Chapter 1: Painful Times

Cough...splatter....

"...Mina...?"

His sunset-orange eyes roamed the dead bodies scattering about, hoping dearly that none of them belonged to his family.

But alas...he saw too many faces...

Sawada, Tsunayoshi, Vongola Decimo, slumped back into the wall and slid down; a tear fell from his eye.

"...War...is...so...messed...up..."

The brunet chuckled dryly as he moved a hand to cover his bleeding stomach;

He idly thought how he couldn't feel the bottom part of his body.

His fingers started to numb; it caused the brunet to look at his hands.

When he saw them, he smile sadly.

Both hands are numb, but one of them was clenched tightly around...a black...fedora.

Tsuna coughed once more and split some blood to the side.

'Reborn...'

The brunet chuckled.

Reborn, Tsuna's sadistic, spartan, tutor,

mentor, friend, advisor and...father-figure.

'He would be telling me how pathetic i am for being taken down by the enemy...'

The Decimo sighed softly.

'Mina...I'll be joining you guys soon...'

Sunset-orange orbs slowly closed.

His last last breath drifted out in a soft sight, taken by the breeze that blew by.

The Vongola Decimo died, along with his Familia and alliances, with a gentle smile on his face.
