Broken hearts

Tell me when , when did you lose

your heart to another

when was the first time

you fell for someone

you gave your heart to them

without even knowing it

Tell me do they know that

when their hearts break

its not only theirs that

breaks but yours as well

its funny how love works

you fall in love with someone

and the person may love you back

or have someone else that

their hearts belong to

You love

you break

you get back up

just to fall again

and again until someone

falls with you

and stops you from reaching

the ground first

and until you find that person

your heart will be broken over

and over again

until they come and replace

your missing pieces with

their own

even if your heart is broken

there is still someone

whose pieces fit with yours
