CHAPTER ONE; SISTERS

"You can't just sack me like that" she screamed.

"What will you do if I do" Mr Belani asked with a furious look.

"It is unfair. It is against the employer and employee law. I've done nothing wrong for you to fire me like that. I've been faithful tthis company. I never stole neither did I cause any trouble. You won't just rip me off my job like that, it is unethical" She lamented shouting at her boss.

Melissa didn't know where she would begin from if she loose this job. This job has been the one sustaining her through the years. If she loose it she will become penniless.

Belani gave a wicked and angry kind of laughter.

"I don't know what an illiterate like you know about laws and ethics. The only law and ethic that exist here is the one I created and it include that I can fire anyone I like at any fucking time!!

Although he started his words with a mocking voice, by the time he was through he bellowed in anger that even Melissa shook.

Poor Melissa was determined to keep her job so she continued pleading.

" Please don't do this to me. I've always been good to you. If I lose this job my siblings and I will go hungry. I'm begging you" she pleaded in tears.

He gave her a bald look to let her know that he wasn't moved by her tears.

"I don't in anyway get you young lady. Am I running a charitable organization? I said I don't need your services anymore. Haven't I made myself clear enough?" He said harshly.

Melissa's shoulder slimmed. She knew she had no choice but to accept her loss. She couldn't even bring herself to think about how they will starve till she gets another paying job. She just turned to leave but was called back by Belani.

"There is sure another way to sustain your job if you really want it" he said in the most crispy voice she ever heard.

Melissa didn't trust the man because she knew of His weird and how dubious the man is. She didn't reply neither was she excited at his words. She just lookd at him to continue.

Belani grinned a kind of grin that she found particularly ugly and scary. To Melissa the man is nothing but a demon that erupted from hell and nothing good can come out of such demon no matter how polished it looks.

"You know have been asking you for something for quite sometime now. Give it to me and I will give you your job" h e said as plain as ever

Melissa muttered something that even herself could barely hear. She knew that man has an evil agenda for sacking her all of a sudden. Did he think she was that desperate? She grinned back the kind of sad and typical angry kind.

"Well I'm thinking....." She paused so as not to let him guess what she was about to say. She want him to anticipate for it.

When she saw excitement crippling into his eyes she smiled and he equally smiles back.

"Sir, I'm thinking that..... to hell with you and your bullshit job!" She dropped the bomb on him as she yelled.

"What!" Belani jacked up. "How dare you!!!!"

Now he was indeed furious. All the while he was only rehearsing anger but now he went wild. He was shocked because he didn't expect the helpless girl to turn down his proposal talk more of insulting him.

Hey don't bark. I've done nothing wrong here. I was only sending you back to your fatherland because nobody except someone that erupt from hell will have the kind of devilish heart you have Mr Belani. So no need to be furious because I was only acknowledging your home town" she said in her calmest and coolest voice just to intimidate him with her innocent look and voice.

Indeed the words penetrated into Belani. Befoer he felt like strangling her but now he felt like to tied her up and flay(peal her flesh off her body alive) her. He was boiling seriously.

Melissa seem satisfied seeing his boiling anger even though she was sad for loosing the job. She burst into laughter at how he turned red because of her words.

"Out!!" he bellowed foaming with anger.

The fire and anger in his eyes could set a town on fire as hot has it was.

Melissa shook at his voice but she quickly adjusted because she was not ready to let him mock her present predicament.

"Hey Belani, no need to bark like a dying dog. I'm already getting myself of your rotten fat face" she said as she walked out not caring how his looks will be.

After some seconds she pop her head back in the office.

Belani wore a quizzical look but his looks turned to that of a wounded Lion trying to break free at the same time when Melissa called his name and stick out her tongue to mock him. He leaped from his table to go get her but she was fast enough to close the door at his fat face that it almost caught his long nose. Belani roared in anger that all the building shook at his voice.

Melissa got home exhausted, not from stress but from the tears she shed and the lot of thinking she endulged in. She didn't expect to meet her sisters at home but they were in their old living room bickering as usual. Although she was so devastated, she wouldn't want her sisters to know or see her pain. On seeing her Tyndall who was the youngest rushed to her and hugged her.

"Hey big Sis" she said with a frivolous smile.

Somaria who was two years younger than Melissa gave her a welcoming sweet smile.

Melissa really loved her younger ones. They are full of life and she can jump into the ocean full of whale just to make sure those smiles didn't disappear.

"Why are you home so early" Somaria questioned.

"Don't you want her home?" Tyndall tackled.

