CHAPTER 69

OPHELIA'S POV

I desperately tried to find Michelle in this crowd. The expensive scent of perfumes I wouldn't spend a dime on was suffocating me. Drunk people around my age or slightly older kept bumping into me. I started to remember why I hated places like this. 

There were a lot many bodies here, but souls?

Souls were too less.

I looked at a boy, around my age, with a beer in his hand. He sat there wearing a pretty expensive suit. Rolling down his face were tears that he tried to hide. You wouldn't really see him crying unless you looked intently and you were sober. 

This mansion was filled with people that put up masks so no one could see what was inside.

"Oh hey, Lia! Where did you run off to?"
