"After that I went to the church every night, and true to his word he left the doors open for me, I came to the church when James and Shreya got married, I didn't know them until then, father Nicholas got them married and introduced us at the reception, they knew straight away that I was a vampire. They befriended me even though I was a vampire. They became my best friends About six years later father Nicholas died. I stopped coming to the church after that, I come to the cemetery every now again to talk to the father, but it was even more upsetting when James died he was my best friend" Arimas finished his story I was holding his hand as he finished

"You have me as your friend too" I told him

"Well I don't want to be your friend" Skylar exclaimed as she stood and folded her arms across her chest I gasped Arimas had just spilled his heart out and she's still acting like this I stood to fight with her but before I could even get a word in she spoke again she turned to face Arimas "I'd rather be your girlfriend" she added with a smile that stretched from ear to ear Arimas and I laughed too, he stood up and she leaned forward to kiss him

"Ewww get a room" I told them whilst I laughed, I was happy that Arimas got the girl he wanted but I wondered if I'd ever find the one for me I wasn't holding my breath but I knew I had a long time to find my soul mate I had eternity, literally, to find him we talked for a few more hours

Skylar met some more spirits and she helped them to cross over Arimas was so proud of her

I always enjoyed walking through the cemetery at night, I liked reading the tombstones to see who had lived before, I knew that one day I would end up six feet under, to spend the rest of time underground, and just like me someone else would read my tombstone and wonder what I had been like.

I came across a tombstone that stopped me in my tracks

'James Thornton

husband, father, friend

you will always live in our hearts

you will always be remembered'

I started to cry as I sat in front of my fathers grave there were fresh flowers on the grave. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned my head to see Arimas, I stood quickly and grabbed him in a tight hug

"woah, kid, relax" he told me as he wrapped his arms around me, I sniffed, then after about two minutes I let him go

"I'm sorry" I sniffed again looking at a wet patch on his shoulder

"its ok" he tried to convince me as he rubbed at it "are you ok?" he asked looking at me, I nodded a yes he nodded too "come on we best get you both home" he said as we noticed Skylar walking towards us

"can I sleep at your place Ray?" Skylar asked "I don't want to go home right now" she finished looking a little flushed I laughed out loud then blinked us both to Shreyas house, I blinked us into the living room so that I could lock the doors and windows, Arimas,again, got here before us but didn't say anything.

We said a string of goodnights then Skylar and I made our way upstairs to get in bed, I did my daily routine and went to bed.
