Chapter 5
Elena's pov:
Its the start of yet another day i wonder if it'll be any different than yesterday... Will i know who protected me yesterday.. Guess it must have been a coincidence that he saw me there and he saved me as i was in his way
When i was in my usual bus stop i saw a 5 year old kid crying she seemed to be lost i went to her smiling
"Hey, sweetie whats wrong? Are you lost? Where is your mom?
She saw me and calmed down a bit and said" am lost" i tried calming her down i said how about i buy you an ice cream till your mom comes back 😊 the brightness of the kids smile made my heart melt for the first time in my life some thing felt worth doing i bought her an ice cream it seemed her name was coco she was adorable as she gave me a peck on my cheek a woman came screaming "coco" coco"!
Coco ran and hugged the women and screamed "mommaaaa"
The women too hugged her tight and said "am sorry for leaving you alone"
Then coco smiled and wiped her mom's tears and said "its ok mommaa this good sister waited with me and even got me an ice cream"
Coco's mom turned her gaze towards me with eyes full of tears " thank you so much for keeping my child company"
I smiled at her and said "no biggie miss" 😊
Then i waved coco and her mom goodbye and turned to go my way
Now....HOLY SHIT
I MISSED THE DAMN BUS!!!!!!
how am i supposed to get to school on time now there's only 10 mins left for the gates to be closed
Right then i saw a black ferrari stop in front of my eyes as i was admiring the car's beauty the window shifted down
A voice deep yet sexy said "get in"
For some reason i didn't think for a second and hopped in....
to my surprise it was....
ALEX MAPELI!
i couldnt utter a word so i kept quiet
Then i heard him speak
"i see you are holding on tight to the handkerchief i gave you..."
Astonished i looked at him
"umm.. U were the one who saved me yesterday?
He replied
" i guess so yeah"
Why were you standing out in the cold anyway?
I stuttered
I... I m.. Missed the bus
He just smiled and stared at the scenario ahead of him
I thought to myself
" whyy is the school's most popular boy helping meee? Is it part of his hidden plan in someway? Wont he feel embarrassed if someone sees me with me when we enter the school gate?
As a million thoughts crossed my mind we entered the school gate
As usual the girls gathered near the parking lot nobody was able to see me at first as the windows were tinted
He walked out and to my surprise like a gentleman he came to my side and opened the door for me and helped me out..
I could see the disgust in everyone's eyes
I heard one of them say
Eww, alexy whatchhu doing with this rag? Did u pick her from the trash near our school? And with that everyone started laughing
As i was about to walk to walk away alex pulled me back and held my hand tightly and said " She is no trash she has a name and its elena everson dont you dare say another word about her if you dont wish for anything to happen to you"
The guy who called me trash started shivering and asked "why does she have your back, did she sell herself"
Alex smacked the guy hard on the face and with that the guy fell on the ground with a thud!!
Then alex announced loudly
TO EACH AND EVERY HUMAN BEING IN THIS SCHOOL YOU ARE NO WHERE ALLOWED NEAR ELENA EVERSON! SHE IS MY GIRL AND ANYONE WHO DARES TO TOUCH MY GIRL WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!!
with that alex held me tightly and took me with him inside the school
There was an ussher of silence in the whole school fear in the eyes of the bitches alongside the whole school
Iam shocked am damn shocked why is this guy suddenly calling me his girl and.. And i had a million thoughts bloating around in my mind but i just kept walking towards my saviour
Suddenly he stopped and i bumped into him
He said
Your mine! You belong to me and anyone who lays a hand on you is dead!
