Chapter Eleven: Things-ish

I didn't think homework would be this complicated. I was up until two in the morning. Two in the morning! When morning came around I was not awake at all, Max knocks on my door aggressively.

"Wake up, your going to be late!"

I groan and rolled out of bed. I quickly get ready and head out of my room. I know I missed the bus. Yay! So I got to the kitchen getting a cup of coffee to see if it would wake me up. When tasting the coffee, it was so so bitter. Like what the heck. But I just go to school.

Yuck! I can still taste the the coffee in my mouth.

My phone buzzed, it was Max. It said was "walk home after school."

I was thinking, "Max school didn't start school yet." I sighed as I finally made it to school.

"Hey Lavender!" Angel said seeing her.

I waved not saying anything since I was very tired. But you would also think they can tell how your feeling right? Like oh your tired, I won't bother you. I went to first period since that's the only place I can go but guess what, Lord in that class so yay...that was a not happy yay. I don't understand how someone can to happy 24/7. Do you get my drift? Its the morning, so no one want this at all.

"Good morning Lavender." Lord smiled.

I waved once again, not saying anything. I was hoping that was the last thing Lord would say but it wasn't.

"So how are you? Got anything planned after school? If so there's going to be a party...well a get together with some of my friends if you want to come."

I shrugged, "Why not, sure." I said resting my head on the desk.

"Oh really! awesome! it's going to be at my house near the airport. Or you can just wait with Poppy." Lord says smiling.

I gave her a thumbs up and then I took a nap. It was so nice before the loud bell rang. Soon I got up and did my classes, it was all quite boring. I heard my stomach growl as I look at the clock, it was thirteen minutes before lunch. I tapped the lunch table waiting for the lines to get shorter. But it took so so long and it so crazy too. Like get your food and be done with.

"Hey Lav! Can I sit with you?" asked Poppy

"Yeah sure." I said as I look at her. Poppy seems she had something to say so I didn't say anything.

"So I heard that your coming to the party. Well it's not really a party it's more of a small gathering."

"Oh got it." I nodded

"Yep, well I'll see you later. Just meet me and my sister after school in the gym." Poppy said

"Okay see you then." I sighed and got up and finally get lunch. Later in the day I was in my last class of the day. I was still wondering who Poppy sister is. When class was done, she goes to the gym like Poppy said and she waved at me. Next to her was the girl that was a bitch to me. Oh goodie..

"Lav meet my sister Amber."

Amber and I locked eyes on each other like we were about to kill each other. Plus I was fine by that because I can actually kill her in a heart beat. I can feel my eyes turning red. I took a deep breath and put on a soft smile.

"It's nice to meet you Amber. I'm Lavender."

Amber did the same thing I did, copycat jezz. I kept my smile and it disappeared as I walk to the front of the school. I sat down waiting for everyone as I text Maxie that I will be at a friend's house.
