pregnant ladies", he declared without leaving any room for negotiations.

When Liam and Chris left, Edith placed her hands on June's shoulder and said, "It's okay, we have overprotective husbands and we have to bare with it".

June sighed and nodded her head.

Liam was checking some documents in his office when Carl suddenly entered with an envelope in his hand.

When Liam looked up at him, he took a breath and told, "Boss, here is something I found about Mrs. Hembron".

Liam frowned and asked, "What are you saying? Do you mean June's mom?"

When Carl nodded his head, Liam questioned further, "What is it"?

Handing him the envelope, "Sir actually, this something even I was stunned, but later on confirmed and it is true. I contacted from some of old connections and they helped me in this".

"Madam's mom, Mrs. Hembron is alive!!", Carl said.

Liam jolted up from his seat and snapped, "What are you saying Carl?"

Carl sighed and said, "Even I was startled at first boss. But, she is very much alive and sound. Also, she has a daughter, who is now around nineteen years of age. They are leaving in country M and she is also attending college".

Liam frowned and asked, "When she is alive, why is everyone telling that she is dead. And grandma also told me about the funeral they had for her mother".

He then got up and said, "Get the car ready and your madam should not know about this", before walking out.

As soon as he reached, Liam went to Chris' office. Chris was reading a book when Liam arrived. Startled by his sudden appearance, when he had left only few hours ago, he asked, "What are you doing here, you should be down picking up June right?"

When he saw a very tensed expression on Liam's face Chris asked, "What happened Liam? Is everything okay?"

Without saying anything, Liam handed the envelope and sat on the couch. When Chris saw what was inside that envelope, he was stunned, "What he fu*k".
