Just One Night

"Come on in." He offers as I nod and walk inside his mansion.

"I'm sorry if I startle you, I see you standing on the door so I hurriedly open to welcome you."

Then, my eyes gaze around his modern house. And it has glass windows with black and white style furniture and also the design of the mansion. Also, there are some hanging plants in the living room.

And when we arrive at the dining room, I'm fascinated by how big it is and there's a counter between his kitchen and the dining room.

"I thought this is your apartment. I don't know, it's a house… No, more like a mansion." I say, leaning on the counter whilst looking at his toned back as he continually cooks the remaining food.

I strive to keep my eyes off of his strong toned back that touches his white shirt which urges me to caress it and so, I notice his cute little mole at his nape.

"Are you listening to me?"

I snap into a reality when Christian places the food on the counter, smirking at me. Then, I try to avoid his eyes when feeling the embarrassment all over my face when he catches me from staring at him.

"W-what are you s-saying?" I stutter, asking him when I haven't caught what he is saying. He chuckles, giving me some water.

"I said… I design this house and if I want to be alone or escape from everyone. I have my own house. But for now, I'm living with Jasper and two other guys."

"It's nice to have your own house." He hums, placing the food in front of me.

"Do you want to eat here or in the dining room?" He asks.

"We can eat here since you place the food at the counter." He hums.

We eat our food without talking and since my focus is on the food. He cooks pesto and steak which surprisingly is my favorite and he does a great job. This is incredibly delicious yet, I don't know if it's a coincidence or this is what he craves.

"How's the food?" He asks, breaking the silence between us.

"This food was great, it's my favorite."

"It's also my favorite, that's why I cooked that and—" I frown when his voice becomes low to the point that I don't catch the last word.

"What did you say? I haven't heard the last words." I ask, cupping my ear, trying to catch his words but he shrugs and continues eating his food.

I scoff, crossing my arms. He's weird.

"Anyways, I heard that you're a boyxboy actor." He chokes when I open the topic about his job. I grab his glass, filling it with water before giving it to him.

"W-where d-did you know that?" He asks as he taps his chest.

"From Theodore. He told me that you're acting with another man." He just rolls his eyes and places his utensil from the plate.

"He asked my brother about my job. That kid." I giggle when seeing him mortify.

"Don't be modest about your job, that's fine,"

"Theo also said that you're uncomfortable working on an actress so I thought that....you're gay," I whisper when trying not to provoke him.

"No, I'm not gay." I look down, avoiding his gaze.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you."

"It's fine. Many people and interviewers thought the same thing but I'm clarifying that I'm not gay. It's just that, it's kind of challenging when I enter the boyxboy series and I don't want to involve my leading lady." He explains.

"It's not all the time. If the netizen saw any chemistry between the actor and the actress, that's the time that will possibly love matching them. You should try it sometimes."

"I guess you're right. I'll try to do that when the issue is erased completely but for now, my team helped me to vacate my name so I could get back to my work." He mumbles as he finishes the last bite of his steak.

"Sorry in advance if you feel offended when I asked you." He sighs and nods.

"Okay. Why did they accuse you of the incident?"

"I don't know why they accuse me. She barges into the show, claiming the relationship between us. So I tell her to leave the show. Also, there's a lot of cameras focusing on me since it's a live stream. May netizens see the incident so they publicize it to the news. Now, they think I'm the bad guy even if I don't do anything wrong." He sighs, scratching his nape.

"I believe you," I mutter while smiling at him.

"Thank you for believing me. I hope that the netizens will think that I didn't do anything wrong." I nod as I finish my food before it gets cold.

"Do you want to watch something? I mean, we could have something to do before you leave." He offers as we step inside his living room.

"No, it's okay. I should probably go home." I announce, glancing at my wristwatch.

Also, I don't think I should be staying here for too long. At least my heart can't handle him. He's too flirty.

"It's getting late, you can stay here and wait for tomorrow." I shake my head as an answer.

"No need. I'll ca—" My eyes wide when hearing a loud pour from outside. I peek outside and it's raining. Not just simple rain, it's like a typhoon.

"I think you should stay here." He utters while smiling.

I don't know why I am very unfortunate today. I am in a hurry to leave this place because my heart can't take anymore when seeing him very handsome and mostly flirty. Why now?

"What do you say? Are you staying?" I sigh.

"Do I have a choice?" He smiles as he shakes his head. I groan, throwing my purse on the couch.

'I need to survive! Just one night! Christian Park, what are you doing to me?'
