I wandered back to my apartment at 10 in the evening when I felt someone was watching me from far away and I didn't perceive if that was just my imagination or not. I contacted Yoongi about the woman a while ago. He went to my apartment to know more about the woman who's standing outside our shop and asked, "Do you think she's following me?"
"We can't assume that she's following you. It's just a coincidence when you saw her standing in front of our shop. Maybe she's waiting for someone. Also, you didn't see anyone, who's following you." He explains as he called Yang to come to his lap.
"I know but I felt that someone was following me when I was wandering at the road back in my apartment and it's freaking me out."
"Why don't you relax for a bit and don't overthink too much."
"It's not easy for me to relax when it was my first time feeling like this." I sighed as I stepped inside the kitchen to get some wine and wineglass.
I place it on the table and pour the wine into each glass. I gave it to Yoongi as he put Yang down his lap to cross his legs.
"What do you want to do about that?" He asked.
"I don't know. If those won't happen again, then I'll let that slide but if it happened. I'll investigate first." I explain before sipping my wine. He frowned while looking at me and asked, "Why don't you report to the police?"
"I can't just barge into the police station to report that I've been followed without any strong evidence. As you said, I didn't see anyone if I've been followed or not. They'll think I'm crazy." I said as I shrug it off before taking a sip of the wine.
"I know you're crazy so you don't need to mention." He said. I glared at him and finished the last sip of my wine.
"I'll be sleeping here on the couch since I'm being lazy to go back to my apartment."
"Wow, your apartment was located at this building." I crossed my arms while looking at him.
"I'll just cook for our snacks, okay?" He said as he stood up and strolled to the kitchen. I fill the glass up with wine and take a sip before going to the kitchen.
"You want some more wine?" I asked him as I put down the wine on the kitchen table.
"Yes please." He said while searching for food inside the fridge.
"Do you have chips? I want some nachos." He asked me. I got up and went to the cabinet, where I placed all the chips. I lifted up the chips in front of him and smiled.
"Nice. I'll just cook some beef and you did the guacamole." He ordered me as he tossed the avocado in my direction. Luckily, I catch the avocado and start doing the guacamole.
After assembling the nachos, we sat down and started eating the nachos along with the wine that I gave to him. He grabbed his glass up to have a shot.
"What do yo—" I cut off when my doorbell rings vigorously. We took a look at each other before standing up and went to the front door.
As I opened the door, there's no one around and Yoongi went outside to examine someone's presence. I take a look at Yoongi, who's wrinkling his eyes while looking downstairs.
"Did you see someone?" He looked at me and nodded.
"I can't identify if that's a girl or a guy."
"What?" We got back inside as I locked the door and sat again to the kitchen.
"That person was fully clothed, wearing a mask and a cap. So I don't identify the gender." I sighed as I took a sip of my wine.
"It could be related to the woman I saw that morning." He shrugged
"Maybe yes, maybe not. We can't assume things whether that girl was related to your imagination or not." He placed his glass at the sink and walked to the couch.
"Give me some blanket, I'll sleep and you should too." He said as he laid down on the couch. I went inside my room to get him a blanket and tossed it to him before getting inside the room.
"Goodnight, Yoonie!" He just hummed. I walked inside the room and threw myself on the bed while looking at the window. I stood up and went to the window, I slammed it open to watch the surroundings but when my eyes went to the light pole, I saw a person, standing beside it while looking in my direction.
My heart throbs as the person pulled down the mask and smiled at my direction. I hurriedly closed the window and hid on my bed and forced myself to sleep.
------
I couldn't sleep last night when I imagined that person's smile. It's certainly freaked me out, to the point that every time I closed my eyes, that smile appeared from my sleep. It could be my nightmares if that happened.
As I walked out of my room, I didn't see Yoongi at my apartment. "He probably went home to have a bath," I mumbled.
I did all the morning routine that I usually do before going to work.
I strolled out of the apartment and went downstairs to the building. I notice that I'm the only one who's walking to the sidewalk but I just shrug it off and plug my AirPods into my ear.
I placed down my AirPods when I saw a shadow coming from me so I stopped walking and turned around to see if someone was following me but no one was there. "That's odd," I whispered. I went back from walking but I didn't plug my AirPods to be more aware of my surroundings.
I really felt someone was following me again from behind but when I turned around, no one was there. I tried to walk faster to reach the shop. After 5 minutes, I felt a relief when I reached the shop. I opened the main door since I'm the first one who arrived at the shop.
I did what I need to do before watering all the plants like I usually do.
"Good morning Mia!" I heard a familiar voice from behind. I turn my body to face Jennie.
"Good morning, Jennie," I said while smiling. She raised her brows as she walked closer to me and touched my forehead and asked, "Are you okay? You look pale."
"Really? Hmm. I guess I didn't sleep last night." She sighed as she snatched the water pot out of my hand.
"You should rest for a while since Justin and Theodore will be here at any moment."
"But I need to help you to make some pastries." He shook her head.
"We can do that. Just have a rest." I nodded. But before I could get inside the shop, the girl from yesterday was standing in front of the shop while looking in my direction. She just gave me a smile before hiding her face at the hoodie and back away.
"Who was that? Does she know me?" I whispered as I kept my eyes at the woman, who's walking away from the shop.
