Chapter 2 : Enlightening the ignorant goddess (2)

*Taking a deep breath ..* (Embra)

"I didn't know that your life is more miserable than me... Thinking of you living your life without anime or manga or LN ...Oh..dear.. I pity you..,my angel.." (Embra)

"How preposterous ! I don't need pity from you! More importantly, I don't want to hear that from you and what nonsense are you spurting till now? " (Keinnayi)

Keinnayi said annoyed and wrinkled her eyebrows while looks at Embra with cold and sharp eyes. Embra feels cold shiver down his back. He hurriedly thinks about how he should calm her down while making her read Manga.

"Clam down, my angel, clam down..first of, can you turn on the electricity in the room back.. We gonna need a clean, well-lighted space, if we are going to talk about a true entertainment.." (Embra)

"Entertainment ...? .. It better be good, Mortal. [Release]" (Keinnayi)

The room went back to normal with just a slight wave of her hand. The lights turn back on again and Embra could hear the sounds of cars at the distance again. He walks back to his sofa to turn back and urge Keinnayi to sit. He take the tea cup and refill it with warm tea and get Keinnayi a cup of warm green tea for herself in a trail. Putting down the trail on the front desk, he walked to nearby bookshelf and pick up a series of books. He put the books down and sat on the opposite side of Keinnayi.

"Now, before you start asking me.. let me ask you a small question.." (Embra)

Sipping the tea, she feels calm down. Keinnayi has already read Embra's minds and see that he is planning to let her read the books. Seeing no harm in that, Keinnayi decided to follow what Embra say for now.

"Hmm..mh Ask away." (Keinnayi)

"Thank you, Angel Keinnayi.. I want to ask, how did you get the idea to create 'The guiding book'? It is alright, not to answer too. I am just curious." (Embra)

"Well, after I woke up from my slumber, I heard the news that Gods from the West talking about it; about an item or intelligent artifact , how it can help a mortal to get strong or how it can do miraculous things with just a command and how it can even benefits us gods. So, I just tried and create it based on what I hear but I still don't understand somethings so, it is incomplete and not perfect yet." (Keinnayi)

Keinnayi answered while remembering about the book. Embra nods in understanding and he search for a book from many books he placed on the desk. Embra handed her a book, a Manga, with the title being in Japanese "Demon Slayer" with beautiful drawing. Before he hands her the Manga, a though occur about how she may not be able to understand the texts but, he let it aside while thinking to himself that almighty angel can do anything, including reading.

"So that's how it is.. well, it never late to start reading a Manga.. Please try this book and read from this column to that column like this " (Embra)

Embra open the first page and teach her how to read while drawing a certain pattern on the page with his finger. Keinnayi put the tea cup down and nods in understanding. She pick up the books and turn it over, to see the cover.

"Hmm.. I have been meaning to ask a while ago but these picture are realistic.. can a human painter draw like this..? " (Keinnayi)

Caressing the book cover she asked Embra who is having a difficult expression because of her question.

'Seriously? Wait. She said she work up from her slumber or something, right? MAybe she slept for a thousand year or something. Ugh. How do you want me to answer your question? Ms. beautiful angel' (Embra's thought)

" .. *cough* I will answer all your questions later, my dear angel. Now please take you time and read it like I had told you.. Oh, and you can get the refill of tea. I have plenty. Or would you like to enjoy some snack?" (Embra)

"Well, if you so, I would like a fruit that go well with the tea... But aren't it getting late? It's almost 9. "

While Embra is offering her best hostility, Keinnayi ask while looking towards the clock. Embra's hands which is preparing Mochi, a Japanese desert, stops at her question.

"Wow. You know to look at a clock?" (Embra)

"Are you making fun of me?" She answered with slightly irritated tone. Seeing see Embra wave his hands and calmly denied, "No. No. Dear angel. Please do forgive this rude one. But by all means, do read the book".

"Hmps.. watch your tone. But, curious .. this book doesn't happen to be a manual to create a system right?"(Keinnayi)

"A what? My beautiful angel, if I really had that you won't even find a trace of me all across universe for I will be traveling.."(Embra)

Embra open his eyes wide at the angel's question and answered her exaggeratedly.

"..? You know you have been saying things I don't understand till now that I am not catching up.. whatever.. So, what is this book about?"(Keinnayi)

"It is called Manga and it is an imagination work of an author with illustrations and .. Well, you will understand it when you read it.."(Embra)

"*Stare* ...*sigh* fine.. So, it start from this square right and go like this?"(Keinnayi)

Tracing her white,slender, beautiful finger across the page she asked him.

"Yes my queen, you can enjoy this great story from here."(Embra)

Gesturing , he showed her the way to read. He prepares soft and hard candies as he thinks that Keinnayi may like it. Keinnayi makes herself comfortable in the big single sofa and starts reading the Manga while occasionally drinking teas and treats that Embra offered.