"Hey! Was I in anyway talking to you?" Somaria snapped.

"Can't you see she look tired or must you be told everything?" She asked intentionally offensive.

Tyndall is always bent on getting her sister angry. She do derive joy in making her talk. Somaria was just as quiet as Melissa but Tyndall who loves to talk needs a partner since she barely has friends due to some reasons, do pester her sister so she won't be bored.

Although Somaria knows her sisters aim, she never back out because she do enjoy it herself.

"I don't have your time" she hissed then turn to Melissa. "Hope you are fine?" She looked concerned.

"Yes of course. I'm good" Melissa brightened up.

The two girls exchanged look. Behind the sheaths of excitement they could vividly see her pain and how she's struggling to be fine.

Melissa saw their look and gave them a reassuring smile. "I'm really good girls" she said almost laughing.

The girls shrugs and smile.

"How was school today?"

"Didn't go" Tyndall replied casually.

"Why?"

Melissa gave her reprimanding look. She was ready to scold her.

"You do forget that I do have lecture free day on Thursdays" she reminded smiling mockingly.

"So sorry sweet. It do skip my mind" she patted her long shinny hair.

"Didn't go either and before you start scolding me, it wasn't my fault. Lecturer is down'" Somaria said quickly with her lips pressed.

"I don't get you" Melissa said

"Lecturer is sick" she smiled.

"Oh.. Hope it's not too serious?" She asked pitiful

"That I don't know but some students says is not that worse while some wish it was" she replied casually letting it show that she doesn't care about the lecturer.

Melissa gave a horrific look. "Why would they wish that?"

"That woman is a witch" Somaria and Tyndall chorused.

"You know her?" Melissa asked surprised.

"She takes a general course, English. She do feel like God anytime she teaches. She has the worst character I've ever seen. She's so arrogant and heartless" Tyndall narrated.

"Exactly" Somaria agreed

"But that doesn't mean they should wish her bad" Melissa said with a disapproving voice.

"That simply mean, days of peace for us all" Somaria said.

"Big sis, everyone in school is glad that she's sick" Tyndall said smiling.

Melissa shook her head and smile.

"Ok. Ladies, you will have to give me till next week, I should be able to balance up your fees by then" she said with a confident assuring look.

Somaria smiled. "It looks to me that you are trying to assure yourself than us"

Melissa knew her sisters could read her like AB open book and she's not happy has she love to hide situations like this from them.

"How do you intend to pay so fast?" Tyndall asked.

Melissa frowned. "I've got lot of jobs" she tried to be firm.

Tyndall picked up a piece of paper and began to fold it neatly. She was so concentrated as if it is a do or die thing.

"How do you intend to pay that quick when Mr Belani just fired you" she asked casually as if it's just a usual thing.

At first she was astonished about how fast they got to know of her loosing her job but not until she remembered who it could be.

"Victor!" She called smothering her anger. "That boy is ever a blabbermouth. A can't just keep quiet for once" she said almost murmuring

"Hey big sis! Don't get yourself worked up. The poor guy only told us because he felt you'd be so saf and he just wanted us to get a way to console you" she quickly defended.

"Did I give him the permission to talk behind my back?" She scowled.

"And aren't you planning to keep it from us so as to go work yourself to pulp?" Somaria tackled.

"I was going to tell but not now" she gritted.

"You'd be old by then" Tyndall said smiling.

Somaria moved closer and patted her hand before she took it into hers and squeeze it gently.

"We are of age now Melissa. We are above eighteen. Let us help out. You were not even a teen when dad died and you've been taking care of us since then. Please let's help out so that you can stop all these your numerous jobs and look after yourself. You look so underaged because you don't pay any attention to yourself. Accept our help even if it is a little" she said vehemently.

Tyndall sat beside her giving her a pleading look.

Melissa closed her eyes thinking about all the sufferings out there. She couldn't even imagine her sisters going through all that. It will surely be her death.

Tears slide down her cheek unknowingly. She has tried to be strong for the girls but it seems whenever she thinks about the past her strength fades away.

"You don't know what is out there sisters..." She said sniffing. "I can't let you face all that insult, pain and humiliation that I faced. It will be the death of me. I can't break my promise to father. I can't" Now she really wept.

The girls looked at her and their heart sanked. That never meant to add to the already earned pain of their sister. Tyndall was already dabbing her eyes while Somaria was trying to be strong for both of them even though it was hard.

