Chapter 30
"So you are telling me that the two might have fought about something so they didn't have lunch together is that it?" Dean asked Jiro who is standing in front of him and he nod feeling happy that his senior completely understand his train of thoughts.
"And that is why we should fix their bro ship and bring it back to the way it is!" Jiro said pumping his fist up in the air with enough enthusiasm.
"How about having a group outing on the zoo or planetarium?" Jiro asked with sparkles on his eyes and he received a head chop.
He clutch his head from pain as Dean did not bother holding back his strength.
"You just want to have some fun, have you forgotten about the exam that is just around the corner?" Dean kindly reminded the student who did not even manage to review even one subject.
Jiro believe in his cramming skills so he can't be bothered by this midterms exam, as long as he can pass even if it is not that high it is fine. His parents isn't the type to pressure their child and would just require him to not fail so doing the bare minimum is enough.
A sigh escape the seniors' lips, why is the kids these days so hard headed.
"Little Ren go and buy grocery with Mikhail , let him carry the groceries."
He can't do that outing Jiro wanted but he could at least make a chance for the two juniors to make up and fix misunderstandings.
Mikhail and Ren who did not even fought in the first place would have nothing to fix anyways. Ren nod his head not bothering to know where the school tyrant is since he had not yet returned to the dorm.
He head out alone believing he could handle himself not like he is a child who can't go alone so he went to the supermarket while carrying his umbrella just in case it rained and then he head out his steps are light.
"Excuse me little Kid do you know Mikhail Astin?" Ren was stopped by a group of people he did not know.
He felt something is not right and just said no trying to run past the group who blocked his way but he could not outrun them.
"Oy why are you running so fast Ren Vista? This is you in the photo are you not?"
Are these guys stalker? They have pictures of him and Mikhail together taken at some hidden angle and his senses is telling him that this is not looking good.
"we heard some rumors that you are buddies and so we would just like to invite you to our place what do you think?" He asked but it doesn't seem like Ren have a choice and by the looks of things if he refused they don't mind getting physical.
"I'm sorry I need to buy some groceries and I have a curfew so I can't really go with you guys please let me go."
The hands holding his wrist was shaken off by him as he tried to run one more time, but it must be really his unlucky day as he went and slipped on a rock he did not notice and the men laughed as they saw Ren fall face flat on the ground.
He looked quite pitiful already scratched without them even doing anything.
Since they feel sorry for the little kid they did not handle him roughly and just escort him with two other man holding his arms so he can't escape and run away.
"We won't hurt you we just want that bastard to come here for payback."
Exactly because of Mikhail they can't collect any protection fee. Beating him up would show the other cowards who is the boss of this place and then they collect their money once again.
Ren wanted to scoff at what they said but he did not show it on his face and remained a straight face. Why would Mikhail go and save him knowing all of this is a trap? They are not that close and he is just treated as a chef by the school tyrant. Are they even friends?
He doesn't know what his relationship with Mikhail is at all since the school tyrant is quite weird.
If ever he is treated as a friend he won't even go and save him though. How could they even contact the school tyrant?
Looks like the thugs have his phone number as they happily dial his number but he doesn't answer until they called him for the fifth time.
"Hello who is this?" The familiar voice is heard from the other line.
"You don't know me but-"
"then goodbye"
'beep-----------'
He hanged up the call even before the thug could finish explaining , Ren got the urge to laugh at what happened but he did not laugh knowing how severe the situation while the thug felt dumbfounded as he blankly stare at the phone for a few second before angrily dialing the phone again.
The thug angrily tapped his feet waiting for Mikhail to pick up again but he did not pick up anymore even though the thug tried a few more times it seems like he have been block listed on Mikhail's phone. Feeling annoyed his and Ren's eyes gaze met and he seemed to get another idea.
He tried to feel up the pockets on Ren as he tried to search for the little guy's phone.
"Answer him and call him for help when I pass you the phone do you understand?!" Ren nodded patiently.
After two rings Mikhail quickly answered the phone call completely different to how long before he answer the thug's phone call.
"Ren-ren what's wrong? Dean told me that you bought groceries, should I pick you up?" he asked noy yet aware that Ren is currently tied in a chair not even managing to buy a single grocery before he got abducted by the group of thugs.
"I think I can't go home since I've been kidnapped."
After he said that the phone call was ended abruptly he didn't even manage to explain the situation and he could only smile bitterly, figures this would happen. Now how should he run away with his life intact?
