Chapter 1: Prologue
It was a normal day in Olympus, the gods had gathered for a meeting, discussing the current events and planining for the future and as always it had all turned into a shouting contest between Zeus, The God of Thunder and Poseidon, The God of the Sea. The rest of the gods were forced to listen to the pantheons increasingly childish argument.
They were currently fighting over who Rhea had loved more.
"If mother loved you more then why did she save me from father and not you?!" Zeus bellowed triumphantly. All the gods who had been swallowed by Cronus cringed at the proclamation, except for Hades who simply glared at his brother.
"Because she knew you would never be able to survive Cronus's stomach!" Poseidon retorted furiously. "Because she knew that out of all of us you are the weakest!"
Zeus gasped in anger and shock.
"How dare-" Zeus stammered. "YOU TAKE THAT BACK!"
"Do you fear the truth brother?" Poseidon replied mockingly. "Does the truth wound you dearest brother?"
The gods tensed as they could hear lightning rumbling around Olympus. Zeus summoned his Master Bolt, while Poseidon did the same with his trident. However just before their quarrel turned into blows, a bright light shone across the Olympian hall. So bright was the light, that even the gods momentarily lost their sight.
Once the gods regained their sight, they were shocked to find a group of teenagers standing cluelessly in the center of the hall.
"What the- Where the Hades are we?" Asked a black haired boy curiously.
"By the Gods- This is Olympus, WE ARE IN OLYMPUS." Said a slender blond girl, while freaking out.
"Neat!" Stated a muscular brown haired girl. "Never been to Olympus, though i expected it to be bigger."
The Teens obviously failed to notice the confused and suspicious gods surrounding them, after there were few forces in the world that could breach Olympus, save for that of another god.
"Uhhh... Guys?" mumbled a tall brown haired boy, however it seemed that his friends had not heard him as they continued to talk amongst each other.
"Olympus- How'd we get here?" Asked the black haired boy.
"Bet it had something to do with you..." Mumbled the brown haired girl.
"Guys?!" The brown haired boy repeated louder, however his friends still didn't hear him.
"Or maybe you decided to smash something you didn't understand, AGAIN!" The boy retorted back.
"Unlikely, trouble always finds you Prissy, and the rest of us have to suffer the consequences." The girl snapped.
"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Zeus roared, causing more lightning to rumble. The teens yelped at this and turned to face the thunder god, only now realising that they were surrouned by all the Greek Gods.
"That is Lord Zeus- He is looking at us." Said the blonde, continuing to freak out.
"And he looks really angry." said the brown haired boy frightened.
It was just the look that Zeus liked, he always liked dramatics and more then happily would use his powers to frighten and awe others.
"Forgive us, Lord Zeus but could we please know why we have been summoned." Said the black haired boy with some confidence.
Zeus would have been impressed were it not for the current circumstances.
"I have not summoned you boy!" Stated Zeus with venom. "Nor am i familiar with you"
Zeus rose from his throne and scanned the teens, they were all tense upon hearing his voice. Zeus allowed himself a slight grin.
"You must be demigods, for surely you are not gods and i doubt that you are any regular mortals" Zeus continued pompously. "Present yourselves now, lest you face the wrath of Zeus!" He threatened.
The teens gulped at his demand, the other gods however were not impressed.
"Must you always be so dramatic, brother?" Asked Hades in a bored tone.
Zeus gave Hades a furious look that would have given a heart attack to most people, Hades however simply yawned.
"I live in the underworld Zeus, do you really think you scare me?" Hades continued in the same bored expression. The other gods chuckled at his comment, much to Zeus's eternal frustration.
Zeus shook his head in frustration and turned back to the demigods.
"Well?" Zeus asked angrily.
The demigods looked at each other, quietly deciding about who should begin.
"Well, i guess i can go first." The brown haired boy said meekly.
"My name is-" Began the boy before getting interupted.
"Grover, Is that you?" Asked Dionysus.