"We are not ignorant about your promise to father but we love you. We want you too to be happy. Enough of this your numerous jobs. Please take a break. We are already in the institution and we are now also capable of helping out. Moreover you can't nurse us forever and now it's time for you to use the money you earn for yourself. You do need education too Melissa. Don't think we would allow you to say no to institution. You deserve a good job" Somaria persuaded with a calm voice that left the feeling hanging.

Melissa looked at her sisters as if she was pensive.

"You have to agree to this Big sis" Tyndall inserted softly.

Her voice came out weak and shaky but it passed the message powerfully.

"We won't let you win this time. You are brilliant and throughout high school you were the best even with your numerous jobs....."

Melissa cuts in

"I was on scholarship Tyndall. If I drop my per time jobs ,how will you two go through school without dropping out. I don't want that" she said rapidly.

Somaria smiled. "See, there are lot of things we can do to support. School isn't that cumbersome that we can't get a per time job and moreover they offer student loan in our school without interest. That alone will do"

Melissa's brow twisted. "I don't want you to get a job that will affect your studies" she said palely.

"That would never happen!" Tyndall exclaimed

"Ok I will reduce my per time job to three...."

"One" Tyndall interrupted

"I can't do one. How will we survive. I still have to pay..."

Somaria raised a hand that silenced her unknowingly. "Let's share the duty" she suggested.

"Duty for what?" Melissa grimaced.

"Melissa, let me finish talking before you interrupte please" she said waiting for her acknowledgement. Then she continued when Melissa nodded reluctantly.

"Tyndall and I can get a student loan which will be easier for us to pay and we will use our income to settle that while you use your money for food and other bills. By so doing you will be able to save up for yourself" Somaria explained.

As she talked Melissa shook her head continuously.

"I don't think I want to agree with that" She said cussedly.

"Big sis I don't think there's anything too hard in what she said" Tyndall protested.

"You two think it's easy to get a job that pays well enough for you to be able to cover that loan? Not that only. Those so called bosses do kick someone out of the job without a second thought. To get a job is not only the issue but to sustain it" she preached.

"Before we ever thought of putting this in front of you, we contemplated on it very well and we've made sure we are going to be fine" Somaria assured her.

Melissa shook her head stubbornly. "I can't just accept because you two said it will be fine"

The ladies sighed heavily. They know that the lady they are dealing with is as stubborn as the rock but they themselves has equal stubbornness to counter it.

"Big sis, don't !ake us into selfish clowns" Tyndall snapped.

Melissa frowned.

"I'm sorry" she apologized

"To put your mind at rest, we've gotten a good job that won't only pay our student loan as directed but also leave us with extra cash" Somaria boasted.

Melissa looked at them in disbelieve. She thought they were trying to cajole her into accepting.

"She's saying the truth" Tyndall asserted softly.

"So you went ahead to search for a job when u squarely forbbid you not to?"

She was almost bawling at them.

"You are barely in your early twenties, we couldn't allow you to work yourself into looking fiftuat age twenty. If you die won't we live? But we don't want your death Melissa, we love you too much than to loose you. Come to think of it, I'm twenty, Tyndall is eighteen and you are not so older. You also need your youthful life to explore too. Don't behave as if you are a hundred yrpears older"

By the time she was through speaking, she was screaming and tears was rushing to her very blue eyes.

The girls never talked back to her not to talk of screaming. With that she knew she lost the battle. She was dumbfounded that she didn't know what to do. She was in between the dilemma of anger and love. She never knew that her sisters cared so much about her wellbeing. She has was giving them everything so that they won't complain but they still took time to think of her too.

"I'm sorry" Somaria said when she saw the sad look on her sister.

Now Melissa's anger shifted to herself. She felt so selfish for not taking their advice. She felt like a tyrant by not allowing them to help. She felt like she kept them imprisoned.

Melissa pulled her sisters closer.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you care so much" she was sniffing trying to avoid the stubborn tears.

"You know we do love you than anything in the world" Tyndall said amdist tears.

They cried for sometime and after, they looked at eachoyher smiling.

Melissa cleared her throat. "So where's this job?" She asked smiling.

Tyndall bolted with excitement.

"You have to guess that" she jubilates.

She has been dying ti tell her sister about their new job and all that surrounds it. Somaria who knew her plan eyed her for her uncalled for excitement.

Melissa laughed. "You know I suck at guessing. Just tell me".

Tyndall shook her head. " It won't be interesting " she laughed.

"I don't see the reason for this unnecessary frivolity now. Job is job" she hissed.

"I think there's something interesting behind this job. Isn't it?" Melissa asked grinning herself.

