Chapter Six

Stacey pulled a all nighter accidentally, she yawns and realizes what time it is, "Oh wow.." Stacey said.

She walk downstairs tell her mom she going to run some errands since it's the week. Stacey puts her leather jacket on and heads out. As she did she saw Brett going on a run.

"Hey." She said to Brett

Brett gave a wave and runs a bit faster. Stacey walks into the center of town looking for nerdy gaming store. She walks in looking around.

"Morning." Said the person at the front desk.

Stacey softly smiled as she looking for Magic the Gathering cards. Jax enters the shop not seeing Stacey.

"Should I get water or earth?" Stacey ask herself. It took a moment for her to decide but she decided to get both.

As she walk to the front to go pay, Stacey bumps into someone.

"My apologies miss." Jax said

Stacey looks up at Jax, "It's fine Jax."

"Oh Stacey hey..sorry." he said scratching his head.

"It's cool, don't worry." Stacey goes up and payed for her cards. "So what are you doing here?" She faced Jax

"Just looking for a new game or a board game. But i'm not sure."

Stacey nods, "Well if your looking for a board game then Ticket to Ride is fun. But if you're going with a game then, either Sims 4 or  Assassin's Creed." Stacey suggests

"Thank you Stacey."

"No problem, see you later." Stacey heads out looking around the town.

"Wait Stacey hold up." Jax shouts following her.

She turns around seeing Jax again, "Yes?"

"Want to go and get a coffee or something?" He ask

"A sure why not." She said smiling

Jax smiles back and leads the way to the coffee shop. She holds the door as they get there. "What would you like?" He ask as Stacey enters

"Black ice coffee please."

"Ok." Jax orders both if their coffees with one scone.

They both sat at a table drinking their coffees. "So tell me about your old school."

Stacey nods, Well I had one best friend and his name is Ricky. I been at this school for a long time. This is the first time we actually moved. I was the lead of the choir but I didn't sing, I played cello for them."

"You play a cello?" Jax says surprises.

"Yep. I mean that's really all, besides me dating a lot."

"Gotcha, why did you moved in the first place." He ask

"Umm...my parents got divorced, so it's just Jace, our mom and I."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's all good." Stacey said drinking her coffee.

Jax looks at his watch, "I got to go umm, may I walk you home."

Stacey nods as she holds the door for Jax.

"So where do you live?" Jax ask

"Not that far just don't be a stalker sir."

Jax chuckles

As they got closer to Stacey house Jax realizes something, "Oh you live near Brett place."

"Ya."

"Have you tried talking to him." Jax ask

"Yep and got nothing." Stacey said walking up to her house.

Jax nods, "Well see you later." He walks off.

"Wait Jax." She said running after him.

"What?" He stops

Stacey gives him a hug, "Thank you." She goes back home

Brett saw them hugging, "There's no hope now."

Jax smiles as he walk home.