Zeus furrowed his brows and gave Dionysus a queer look. "Is this boy one of your's Dionysus?"
"What? No, Grover is a satyr that works at the camp." Dionysus answered.
The boy, Grover looked down at his feet. "H-h-h-e-e-e-ey Mr.D" he stammered.
"We will speak more when we return to the camp Grover." Stated Dionysus with a blank face.
However this caused the Goddess Hestia to rise from her throne, irritated at the way her family was treating these children.
"Don't you dare Dionysus, the boy is just as confused as we are if not more, the last thing he and the rest them need is you hovering over them." She scolded hotly.
Dionyses's face grew red with anger.
"Now look here Hestia, Camp Half blood is my responsibility or have you forgetten my punishment?" He retorted nastily.
"I decide how to best deal with the people living and working there, not you." He continued. "So stay out of my business".
Hestia bubbled with anger at her nephew's responese and it looked like she was about to retort however she never go the opportunity.
"Sister please, let the children introduce themselves first then we can continue." Said Poseidon in a gentle voice.
She gave him a kind smile and nodded her head. Poseidon then turned to look at the black haired boy and sighed.
"Well Percy, i think it's time for you introduce yourself." Poseidon said with reluctence. This caused Amphitrite to give him a nasty look.
"You didn't!" She said with venom.
Poseidon for his part had the decency to look down at the floor in shame.
Zeus laughed at the miserable state his brother was in until he was silenced by a glare from Hera.
"I am Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon." The black haired boy said with the same confidence he had earlier.
Poseidon didn't dare to look at his wife, he feared her reaction so he continued to stare at the floor. "Now i know this looks bad Amphitrite, but i can explain..."
Amphitrite huffed. "As i am sure you will, my lord." She replied. "From the couch of course."
Triton shock his head in frustration at his fathers antics.
Poseidon continued to look at the ground while receiving triumphant smirks from all the gathered Goddesses. Percy didn't know whether he sould feel sorry for his father or laught at his misery, but one thing was for certain, Percy dearily hoped that Amphitrite wasn't angry at him. She seemed to notice his thouhts as she gave him a strained yet encouraging smile.
"Do not worry child, i do not blame you for my husbands folly."
Percy simply nodded in response and returned back to his friends, it was now the blond haired girls turn.
"My name is Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Athena." She said respectfully, Said Goddess gave her a brief smile.
"My Name is Clarisse La Rue, Daughter of Ares." She said while glancing at the god of war. Said God gave her a nod and a wicked smile which she returned.
"As pleasent as these introductions have been, you have still not explained how you came here to Olympus." Zeus said in a dramatic voice.
"Believe me, Lord Zeus we are wondering the same thing." Responed Percy meekily.
Zeus was about to retort but he was interupted by his wife.
"Oh give it a rest, Zeus!" Said Hera hotly, "They are obviously clueless about this, so stop wasting their and more importantly our time!"
Zeus frowned, but nodded to his wife, wary of starting a battle he knew he would not win.
"Very well, i suppose i will send you back to your camp." Zeus said but before he could do anything another blinding light showered the hall. Once it subsided, the gods and demigods discovered a giant television screen on the wall and a note in the center of the hall.
Percy being the closest to it, picked it up and started to read.
'Dear Gods and Demigods, Herein lies the tale of Kratos, The lost Olympian God. You have all been brought to this hall to withnes this tale on this television screen, you cannot leave before the tale is over, any attempt will be stopped. Just press the start button at the bottom center of the screen to start the tale.'
Thunder was heard across all of Olympus. All the gathered gods covered their ears knowing what was to come.
"WHO DARES TO COMMAND ME?! ME?! THE KING OF OLYMPUS!" Zeus roared causing lightning to strike the roof of Olympus..
"ZEUS YOU OVERGROWN CHILD STOP IT!" Hera yelled at her husband, it seems to have worked as Zeus calmed down.
"So... Who is Kratos?" Asked Percy.
