Undercover

1 hour and a half later

Kit's POV

Being in the water for 30 minutes is not cool. I was sitting in the Mark 8 delivery vehicle underwater with Javelin sitting on the other side.

"30 minutes to the point." said Ghost through my earpiece.

I signaled to Javelin 30 minutes and she gave me an okay signal.

30 minutes later

I slowly swam up to the surface while pointing my rifle up just in case there was a patrol nearby. Since it was clear we began making our way towards the beach. We got to the beach and approached this small place where there were a bunch of trees.

I took off my goggles, oxygen tank, and my swimsuit. I began to get dressed into the TMO uniform. Javelin got ready as well so we dug a hole and put all of our stuff inside. I put my ACR into a bag with Javelin's Vector and put it into the hole. I took out the usual TMO guns, AK 103 with a vertical stubby foregrip, laser, suppressor, hologram sight and a MOE stock. Javelin has an AK 104 with a tactical vertical foregrip, same laser, suppressor, hologram sight and a GLR 16 S stock.

"I hate this uniform and this gas mask." I said

"Let's move." said Javelin

6 hours later

Eren's POV

We were back home but we were immediately called over by our commanders. I was still honestly mad at everyone who fought with me. I just didn't understand how everyone thinks they had it worse than me.

"Why are we here?" asked Jean

Commander Erwin was standing there watching two screens. I looked up at the screen and it looked like it was coming from a body cam.

"Who's that?" asked Connie

Before Erwin could answer Ghost, Recon, Aid, Phantom and Marksman entered the control room.

"Kit and Javelin entered a TMO camp." said Marksman

"Keep them on the radio, do not engage or take down any enemy without permission." said Ghost through his headset.

"You sent Kit and Javelin out there?" gasped Nanaba

"Leave the room." said Ghost

"Huh?" I questioned

"I said leave."

Everyone immediately left the room in a hurry.

"Why is he telling us to come here then tell us to leave?" asked Armin

"He didn't call you, I did." said Erwin

"What is this about? Kit and Javelin? Are they actually going on an undercover mission?" I asked

Erwin nodded in response and I scoffed in disbelief.

"Why them?" I asked

"They're the best and Ghost has faith in them." said Erwin

I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways get some rest, most of you aren't having a good day." said Erwin

"Thanks to some brat." Levi whispered under his breath

"Huh, what did you just say? If you're going to whisper then just shut up." I snapped

Levi rolled his eyes and punched my face. I punched his face but he ducked under and punched me again.

"Enough both of you!" yelled Erwin

I lunged towards Levi but Annie and Armin held me back.

"Eren you are suspended for 2 weeks. Go home." snapped Erwin

"Why am I getting the punishment when Levi started it huh?!" I yelled

"Eren just go home." whispered Jean

I was so frustrated that I stormed out and kicked open the door and left.

"Eren wait!" yelled Annie

"Annie leave me alone." I snapped

"Shut up you need me." she glared at me

"I do, but do I really need to apologize?" I asked

"Eren, I know that you had a terrible childhood. But attacking someone else's childhood without knowing what they've been through is wrong." said Annie

I put my arms on my hips and sighed in frustration.

"You should go apologize to Captain Levi." said Annie

To be honest I felt a string of guilt.

"I'll think about it." I replied

"Okay, go home and get some rest." said Annie, "And think about it."

"I'm not going home just yet." I said, "But I need some time alone."

Kit's POV

I was running around the TMO camp with Javelin and other TMO operators with me.

"Their COC isn't saying anything to anyone. Whatever they're doing must be a secret." I whispered to Javelin

She nodded and kept jogging. That's when we all got into formation with the remaining TMO operators.

In front of us stood a Sergeant and he looked at each and every one of us. He seemed to be looking for someone.

"There is an impostor here." said the sergeant

I nearly gasped and my heart started beating fast.

"Kit, calm down. When he calls out for the impostor everyone is going to take a step to the left. Do that with the others or you'll be caught. This is their daily routine." said Ghost through my earpiece

"Show yourself impostor!" yelled the sergeant

Everyone took a step to the left and Javelin and I followed in time and in sync. The sergeant nodded and checked something on his clipboard. I wanted to let out a sigh but I knew I shouldn't because it'll let the others get suspicious.

"We have lost a lot of men during our invasion. But don't worry, our operators in disguise are in enemy territory and they'll kill Lieutenant Colonel Ghost and we'll win." said the sergeant

I sharply inhaled and held onto my gun tighter. Others were laughing and patting others so Javelin and I decided to do the same thing.

"Dismissed, we'll probably hear from them in an hour." said the sergeant

We fell out of formation and went somewhere quiet with Javelin.

"Colonel did you get that?" I asked

"I did, don't worry some Sentinels already got both of them." said Ghost

"They thought they were being sneaky." scoffed Javelin

"Focus on the mission." said Ghost

"Understood." I said

We left the place and we headed towards a jeep without anyone around it. We got on and took off towards their main camp.

5 hours later

We got to the main camp but we decided to patrol around a hill since they needed patrolmen out there. I patrolled on a hill and looked at the main camp. It was pretty big, there were a bunch of buildings and a bunch of personnel walking around. I also saw a lot of TMO mutants walking around.

