Chapter 11- Baby's day out

On the way to the amusement park, Rizi's phone rang.

She looked at the caller ID and smiled.

"Hey J. How are you?"

"Zi am good. How are ya? How's Leo? Everything ok there?" Jason asked from the other side.

"Yes! yes! We are good. Am taking Leo to The Amusement Park. It's been a while he went out to play. So Sara and I planned to take him to the park. It will be a good change for him." explained Rizi looking at her son from the rearview mirror.

"Yes, that's right. Where's the little Devil?" asked Jason.

"Let me put it on the speaker." Rizi turned towards Leo. "Hey baby, Uncle J wants to talk to you."

Leo's eyes sparkled with happiness. "Hello Uncle J. Why are you not coming with us?"

Jason chuckled. "Am sorry Leo. I am still stuck here. I will return on Friday and I promise we will go out again. I also got you a gift. Hope you will forgive me after that?"

Leo thought for a while and chirped "Yea. Depends on the gift. Impress me." Leo grinned.

Jason laughed "You devil little brat.! Let me come there and I will teach you a lesson.Ok, now am hanging up. You go and have fun. Will see you on Friday."

Rizi chuckled and hung up the call.

Jason has been an amazing support for her and Leo. He is the closest father figure in Leo's life.

She parked her car and helped Leo unlock his booster straps.

Standing at the gate of the amusement park.

Rizi looked around for Sara.

Sara spotted Rizi and Leo first. She ran towards them and pick up Leo in a single swoop. She placed quick kisses on Leo's cheeks.

"Hey, handsome. How are you? Did you miss me?" Leo blushed and hugged her back.

All three walked towards the gate.

Entering the gate, Leo exclaimed. "Wow, Mama. Look so many rides!"

Rizi lovingly looked at her smiling son. "Baby, you want to walk, or shall mama carry you?"

Leo adjusted his cap and started walking "I want to walk."

Rizi held one of Leo's hands tightly and Sara held another.

"Come on! Let's go and have some fun."

All three cute figures went towards the ticket counter.

Rizi bought tickets for a preschooler-friendly rides. Leo cannot try extreme rides, but can play light games and slow rides.

They played different games and went to Thomas the tank engine ride, Whirling whale and Alice Teacup ride. Leo enjoyed and giggled with excitement in every ride.

After a while, Rizi carried Leo in the baby carrier.

She held him close and discussed with Sara what else they can visit next. They strolled around the amusement park checking out other options.

Leo's hands were wrapped around Rizi's neck like a koala bear. His face rested on her shoulders. He saw a stall that sells cotton candy.

He pointed a finger in that direction

"Mama! I want to eat that?"

Rizi took him to the stall.

"Can I have two small ones please?" Rizi asked the seller.

She paid and handed one cotton candy to Leo and another one to Sara.

Sara took a bite and chuckled "Wow am I being spoiled by mama bear."

Rizi laughed. "Let's finish this and then visit the Magical Kingdom."

Leo excitedly finished Cotton candy and smeared it on his face as well.

Rizi wiped his face with tissues and gave him water.

While drinking water, Leo saw a family of three happily giggling and roaming around. The father carried his 4 years baby girl on his shoulders. Holding her tightly to keep her balanced with one hand and with the other he held her mother's arm.

Leo's green eyes became moist. Rizi observed changes in his expression. She turned to the direction where Leo was keenly staring.

Her heart ached.

Although Leo never asked her any questions related to his father, she knew that he was bothered.

Leo was more intelligent and mature for kid of his age.

Sara observed the situation and to lighten the mood, she carried Leo and placed him on her shoulder.

"Hey, Leo.. See how strong I am!" Leo laughed with excitement. He wrapped his hand around Sara's neck.

Aunt Sara.. don't drop me!" giggled Leo.

Sara rolled her eyes. "Oh c'mon. I am very strong. I can carry two kids like you."

Instantly Leo was distracted.

Rizi thankfully nodded at Sara.

The mother - son duo, along with Sara walked towards the Magical Kingdom.

They visited different characters and individual hall based on different themes like snow-white, Mickey& Mini, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Arthur The King. There were additional section related to Winnie the Pooh and Jumbo the elephant. They strolled around and captured lots of pictures together.

They went to the food area for lunch. Sara bought some fries and burgers with coke.

Leo ate to his heart's content. He also ordered deep-fried Oreos and Olaf candy apples.

Rizi and Sara smiled amusingly on how Leo makes the most out of his cheat day.

Later they visited the Dino Park and Toontown as well.

Three had the fun-filled day.

In the evening Riz bid goodbye to Sara.

She hopped in her car with Leo and drove towards the home.

By the time they reached home, it was already 6:30 in the evening and Leo was already asleep.

Hearing Car's engine, Aunt Maria quickly came out of the house.

Rizi carried sleeping Leo in her arms.

Aunt Maria opened the trunk and carried out all the stuff.

She laughed seeing lots of soft toys and balloons.

"Seems like you both went frenzy shopping."

Rizi laughed. "You know him. He gets excited about his favorite toys."

Aunt Maria carried all the stuff to the living room and place it on the table. She turned toward Rizi and ask gently. "Dinner is ready. You can put him asleep and come back to eat?"

"Thank you, Aunt Maria. You can cover and place it on the dining table. I will reheat later on. You should also eat and rest early." answered Rizi.

Aunt Maria became a family to Rizi. She is an old lady in her fifties with no family. When Rizi came to the city with Jason, Aunt Maria helped her like a mother during her final pregnancy months.

She took care of Leo like he was her grandchild. Rizi was very grateful to her.

Aunt Maria's step-children had abandoned her and left her alone to fend for herself without any support. Jason found her outside a restaurant and brought her to the Villa.

He hired her as a housekeeper.

With Aunt Maria's help, Rizi was able to balance her work and take care of Leo as well.

Rizi went straight to her room and placed Leo on the bed.

She quickly changed his clothes and wiped him clean. She covered him with a blanket and tucked him in.

She adjusted room temperature and placed pillows on both edges of the bed to secure Leo from falling from the bed.

She placed a kiss on his forehead and caressed his beautiful tired face.

Leo was exhausted hopping like an excited little bunny in the amusement park.

Her heart felt contented, seeing the happy and relaxed look on her son's face.

She observed him for a couple of minutes and went for a shower.

After shower, she took baby monitor and went towards the kitchen. She quickly finished her dinner and went to the study.
