Dear Diary,
"Hey," Jaiden said, "Wanna take a walk? It's nice out."
"Sure," I agreed, "Got nothing better to do."
He chuckled, grabbed my hand, and we left. I pulled my hand out of his and turned around, barely catching the door before it closed.
"What?" He inquired.
"Sorry," I said, "Gotta get my keys. I don't want to be locked out."
"Yeah," He agreed.
When I got back out, I felt kind of bad. I had ruined the moment. I slid my hand into his, and we walked on. We left the building, and took in the fresh, cool, night air.
"Thanks," I said suddenly.
"What?" He asked
"You got me out of my room, and I never would have come out on my own."
"Of course," He replied.
We walked in silence for a while. We turned a corner, going around headquarters. He suddenly stopped. He dropped onto one knee, and I had a minor heart attack. He grabbed my hand.
"Emilie," He said, "We've been together for a year now," He reached for his pocket, I was taking in his every movement.
"Will you marry me?" He said, holding out a sterling silver ring with little diamonds all around it. Simple, but meaningful.
"Yes," I said, almost breathless, "Yes, I will marry you Jaiden Johnson. I will love you forever."
He slid the ring onto my finger.
Love from,
