The Mission

Luke POV

Kaden: why are you here?

Luke: well you see....

I had to stop and think for a moment, these people just showed up out of no where, and two of them are wearing formal wear. They look trustworthy, but still you can never be too careful.

Kaden: Well?!

Luke: I came out here looking for fire wood for my house.

Kaden: does that mean that there's a village near here?!

my village is in a secret location because we are outlaws trying to run away from the military. To be quiet honest one of them looks ike they belong in the military, and the other two don't look like normal people either...

Luke: yeah there is, but I got lost so I don't know where it is>>>

Kaden POV

This Luke guy seems to be hiding somethinmg. Most people who live this far out knows the surrounding area even with their eyes closed. Not to mention that the only villages that are against monarchy would be located secretly. I look over at Zoey and Joseph, and I realized that Zoey fell back asleep.

Kaden: I know that we don't look the most trusting, but it would be a great help if you could take us to your village. I can help you find it.

Luke: ok but you need to promise one thing.

Kaden: and what is that?

Luke: you CAN'T tell anyone where it is, or that you have been there.

I could tell that he was being serious. I hesitated for a moment wondering if it was a good idea or not but after looking how exhausted the siblings looked I decided to agree. Luke helped Joseph while I took Zoey to the secret village. When we got there people stared at the 4 of us with hostile looks plastered across their faces. Luke walked us into a tiny cabin, and placed Joseph onto tyhe bed. I followed and placed Zoey on the same one. After placing her on the bed Luke, and I sat at the table talking about everything that was going on.

Luke POV

After a long explanation of why they were in the woods by themselves, I began to regret bringing them to the village. I someone who is against royalty brought the crown prince, and his sister to the village that is against them to help seek refuge. It doesn't make sense, but for some reason I can't seem to hate them even though I just met them. But i want to know what their goal is.

Luke: so once the two of them recover their strength what do you plan to do???

Kaden: I'm going to take them around the different kingdoms finding allies, and gaining strength for our mission.

Luke: mission???

Kaden: to take back the throne. At the moment everyone probably believes that every member in the royal family is dead, and I have a feeling that fire was no accident. Not to mention that I promised their parents that I will help them survive any hardships that comes their way.

Luke: so you will be going to the other 6 kingdoms to find allies?

Kaden: well I know we won't be able to get through this alone.

Luke: well consider me your first companion!

Kaden: really! are you sure about this???

Luke: never been more sure in my life.
