CHAPTER 168 - THE END

OPHELIA'S POV

I stayed silent.

These were the words.

This was the voice.

This was the exact sincerity that made me fall for him all over again that night in Luco's mansion.

I wasn't sure if I could trust him again just for him to get scared and back away.

When I first woke up, I kept looking around.

Searching for someone.

My head felt fuzzy and I could pin down who or what it was I was searching for.

But what I knew was that I felt empty.

I needed someone.

And in a few minutes I realized, I needed him.

My eyes went directly toward my wrist and I almost cried out when I saw that the number had gone.

There was no number on my wrist.

It was only when I saw Xavier walk into my room that my heart calmed down.
