(POV FIRST)
After the knights were lined up and the group in the back was formed, we were separated into brackets.
The Rose Knights were sent to one corner of the field.
As we were the smallest group with a mere 20 people, we were the quietest. Everyone here was a noble except for me. None of them seemed to know or care about each other. I was fine with this because this meant we would focus on studying and not on bulling the commoner,
The knight in front of us leads us to the corner upon which we stopped.
"Make a 4 x 5 grid. You have 5 seconds," he said.
Since I was in the front, everyone clamored to the right and back.
"Very good. Now, First place. Step forward," The knight said as he pointed at me.
I took the hint and took a step in front of all of my bracket men.
"Name."
"Sol."
"Last name."
"I don't have one."
The knight looked at me. It seemed that having the last name signified you as a noble. This would mean that Eliana was also noble. Or she was faking it as she did with her knighthood.
Back to the knight. He seemed a little surprised that I didn't have a last name. I looked around and saw that the rest of the people were also looking at me in amazement.
Then the knight started laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... Oh this is rich. Rose pages. Look to the top of your class so far."
Then everyone really started to look at me. It got a little wried but I just stood at an attentive pose, just looking at the knight in front of me.
"He was one of the first to figure it out and the fastest to get in line first. These are some of the fields of a Rose knight. You must be constantly observing your surroundings and learning from them. As a personal knight to a noble or even royalty, you must be fast to react to any situation.
"Now, to you specifically. Aren't you the kid that the king asked for personally?"
"Yes, Sir" I replied.
This just made all of the noble kids more interested in me. How could I, a nameless person, have been personally asked for by the king? All of this just made the knight laugh more.
"Where did you grow up?"
"I was born in the forest. My father was a level maniac so I am level 115. He and my mother were killed by a demon. I became a knight so that I could make that never happen again." I said.
I wanted to get all the tiny lies out of the way so that I could not be asked about these things for a little while. And as people say, the best lies contain part of the truth. Either way, this really made the people behind me surprised. Some of the girls seemed to tear up. Apparently, the concepts 'level maniac' and having your mother killed by a demon was a very sad story.
I didn't really care. With these lies, I could at least distribute the insane amount of points I had stored up. It was beginning to get tempting but if I did it before, it would have been a little hard. Then, the knight asked a question I was not expecting.
"What happened to the demon?"
I looked at him.
"Don't kill me when I tell you this," I said.
I was going to make up this lie on the spot and I wanted to see how far I could take it.
"The demon was a lust demon. An incubus, if you will. My father had signed a contract with it. The contract stated that he would give up his life as well as his wife's. The contract stated that if they gave up their souls, I would be granted immense power. And so, the demon took their lives and then pulled outs its heart and forced me to eat it."
"What happened then?"
"That demon ... well it would be more believable if I showed you," I said as I walked over to one of the walls.
"Kid, if you think that a demon can give you enough power to even dent that wall, you must be mistaken. No demon has that power. Not even the strongest knight to the king can put a dent in it, " He said.
I just looked at him. I distributed my points. It looked kind of like this.

For reference, the normality for a normal fit male human was 100 in every stat. For knights, it varied depending on what bracket you formed but the most powerful would have, more or less something like this;

Charm: 100
Some of you might be wondering where I put the extra points. When I opened the stats, a new tab opened up with me. It said, store. I clicked it and it came up with a bunch of skills. I have no idea why it didn't come up before but I didn't really care. I bought the skills and used the extra stat points up to upgrade them as far as I could.
I walked up the wall and raised my hand against the wall and pulled back my middle finger, reading the most power flick the world had ever seen.
All of the noble kids just seemed to giggle at me. There must be something very special about this wall.
Then, I let go of my middle finger.