Tyndall's happy behavior is always contagious. Once you've caught it, you've caught it with no remedy.

"Ofcoures. The job, the owner and the finder" she jumped.

Melissa gave Somaria a questioning look but she shrugs as if she didn't know what Tyndall is talking about.

"Ok, I loose and I will buy you Madame's cookie" she said when she couldn't guess.

"Wow! That's good" Tyndall licked her plump lips.

Somaria hissed at her exaggeration.

"We got a job at the Jyniss!" She shouted.

Melissa rolled her eyes in shock.

"That restaurant is one of the biggest in the state. How come you got a job there or are you two kidding me" she asked in disbelief.

Melissa's shock wasn't exaggerated because to get a job into that restaurant with having due connection or with series of interviews. They employ those they trust not just anybody.

"Well that begins the tale" Tyndall smiles.

"What tale?" Melissa asked.

"Of how we got the job".

Melissa shone her eyes with equal excitement with Tyndall. It was only Somaria that was trying to hide hers because she knew everything is surely coming back to her.

"I'm in" Melissa beamed.

"We got the job through Somaria's boyfriend" she announced happily.

"He's not my boyfriend" Somaria snapped.

Melissa poised, tilted her head to the right and smiled in mockery.

"He's not my boyfriend" she repeated. Fine, he asked me out for just a lunch and I said yes. How does that make him my boyfriend?" She explained eyeing Tyndall who was laughing.

"Alright we accept" Tyndall said amidst laughter.

Somaria gave her a stern look. "Don't get me irated" she warned and hissed.

"I said we've accepted. What else do you want?" She said blankly.

"You better mind your business" she scowled.

"Who is he to get you that job?" Melissa broke into their bicker knowing they can continue like that for hours.

"He is the owner's son" Tyndall replied.

"Are you kidding me?" Melissa exclaimed.

Tyndall shook her head smiling.

"You two didn't tell me you've got some connections here" she beamed with surprise.

"The guy helped us so he could ask her out" Tyndall said intentionally want to taunt her sister.

"Tyndall!" Somaria shouted.

"Why are you shouting isn't it the truth?" She asked.

Somaria shook her head as if she pity her sister.

"I don't even like the guy in question"

"What a baloney!" Tyndall blurted out.

"Aren't you the one that imposed everything on me? And now you are acting as if I voluntarily accepted his offer" she hissed.

"And babe, aren't you the one enjoying my imposing now? Why didn't you refuse it and just tell me you hate the guy" Tyndall said with a mocking look.

"Did he say he helped you because he want to ask you out? Melissa asked Somaria who was faoming.

"What else. Hr didn't have to say it" Tyndall replied quickly.

"You better shut that your wide mouth before I shut it for you" Somaria yowled.

"Hey young lady don't get worked up here. It's only the reality and you know that" her voice was laced with an elderly tune.

Somaria eyed her. "Melissa, don't mind that silly thing. You know she always love to magnify things".

She and Tyndall exchanged an intensified look, although Tyndall was smiling and at the veg of bursting into laughter.

"See" she continued. "The poor guy made it clear that he didn't do that because of any intentions but he just did it as he will do for anyone in need of his help" she explained.

Melissa smiled as she was trying to justify herself. Altgo she doesn't need it but prowling Tyndall was frustrating the poor girl.

"That can be accepted but we can't hide the fact that this so called guy start attending church because of you and out church precisely" she added just to elongate the matter.

Melissa smiled as Tyndall deftly opened another topic for argument. She's really good at what she does.

"That's a blatant lie! That poor boy has been attending church before he met me" Somaria defended intensely.

"Hmm hmm" Tyndall said with pressed lips.

"He now attends our church?" Melissa asked innocently.

Unknowingly for her but not strange, she gave Tyndall a thumbs up to continue her taunting.

Tyndall do enjoy herself from everyone's comment.

"He told me he's been a member of the church for a long time now" Somaria said baldly.

"I can't take that" Tyndall shook her head. "Do you wanna know why?"

"Won't you say it anyways" she sizzled.

"Well I think he told a pure lie because we've been attending the church for over a decade now and we've never heard of him from anyone neither did we see him around for once until he asked you out".

"What's your stress with this guy?" Somaria said tiredly.

"I'm just letting you see right" she replied.

"I don't need it".

Of course you do" she argued.

"I'm going to skin you alive one day" Somaria threatened. "Melissa, Juan...."

"Juan?" Melissa interrupted. "He isn't from our country?" She asked raising a brow.

