Chapter 1

Zed's POV

"Zed!" she called my named as she go nearer and nearer to me. Today, I saw her beautiful face again. She flip her hair as she smile towards me too.

We often meet in this place where we first met. Its good to see her again with that curvy thing on her lips. When she finally got into me, she immediately hugged me and kiss my cheeks. However, I got frowned to what she did next as she hugged me again tightly, she whispers like a scary ghost that makes me want to run into somewhere.

She immediately turns herself into something. Now, she have Iron wings, eyes on her forehead, sharp fangs and nails, horns and frightening mouths with fangs on the body that burst in front of me.

Is she really Xenon? I never thought this would look like the woman I have known for a long time.

"Xe-xenon" I shook as I stepped backed away from where I was standing. Suddenly, its appearance changed again infront of me causing myself to breathe easily.

"Do you also believe what they say?" she slowly asked. I did not know how to tell her the truth because of the form she showed up to me. She is the scariest thing that showed up but I don't want her to be hurt by my words.

"Answer!" she shouted at me then she changed form again in front of me.

"MONSTER!"I shouted. I just ran away with this extravagant approach that I just did. I accelerated my run until she no longer followed me but I was mistaken on thinking that she did not follow me and just stop because when I looked in to the other side, her scary appearance was exposed into my sight.

"Are you afraid of me because of how I look? Well, it's time for you to disappear." she said to me before letting go on its wings the sharp object that hit my whole body.

She does approached me slowly. I even tried to crawl on the ground where I am now but when I tried, it made even harder for me to get out on the seeming straps that wrapped around my foot from the mouths of her body.

"You will never escape from me!" she then shout at me before the whole area where I live finally got shine.

'Where am I? What world is this?'

"How are you?" Xenon asked. I step backed away because of her approach. How humble is her face here when earlier it looked like a scary monster, threatening to kill an innocent person like me. Is it human fault that they feel such fear after seeing a scary creature?

"Don't worry, I'm the kind Xenon." Her face was gentle as she told me those words. She even managed to smile in front of me but she also immediately withdrew her beautiful smiles towards me. I was just surprised by its transformation like before and then it approached me and pierced my body with a sharp object.

At the speed of events I only now realized that my body was slowly disappearing from my friend's hand. The great taste of success will probably die at the hands of the enemy. However, it made the scenario more likely ironic cause the pain I felt now was because I will die and I will disappear into the hands of my own friend.

"Xenon, I want--" I could not continue the words I wanted to release because I was completely lost in front of her. I want you, Xenon. Not just as a friend, but why did you do it to me?

Xenon's POV

I just woke up because of the strong wind that touches my face. Is it raining again? Will there be another foe that will going in Crizopeia? Who is my next guest?

I got up from my bed then I sat in front of the table with a mirror that gives a reflection into my whole self. On the side of the table, there is our picture. I got freeze for a minute as I reminisce the past where we absolutely have a nice curve of smile while we are cuddling each other.

It has been ten decades since I killed my friend; that day was one of my biggest regrets. My mother is the only reason why I did that thing. I even tried to ask for help from other powerful creatures but they did not seem to hear my complaint. Maybe, they will not really go on the side of someone like me. Not to the child of Vera.

"We'll see you again." I uttered the cold breeze that slapped my skin. Zed wasn't just still stays in my heart but he also stays in my mind and he will never be removed from my whole being no matter what kind of power my mother uses on me so that I will never ever forget my friend.

"You are thinking of him again." someone caught my attention as I heard those words. As I turn into her direction, I saw a little butterfly-winged creature in front of me.

"How can I not think of him when every time I sleep he is what I think of." I just bowed down after saying those words. It's my fault why he's gone now.

"You don't need someone like him. Only mortal cries and fears will give you strength, Xenon. It has been decades since you stopped threatening people. Many foes are entering Crizopeia, Xenon. Aren't you doing something?" Here she is again. Every day this one preaches me and it makes me so irritably.

From sitting I just stood up in my seat and start to walk towards the window. "Nothing. It would be better for them to suffer at the hands of others and not at my hands." I am not really in the mood to sow darkness in Crizopeia.

It was enough for me to kill my dearest and favorite friend Zed, so why else? All I want for them is for all mortals to be well disturbed by the monsters that enters my territory.

"Are you sure you don't want to do something?" It went in front of me just to ask me again. This time I used my arms to slapped her. She sprang to her feet and fell to the floor. Even friends, I treat them poor creatures similar to the creatures in Crizopeia.

"My decision is completely and totally fine so I don't want to repeat it." I told him authoritatively before I changed form and ventured into the air. I just ignored her even though I knew she was hurt because of what I did.

I am not the so called scariest villain in Crizopeia for nothing. It's her fault why she was hurt so even though she is still my friend I have no intention on helping her.

Learn to stand on your own feet, that's what I always say. I wanted to see who would going to disturb the Crizopeia today so I immediately went to the opening of the place to watch for it and what I did to her is just ignore her like nothing happen.
