- there's been a battle at Hogwarts in 1987 where Dumbledore, Flitwick, Slughorn, Vector, Snape, Sinistra, Trelawney and Augusta Longbottom died

- Kingsley is the Minister of Magic and his first thing to do was to pass a law that banned any form of bigotry

- Remus is quite famous since he killed Voldemort which helped eradicating the prejudice of werewolves being monsters so nearly no one sees him and his kind in a negative light anymore
