Peculiarities in the world of Reverend Insanity

As Gu Guangzhi was making his way out of the arena, he met Yu Wen Zi. Yu Wen Zi spoke up, "You look pretty beat up. Did you really have to fight with Zhen Hong? If your control on Rock burst Gu was off even by a little, you would've been the dead one!" Gu Guangzhi smiled and replied, "That is the way of life for a gu master. For example, why did the names of the months in this world have the same names as those on Earth? Back on Earth, the names of the months were closely related to the names of the months on the Roman calendar. But did the Roman Empire exist in this world? No. Then why were they named like that?

Similarly, he saw the sun, moon and stars everyday in this world. But does that mean there was a solar system in this world? Maybe figuring out about these coincidences could allow him to travel back to Earth! But as of now, he had no time to deliberate on these mysteries. His only focus was the gu fighting tournament and getting stronger. So he put everything to the back of his head and immersed himself in practice with the supplementary gu insects.

On the fifteenth day of October, the winners of the first round started participating in the second round of the elimination tournament. Mao Ning's match was on the first day. Her opponent was a subordinate of Jia Fu. She was ruthless and burned him to ashes. She didn't even care about claiming her opponent's gu insects and burned everything. There was a prize money for clearing the second round but it was only around 1500 primeval stones. It wasn't much to these strong gu masters who were able to come up to this point.

Gu Guangzhi had his match on the next day. He gathered some information about his next opponent and went home to strategize. The next day, he entered the arena calmly.
