Gu Guangzhi smirked at the Rank 3 Bai clan gu master's reply. The other gu masters who were attacking Gu Guangzhi stopped attacking and slowly started withdrawing while maintaining their attack posture.

Soon, the battle resumed. The Rank 3 Bai clan gu master started his attacks with Icicle Gu as Gu Guangzhi started to counter them using bamboo spears created from his Rank 2 Bamboo spear Gu. As he broke the thin chains on the hair band, an angry looking water wolf came out of it. It had been locked since the battle began and it was furious that it could do nothing. The Rank 2 gu masters present looked visibly scared at the huge water wolf.

Noticing Gu Guangzhi's predicament, the water wolf used its Rank 3 Water veil Gu to form a defensive veil around Gu Guangzhi. A Rank 2 gu master used this opportunity to use Snowy mist Gu and drastically reduced the vision in the field by creating a fog. He had Fog vision Gu that allowed him to see clearly in fog. He wanted to use this opportunity to finish off Gu Guangzhi. However, due to the effect of soul bonding, Gu Guangzhi and the water wolf were able to communicate with each other. It was a sword path gu insect formed from combining Bamboo cable Gu and Bamboo sword Gu.

As Bai Xu Delan witnessed the death of his clansmen only one thought remained in his head, 'We have provoked an insatiable monster. We need to quickly get out of here.' Holding another Lightning bamboo Gu in his hand, Gu Guangzhi approached them. Bai Xu Lan could still fight but her father was seriously injured so she agreed to surrender.