"They have to be protecting something." said Javelin

"Time to figure out what." I said

"But I don't see anything unusual." said Javelin while looking into the binoculars

That's when the radio on my shoulder began to make noises.

"Patrol 23, report to camp Titan." said the voice through my radio

"That's us." I said

I pushed a button on my walkie talkie and responded.

"Patrol 23 reporting." I replied

We left the hill and headed into camp Titan and we just began to walk around looking for anything suspicious.

We've walked for about 20 minutes but we never found anything. We've even snuck into buildings for intel but we got nothing.

"Colonel, whatever they're hiding they don't want anyone to know." I said through my earpiece

"Understood, staying there for too long would stir up suspicion throughout the TMO. Don't stay there for too long." replied Ghost

"Copy that." I replied

I continued walking around until I noticed this building where there was a bunch of TMO operators guarding it. I approached it but someone put his hand up in front of me stopping me.

"Sorry, no one's allowed inside." said the TMO operator

"Oh right, my apologies." I replied

The TMO operator nodded and I left with Javelin.

"We're going to need to somehow make them leave." I said

Javelin nodded in response so we left and headed back to the hill.

"We're going to have to leave soon. We don't have a place to stay, plus we don't know how to get everyone's attention there." I said

"I have a plan." said Javelin, "At night, we strike."

"How?" I asked

"We're going to have to do something to the inside of the building." said Javelin, "We can ask Hacker to override a system in there which would cause every TMO stationed outside to go in."

"Ah I see, then we head in with them as well." I continued

"Yes." replied Javelin

"I like that." I said

"Be careful while you're at it. You have 30 minutes until it's completely dark there. Hacker is already on it and he'll override the lights, gas and water there so be prepared." said Ghost

I nodded to Javelin so we patrolled around the camp for a while.

"How's your neck?" I asked

"It's fine. Your back?" asked Javelin

"It's been healed." said Kit

"Do you think Recon will be on our side after all of this?" asked Javelin

"Of course, my brother is married to her so now I think she's on our side." I said

"But she would never betray her country." replied Javelin

"I know, but since the US and Russia will be at peace after this I guess it wouldn't be considered betrayal." I replied

"Stop talking about your sister in law Javelin." said Aid through my earpiece

Javelin shook her head in annoyance.

"Geez I can't believe that." she whispered

"I heard that." snapped Recon

Javelin sighed and stayed silent.

About 30 minutes later it was completely dark.

"Approach the building." said Ghost

We made our way towards the building and when we got near the front entrance a siren rang in there causing operators who were guarding the building to run inside. We ran in the building with them, blending in with them. We entered and there were a bunch of scientists inside.

We ran through multiple hallways, taking left turns, right turns until we finally got to a double steel door. The TMO operators barged in and I nearly gasped at the sight.

I was in a huge room with a giant glass container in the middle with some kind of machines in it. It looked like a missile launcher but at the same time it didn't look like it. But I didn't have time to gap at it so I quickly left and followed the others.

"Secure this area." said a TMO sergeant

I did as told and took my position. Javelin elbows me and nods towards a scientist who looked like he was the head of it. Both of us left our post but no one noticed so we left the room and secretly followed the scientist. He entered a room all by himself which was pretty stupid for the TMO. We barged into the room, scaring the scientist. I grabbed him and smashed his head against the table and pointed my sidearm on his head.

"What the hell is that shit in the room?" I asked

He doesn't respond; instead I hear multiple footsteps and shouting outside the room.

"Kit take cover!" yelled Javelin

She jumps behind a desk but I force scientist to stand in front of me. The door exploded and I used the scientist as my human shield. The explosion threw me back and I crashed into the desk Javelin was hiding behind. I pushed the dead scientist off of me and jumped behind the desk.

"You better get out of there now." said Recon

"Where's Colonel Ghost?" I asked

"Get out of there now!" yelled Ghost

I moved out of cover and began popping TMO operators who entered the room. I left the room and we began moving through the hallways.

"I memorized the way, let's go." said Javelin

She led the way while I covered our six. I popped some TMOs who were chasing after us and they fell to the ground dead.

"Don't take the front entrance, get on the roof. There's a helicopter there." said Ghost, "Hacker will take down any anti aircraft missile launcher."

"Let's move!" yelled Javelin

We made our way up the stairs, but one TMO came down the stairs so I shot him and he fell forward. I flip him over my shoulder so that he doesn't fall onto me and shoot him again to confirm my kill.

We got to the roof and ran towards an Overseer helicopter. I got on the pilot seat and started it while Javelin covered me.

"Javelin get on!" I yelled

Javelin gets on and I take off. Everyone started opening fire at us so I swerved around trying my best not to get hit too much. We left camp Titan and headed back to where our drop point was.

"Colonel did you get that?" I asked

"Yea, all we have is a picture. We've got no idea what that is and I don't like it." said Ghost, "Are you two okay?"

"Yes sir we're both fine." replied Javelin

"There's a vessel waiting for you after you get in the water. Get some rest there and we'll talk about this when you get home." replied Ghost

"Understood, Kit out." I replied

Javelin lets out a sigh of relief and takes off her gas mask.

"God this felt so uncomfortable." said Javelin

I took mine off and I immediately felt the cool air hit my face.

"That feels nice." I said