*Time skip 1 hour later*

"This despicable and coward demon.. turning a human to a demon in the middle of the street as a bait, I must give him a lesson he shall not forget.. " (Keinnayi)

Saying, she get up and prepare to go. Embra immediately get up from his sofa to catch her hand and pull to stop her from killing a imaginary demon. Hurriedly he said,

"Wait wait wait... My dear angel, hold your horse.. he is just the work of an author, an imaginary demon.. it doesn't exist in real world.. or in the past..." (Embra)

Looking back to watch Embra, she takes deep breath and ease her anger.. Closing her eyes to reopen them again and she answered back

"You are right, it is just a character from a book. Sorry, I lost a bit of my cool back there" (Keinnayi)

"No problem my dear angel, I understand your feeling.. I have been in your shoes before." (Embra)

Smiling widely, he released her hands and reassure her. He thought to himself

'No problem.. No problem.. you can lose your cool as many time as you want and I will hold you back.. if holding your hands not do the work, I will hug you to hold you back. No problem my beautiful angel *smiling lewdly*

ANyway, how short can her tempered be. She almost go inside the book when she see Tenjiro's family got killed in the first chapters.. *sigh* Maybe she is still young despite being an angel.' (Embra's thought)

His face is clam and composed outside, reading the manga but inside, Embra is having his own fantasy and having a nosebleed. From time to time, he looks towards his hands remembering the soft sensation when he hold her hands and can't help but thought.. 'Her hands are too soft and it is good to hold too..'

A gentle smile form on Embra's face while reading a book. Keinnayi saw his smile but she do not have the time to ask or read his mind to know why because she is too occupied with reading the Manga and doubting why a demon woman is helping a demon slayer.

*Time skip 1 hour later*

It is almost 11 p.m but the two of them are still reading while drinking tea. They didn't notice that someone is watching them from the corner of the living room. She is a young teen with orange colored hair flowing like a wave down her back with a mature face. She is wearing a flower patterned Valkyrie armor on her chest, guards in arms and legs; similarly decorated with flowery patterns. On her head is a helmet with wings on the sides of the helmet as a decoration. She also have a beautiful saber with rose pattern based guard.

After some times watching the two of them, she decided to come out and ask Keinnayi who is immersed in reading Manga.

"Greetings Lady Dewei, I've waited for you as you ordered but it had been some time. So, I have come to call you (The Valkyrie)

When Embra heard her first time, he startled and look at her strangely while thinking, 'Where did she come from?'. But when he heard Keinnayi answering her, he became relieved.

"Oh. You are here, Sethar. I think I will spend my night here. You can go back and rest" (Keinnayi)

"I object ,Lady Dewei, do you have any idea how worry I am for you. Please come back to the palace. " (Sethar)

Sethar see Keinnayi answer her without looking at her from her book but she didn't get angry. But, when Keinnayi told her to go back she immediately object. Embra is just sitting in the sideline and looking at the boss and subordinate conversation without interrupting as a gentleman he is. He has already accepted the fact that he is dealing with entities he cannot handle. So, he stay out of the harm ways.

"No, Sethar, I am not going back. I still want to know what will happen to this fight between the weakest man and strongest girl. So you go back alone." (Keinnayi)

Hearing her, Embra couldn't help back titled his head to the side.. 'The what and what ? Is that fight in KMY?.. Wait... where is the pile of book I just put on the desk? ' When he search around he notice the evenly piled up books beside Keinnayi and can't help but shocked. She just finished reading 2 series and is reading the third.

'It is only been 2 hours since she start reading.. wait ..The f*uck! How fast can she read..? I am envious.. But wait, didn't she just exclaimed earlier that she is gonna kill Mu*an just an hour ago? Isn't that when she is reading the part where Ten*iro meet Mu*an the first time? Something is missing in here.. her reading speed just an hour ago and now... The f* ??' (Embra's thought)

While, Embra is entangled in his own thoughts, Sethar feels confused and ask

"A fight desuka? " (Sethar)

"Yes You should try reading it too. Come here.. try reading this book. And you read like this way..."

Although she do not get it, Sethar still follow her superior order and go near Keinnayi to try reading the book as Keinnayi instructed.

"Um.., my beautiful angel.. might I ask a .." (Embra)

"Not now.. Don't disturb me.." (Keinnayi)

Hearing her tone, Embra just swallow his questions along with the saliva and continue reading the book in his hand.. He would from time to time refill her tea and get a new one for the young Valkyrie too.. And, before he knows it, it seems Embra has fallen asleep on the couch while reading Manga.

Time flow fast and it become the time when dawn came. The sun goes up and morning sunlight go past the slight opening in the curtains and fill up the room brightly.. Birds are chirping happily and morning sun is fully up. The time is around 6:30 in the morning. Embra weak up from his sleep when the sunlight fall on his face..

'hm.. is it already morning huh.. What a weird dream I had last night.. *Phwaaa..a* " (Embra)

He Get up from the couch he is sleeping and stretch his hands and legs..

" Hmm.. what was I reading before I sleep again because I seemed to have dreamed about a b.beau..tiful.. a.ngel.." (Embra)

When he looks left and right murmuring to himself, he found himself staring at the side of the room, where he found a beautiful knight, a Valkyrie sleeping on a futon. Embra's thinking stops for a moment and his brain stopped working for a short while while looking at the female Valkyrie slepping on the futon while sunlights are falling on her.