"Yes he is not" Tyndall replied quickly.

Somaria shooked her head looking derisively at her overexcited little sister.

"His father is Spanish" she relied slowly.

Tyndall stood up. "To my own opinion, I don't really fancy the guy. He is too flashy, slow and putting all those pretending act as if we don't know their type" she gave an irksome look.

Melissa smiled at her.

"Don't try to badmouth the guy because you don't like him. That's a very bad attitude" Somaria scolded.

"I'm not badmouthing him, I'm just saying my opinion here" She frowned.

"Of course you are. It's not as if you are that close to him to know all his characters. This guy helped us for crying out loud Tyndall".

Somaria couldn't hold it any longer. Tyndall was taking the issue too far and she couldn't bare it.

"Hey don't get me wrong Somaria. It's not as if I'm been cruel here. I know he is a nice guy, all I'm saying is that I don't trust him" she quickly defended herself.

"Why are you so concerned? He didn't ask you out or did he?" She asked scornfully.

"He won't dare" she boasted.

"Hey! What's so special about you that he can't ask you out? Somaria backlashed.

Melissa quickly butt in before they continue to argue about how good they are.

"You both is special, with or without money" she gave them a sweet smile.

"Tell her" Tyndall inserted. "Well thank God he is out of town because I'm tired of Bro Smith coming to me that you don't give him any attention again".

"Tyndall!! You better mind your business" Somaria shouted.

"Hey baba, don't pull the building down with your shout" she teased.

"I don't care! I would rather love it fall on that big wide mouth of yours" she invect eyeing her.

"Thanks I love my lips" she laughed.

"God, how come I inherited this girl" she looked up as if talking to God.

"I'm not your inheritance" she snapped.

"Of course you are" she said in same manner.

"Girls calm down".

Melissa looked at the girls exchanging glares.

"Tyndall haven't I told you to always respect your sister?"

Tyndall sobered up looking at Somaria. "I do respect her" she grumbled clearly.

"Of course you do but I'm not interested in your almighty respect because it doesn't seem like respect to me but disrespect" Somaria said baldly.

"Calm down you!" Melissa said to Somaria. "What she's saying is not bad but her presentation is".

" I don't just like her pokenosing into my business" Somaria complained.

"If she doesn't, do you want reporters or researchers to do it? She is your sister and would surely want to know about you and you too about her and likewise I. So don't get cross for it" she scolded.

Somaria looked at her plainly. It's been a long time since Melissa sat and discuss with them. Even during her leave, she will still have a per time job to do. Whenever she's back she's always very tired and none will want her disturbed. She was still in pensive when she heard Melissa ask

"That bro Smith isn't that popular guy in church?"

"Yes. He's such a nice guy" Tyndall quickly replied.

"Wow" Melissa chuckled.

"Don't let Tyndall place wrong ideas in your head. There's nothing between us" Somaria said and Melissa snorted. "I'm serious here" she added with a frown when Melissa seem not to believe her.

"I don't know Somaria's stress. This guy is a very handsome guy. Almost all the ladies in town wants him but this guy chose you. He didn't hide the fact that he likes you" she said vehemently.

"You are only assuming things. He's just a friend" Somaria argued.

"You've started again" Tyndall mocked. "Ok I accept" she adjusted. "I accept that you are just friend but why is it that anytime he sees you and Juan he's not always happy. Explain that" she asked inquisitively.

"You won't know a thing and you would be blabbering about it"she insulted. "He do annoy me anytime he sees Juan....."

"That's exactly what I'm driving at. Why do you think he does all that? It's simple. He wants you" she gave her conclusion emphasing on he wants you.

"It's not as if he asked me out anyway" she said proudly.

"If he did will you give him a yes?" Tyndall asked.

"Of course I won't" she snapped.

"You see Big sis, that's exactly what I'm saying. This girl si tii full of herself".

"Don't let Smith cajole you with his pretending characters. The guy in question is self-centered" she criticise.

"Is it because he doesn't like Juan that why he is self-centered? Every man will want to keep his girl. So it's no big deal" she defended raising and waving her hand to show she's not buying it.

"He didn't ask me if I'm going out with him or not, he just concluded that he is using his excess money to entice me, just to take advantage of me. He said that I shouldn't let my state now make me run to him for money and defile myself. What an annoying word!" She narrated irksomely.

