I stood there looking at Nick.." I ... Um... I will." Nick smiled and picks me up twirling me around. As he stops twirling he lowers me down and kisses me deep with passion. Nick smiled at me, "You will never regret this decision my love I swear." In the background I see Terrell watching. He looked a little sad. But I don't feel the way I once did for him. He may feel that way now but I don't. I looked around and everyone was smiling at us. They allowed the kids to come back into the room as well, I saw Nick's little sister Cailey in the back corner as the kids come in. She was confused.
I turn to Nick and he pulls out a ring. It was a silver-based ring with a beautiful purple diamond on it. One of my favorite colors. When Cailey saw Nick put that ring on my finger she cheered up and ran over to us and hugged me tightly. " You are my new sister?!!?" Nick and I looked down at her. Nick chuckled, "Yes she will be your sister-in-law" He smiled while saying that. Everyone was extremely happy. *Boom* The front doors were slammed open. In the door frame stood three men. Nick stepped in front of Cailey and me. I looked around Him and there stood, Batman, Superman, and Nightwing. I looked to the back of the room and all I saw was Ash's face when he saw Nightwing. I knew we were all in deep trouble. "Nick I need to get Cailey and Ash out of here!..." Nick nodded and I picked Cailey up and ran over to Ash, "We need to go now" Ash lead the way out of here while Nick, Makkayla, Sarah, Bethany, and Jessie were holding Them back as all the other kids got out of there.
We got outside of the warehouse and looked for a car or something to get us out of this place. Ash went over to the bushes and uncovers a car that has been sitting there for a while, but we knew for a fact who car it was. It was Nick's car because it had his coloring on the inside and well our initials on the front license plate. M.K and N.Jr. This car is a candy apple green McLaren speedtrail. The newest car this year. The car has a 4.0 L M840T twin-turbocharged V8 with parallel hybrid system eMotor,230 kW (310 hp; 310 PS) MAT & Hewland e-Axle Permanent magnet motor, and a 7-speed Graziano dual-clutch automatic. This car is his fastest car that his father gave him. HE got it last year but it's newer than you think. We get into the car and get settled, "We should wait for them right?" Ash looked at me like I was crazy. "Nevermind.." We speed out of the venue and head to the highway. No turning back now. As we make it to the Highway I look behind us and there it is the bat car, oh how much I hated that thing. Next to the bat car was Nightwing on his stupid motorcycle. "How the hell did they even know that we were at that Wearhouse?!?!" Ah looked at me and then back at the road, "My dad has been trying to follow me for a few days but I thought I shook him off of my tracks I'm sorry Mazikeen..." I could tell that Ash felt like this was his fault. " Ash it's okay, I know you tried. Don't beat yourself up over this. He probably did something batman used to do to him when he was a kid." Ash nodded
Ash's POV: As we raced down the highway Batman and Nightwing were still riding on our tails. "We need to shake these guys now or we will never get rid of them!" I watched from the corner of my eye and I saw Mazikeen change her form. she went from her fark blackish-brown hair to her dirty blonde hair. he eyes changed from her normal baby blue color to a wicked greenish-yellow color. her outfit changed from her normal clothing to her old black uniform with the silver "S" on the front.
Mazikeen's POV:
After I changed my form I went out the sunroof and flew behind the car trying to distract Batman and Nightwing so Ash and Cailey can get away. As Ash and Cailey got away all I saw was Nightwing was racing faster I flew above him and he started to me off the highway by my foot and moves me over to the woods. We go off the highway and into the forest. Batman pulls over into the forest and joins Nightwing. I am sitting in a tree, "You know you two are really slow."
Nightwing's POV:
I look up and there is Mazikeen sitting in the tree, "Would you come down from there!?!?!?" I look over to Bruce, "Should we wait for Superman to take care of her?" I looked back over to Mazikeen. Bruce looks at her as well. "I'll take care of her, you go get your son." I nodded and got back on my bike and then drove after Ash. I was gaining upon Ash, I drove up to the right side of his car. I look into the window and I see Ash driving, and then there is a small child in the back. I talk to bruce over the intercoms, "He has a small child in the back of the car, what should I do with her when I stop them?" I wait for bruce to answer.
Bruce's POV:
As soon as I heard that there was a child with them I looked over to Mazikeen, "Hold on to her until I get there, I am going to get more information on her." I walked over to the tree and looked up at Mazikeen. "Why was there a child with you and Ash Maz?" I watched as she looked down at me. She looked around, "She is not yours to take, leave her alone why don't ya." I looked around like she did, all I saw were trees. But I know she could hear something because she was on the lookout. I go onto my intercoms, "Kal, are you here yet?" I look up into the sky, "Yes, I am here." I watched as Kal-el flies down next to me.
Superman's POV:
As I fly down to where bruce is, I see Mazikeen sitting in the tree watching me. She scooted back farther into the tree. I had changed my ways of how I feel about Mazikeen. She does not know what is right or wrong still. Since Mazikeen was only a child when she left. She was never really taught what was bad or good. "Mazikeen, Will you come down please?" I stood there waiting. I watched as Mazikeen debated on coming down or not. She started to move closer but we hear something and she goes farther into the big tree with a hollow opening. I move to Mazikeen. "I know that you have had a troubled life and that we have not understood what has happened to you or what was told to you. But please Mazikeen. come down."
Mazikeen's POV:
I watch from the hollow opening of the tree, I was scared I didn't know where I was or why I was in the tree. Something inside of me has changed like I have lost something that was dear to me. "Wh...Who are you?" I stay where I am because I am not sure who they are or why they are talking to me. I see a man in black look over to the man in blue.
Superman's POV:
I looked over to bruce, "What was the last thing did the doctor say at the prison that would happen when all of the serum she used is finally out of her system?" Bruce looked at me, "Temporary memory loss, Temporary power loss, and sickness. She will feel like she is sick as if she was coming off of a really bad death drug." I sighed because I knew this was gonna be hard for her. "Tell Dick to hurry up with those two, I really need Ash to try and keep her calm." I wait for Dick to bring ash over because bruce heard he got him. "How much longer?" I looked at Bruce, and he started to talk, "He is almost here. Just give him a moment." I stand and wait for another few minutes. Then finally Dick came down the hill with Ash and the little girl. "There you are, Ash It has been a long time." Ash looks at me and then over to Mazikeen. He tried to run over to her but dick grabs his arm and holds him back. "Let him go he needs to make sure Mazikeen is alright, the su=erum that was in her system is finally gone and she is confused. She needs to see someone she has known for a little while." Dick releases Ash, Ash runs over to the tree and starts to climb it. He goes up to Mazikeen and looks at her.
"Mazzy?" I watch as Mazikeen looked up at Ash and ran into his arms. She was scared as all get out and was crying. Ash held her tight, "Mazzy what's wrong?" She looked up at him, "what have I done?" Ash looks her in the eyes, "What do you mean?" She looked at Bruce and me. " I hurt people and I messed up their lives...." Mazikeen had just realized that what those people did to her was bad. They turned her into what they wanted, and they wanted a destroyer. I hear a noise behind me, I turn around and there stood Nick. "Why is Joker Jr. here?" I look over at Bruce. "I'm not sure, Why are you here?" Nick walked over to the tree, "I am here to get my fiancee. " I watch him climb into the tree, "What did you just say?!?!" I started to get mad.
