The World's End

My name is Alex, and am the last hope for humanity. But before telling you why you should know what happend that made me the last hope of the human race. It all started one normal day of highschool. I was about to head home on my bicycle when I was stopped by my best friend and neighbor Riley.

-Hey Alex! Can I go home with ya today? I dont want to go alone again its quite late - She said while she took of the chains of her bicycle.

-Sure..But we better hurry I have to go to work after I finish things back at home-I replied while I started to move foward

-Wait for me!- She said almost falling of her bicycle behind me.

I looked back just in time to see it . To see how a giant , pitch black coming toward us . I must of looked shocked cause Riley looked at me confused then looked back to see the cloud then we both saw how it swallowed the school and everyone inside started to scream , we even saw someone jump out of the window in the third floor head first...bashing it open. We both were so scared we had the same reaction we both looked away and started go paddle as fast as we could. It was a downhill so we went pretty fast but the cloud was catching up behind us .

-I don't wanna die , I don't wanna die -I kept repeating to myself...I was getting tired.

Riley caught up with me , she was crying. She herself was getting tired to . There was nowhere to go.. Nowhere to hide...or was there? I had an Idea . A cloud can't get inside something that's closed tightly now can it? My family's bunker was closed completely in case of an emergency like this one but it would take sometime to open the door so we needed to get far away from the cloud before it hit my house. I told Riley she nodded then with all her might paddled as fast as she could I did the same. We made some space with the cloud . I don't know if it was a magical force or just us being scared but we managed to dodge the scared people running wild around with ease.. We were close so I signaled Riley to go ahead I had to get my family in the bunker she understood. She had a stepfather one that was pure evil and no siblings so she had no need to go to her house . We got to my house and jumped out our bicycles leaving them in the front porch . I told Riley where the bunker was and what to do to open the door she rushed behind my house. . . The cloud was close. I open my front door as fast as I could rushed upstairs to my twin sister room she was there seeing on the news what was happening

- Go To the bunker now! Take what you need we have like 2 minutes HURRY! -I said going to my brothers room they had heard me from their bedroom and were getting packed to go to the bunker.

-MOM! MOM? mo- I stopped in my tracks when I opened the door to her room . My mom was by the window black liquid was coming out her eyes , mouth and ears and her veins all over her body were noticeable black. I knew that whatever that cloud was I had already affected her...So I shed a tear and closed the door and locked it.

-sorry mom... - I ran back down my brothers and sister where already staked and were taking some stuff from the kitchen I looked at the front door, witch was open. I could see the cloud coming at rapid speed .Faster than before.

-MOVE IT!GO HURRY THE FUCK UP! THE CLOUD IS HERE TO THE BUNKER NOW!-I ran towards the back door and they all followed.

We made it to the bunker the door was stuck and wasn't opening , so we all started to rotate the door handlebar .

-FUKING OPEN!- I said while I banged on the door..

Seconds later it opened, we all ran inside to the disinfecting chamber and I started to close the door it was heavy so I was closing it slowly...Riley came back and helped me close it , I saw how my house got slowed by the cloud and came towards me. . . In that moment I could see faces all over the cloud as It came closer a bit of the cloud hit my face before closing the door completely , I had accidentally inhaled it and for a second I felt some kind of rush in my body . I fell back.

-You okey Alex?- Riley said wiping of the sweat of her face , and falling to the floor

-. . Y-yeah .. but what the hell was that?- I said knowing that even though I wanted an answer I would not get it until later on....-We need to go inside we don't know if that cloud could penetrate this door..-I said standing up and giving a hand to Riley.

We both went inside the disinfecting chamber , my brothers were crying inside while my sister comforted them

-Its okey , we are okey- She said while she hugged them.

She was always a kind, intelligent and relaxed person . Even in the worst situations she would still by calm . Even knowing the world probably just ended she continued to be calm . She was my twin big sister Brianna.

-W-were is m-mom?- Said one of my little brothers