It was as if a bucket of cold water was thrown on Tyndall. Immediately her countenance fell. She didn't seem to be herself anymore. She seem to be in the middle of dilemma whether to be angry or sad. Her sisters know how much she hates it when people criticise them when it comes to money and men. Tyndall was of a temperament that is easily overcome by emotions. As lively as she is, she's a bit fragile when it comes to emotions even though she tends to argue it.

"I didn't mean to say that" Somaria almost apologized.

She has always kept this from Tyndall but now she let it slip just to prove what is not important and her jovial sister's feeling got hurt in the process. She felt bad about it. Now Smith will never be her favorite.

"How come I didn't know about all these? I do attend the church too"

Melissa slipped in just to bring back Tyndall's vitality but she kept calm.

"That's simple because you do take your leave immediately church is dismissed" Somaria replied instead.

"Well I think I have a lot of time on my hands now. I can listen to them all" she said smiling at Tyndall who was trying to adjust. "Won't that be nice baby?" She asked her.

Tyndall gave her a pale smile. "Yes it will".

"Since it's my issue, I think I'm yh one in the best position to do the talking" Somaria butts in.

That was what brought Tyndall's zest attitude back.

"That's not true. I won't mice words but you would" she said quickly.

Melissa and Somaria smiled.

"So where should we start from?" Melissa asked

"Let's start from Juan. That's would be a very interesting topic and since you won't be working clock round again, you can learn about Bro Smith later. But now, Juan is the best" she talked hurriedly as if she has a hot yam in her mouth.

"God help Smith" Somaria said inwards.

"So let's begin" Melissa announced.

"Melissa!" Somaria called.

"What? Am I not permitted to know your secrets?" She laughed.

Somaria sighed. "They ain't secrets" she objected.

"Big sis, we met Juan at the university. He's a final year student and now he's out of town. He should be around 6-7 feet tall...."

"Wow the guy is qui tall" Melissa said.

"Yes" Tyndall nodded smiling. "He's quite handsome too" she added.

"Are you falling for him already?" Somaria teased.

"Me" she pointed to herself with pride beaming in her eyes.

"What is me... Are you too beautiful for him?" Somaria hissed.

"I never said that but all I know is that I'm not in anyway interested in him. He's just too boring" she said.

"Hmmm" Somaria mocked

"Is it because I said he is handsome? Should I just lie that he is horrible looking?" She asked irritated.

"Hey no qualms. I was only asking" Somaria laughed.

"You don't just want me to talk about him but Miss, your plan has failed" she grinned wickedly.

"Who is stopping you before" she glared at her.

"Don't interrupt me again" shewarned playfully. "As I was saying, he came to us a day like that when we were coming from school. Big sis, immediately I saw him, I knew he was coming for Somaria and I told her. She knows I'm good at quickly catching signs. Ever since, he has been following us trying to prove nice which I don't really buy" she finished her narration.

"Am I complaining?"

"You won't before" she mocked. "Can you just imagine two people on a date and the only thing in the wor!d they could ever talk about is family. For a full day. Isn't that absu?" She said giving a nauseating look.

Melissa burst into laughter.

"It's none of your business. Since you aren't the one having the conversation what's your stress?"

Somaria eyed her. Virtually it wasn't Somaria's fault that their conversation is all about family. But the guy in question was always talking about that and she has to concur.

"Big sis, don't you trust that if it is I, I would have screened his life. If not that it will look somehow I would have asked him lot of questions but Somaria won't let me"

"Somaria don't try it or else the guy is in deep trouble" Melissa said laughing.

"I do know that" Somaria agreed.

"Honestly I'm dying to know more about the guy" she said with a curious look.

"I never knew you were so much interested in Juan. I thought you don't like him" Somaria mimicked her as she always do whenever she's proudly rejecting something.

"Wanting to know more about him doesn't mean I like him and moreover he is going out with my sis, so what's the big deal in wanting to know? " she defended proudly.

"And point of correction we are not going out. He hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend. He said we should be friends" she explained.

"I can't believe that" she argued shaking her head.

"I'm serious here. He said we should be friends. That's all he said" she added.

"Are you kidding me?" Tyndall snorted. "What sort of guy is that?"

"Maybe he's just looking for a companion" Somaria expatriates.

"I don't think I've ever heard since I've been born that a guy walked up to an unknown Lady and asked her to be his friend only" she said amazed.

"Maybe he us trying to keep calm" Melissa suggested.

Tyndall nodded.

"No need to feel defeated, he's all gone now" Somaria mocked smiling.

"Why would I feel defeated?" She frowned.

The two ladies cackled at her look.

"He might return for you" she said confidently.

"Ah Tyndall!" Somaria said smiling.
