After the humanoid figure was sucked into the light, the humanoid figure found himself in a closed space. Everything was dark again but this time he could hear some sound from outside of the closed space. It sounded like a different language. There was occasional growls as well. It was strange.
He tried to move again but unlike the previous space where everything was cold this space was warm and wet. Before he could figure out what was happening a sudden contraction came. With the contraction came the sounds of shouts and screams and frantic movements. The space that he occupied started to move as well. A crazy idea came to mind.
'Holy fuck!!! Am I in a womb? What the hell is happening? How did I get here? Or more importantly how do I still have my memories? Did I got transmigrated? Holy mother fucking goddess!! Does rebirth really exist? '
Frantically the humanoid figure or should I say the unborn baby, started to move around. Trying to find a way to get out. He wanted to get out of this close space.
He kept moving and moving until he found an opening and tried his very best to get out. Slowly but surely he came out from the womb. As soon as he got out he was so excited that he gave a cry from happiness but soon fell asleep from exhaustion.
He could feel that the people there was moving him around and wrapping him in a towel, washing him and many more but he didn't care. He just wanted to sleep and so he slept until finally he was taken outside the cabin by a middle aged and given to a burly man who was waiting outside the cabin alone with the rest of the village. He could blurry hear someone speaking.
Slowly he opened his eyes and what he saw left him in awe.
There was a crowd of the most gorgeous people he has ever seen staring at him as if he was going to break at a simple touch. Their stare isn't the thing that baffled him but the pair of ears and tails behind their backs that are all wiggling in excitement.
He stared back at them curiously. The man who was holding him started to sway from left to right as if cradling him and indeed he was. At least he was trying to.
(Come one you can never expect a cook to suddenly fight right? The same goes here. That burly man is the village chief so naturally he is the strongest warrior in the village. A man who has all his life only swayed spears and swinged swords can never sway a baby properly. It a miracle in it self that the baby is still in one piece and the baby is not thrown away from his arms like a spear by how violently he is swaying his body from one side to another.)
Having been swayed this violently the baby couldn't help but let out a cry, or he was about to but before he could the man started to sway him more violently which in the end turned more into a game for the child than being rocked to sleep.
After sometime the burly man handed the baby back to the middle aged woman, which was a relief for the child, who took him back into the cabin and gave him to the exhausted but excited woman laying down on the bed. The middle aged woman slowly placed the baby in the laying woman's chest as the laying woman fonded the baby.
Sometime later the burly man can in and sat down next to the the laying woman, looking at his family with love and affection, with determination hidden behind as if swearing to protect the people in front of him with his life.
The burly man opened his mouth and said in a soft and gentle voice "What do you want to name him, dear?"
The woman looked up at her husband and said with the same amount of gentleness "How about Kongane no fuyu as in golden winter. Since his eyes are golden and his skin is as white as the purest snow. We can call him Kongane for short. "
" A beautiful name dear. Just like him. " Replied the burly man.
While all this was happening Kongane was listening silently from his new mother's lap.
'I cant believe that I was reborn. Maybe the gods finally had mercy. Kongane huh. I just that's my name from now on. Maybe in this life I can finally be with my new family and life a happy and peaceful life. Maybe in this life I can be happy for once. '
He turned his head and looked at his new mother and father for sometime, then he laid down on his mother's chest to sleep. He was still tired. His new mother also laid down on the bed and went to sleep with him wrapped around his arms, hugging him close to her chest. Slowly the only sounds left in the room was the soft sound of breathing.
