A Battle Well Fought

Plains Biome, OverWorld

Night

The two armies clashed. The Pillagers charged after the blockheads from the Sky World, their Ravagers roaring a loud and scary roar. Evokers and Vindicators began using their evil magic abilities, but stayed far enough away from their enemy. They were also protecting EnderBrine and NetherBrine, and HeroBrine.

The moon was reaching the end of its shift for the night. The skies were beginning to transform from complete blackness to a bright blue. Daytime was approaching. That meant that once the Sun has risen, every zombie that remains engaged in battle will burn until they're dead.

Once that happens, EnderBrines army of evil entities will be severely weakened. Unfortunately, for the other beings, they were immune to the sun's deathly rays of light. But that shouldn't be an issue at all.

Daniel and Petra were the most anxious to end this battle, as was everyone else fighting to save the OverWorld. The Sun was coming up quickly. Amelia's cats were running towards the Creepers, biting the creepers. The Creepers were hissing as they tried to outrun the crazy, not so nice, kitties. Unlike humans, the cats were immune to the creepers sneakiness and exploding abilities.

Daniel was engaged in a fight with a Pillager bearing an iron axe. The Pillager continued to swing his axe at Daniel, but he managed to deflect the deathly swings with his Netherite sword.

Before the armed Pillager could swing his sword again, Daniel swung his sword. He hit the Pillager, knocking the Pillager onto his back. Daniel raised his sword as he stepped over the Pillager, slamming it into the Pillagers chest. The Pillager's body disappeared and dust particles rose into the air. He was dead. Leaving behind an enchanted iron axe, Daniel picked it up and put it in his inventory. Who knows, it could come in handy later.

Daniel didn't hesitate. His next target was close to him. His next target was a spider-jockey. Spider-Jockey's is a skeleton riding a spider.

He began running towards it. He raised his sword into the air high above his head. He swung his sword and delivered the first fatal strike against the spider jockey.

The skeleton turned its head and looked directly into Daniel's eyes. The skeleton was threatened at all. He aimed his bow and arrow at Daniel to shoot him. But before he could do that, Daniel struck it again; delivering his second fatal strike.

As the battle went on down below on the ground, HeroBrine raised his arms into the air. He tilted his head back and began summoning lightning bolts. One by one, lightning bolts began striking the ground. Once they hit the ground, an echoing rumble was heard as far as the ear could hear.

"Someone take HeroBrine down. Watch out for the lightning strikes!" Daniel shouted to his allies. "Don't let them hit you."

As the battle continued, Merlin was running through the Woodlands Forest in a hurry. He had one objective. That objective was to gather enough obsidian to build a nether portal. Time was not on his side.

The battle for the OverWorld would not last forever. Maybe his objective would be easier if he had his magic wand. If he did, he could just summon some obsidian. But that was not the case. He had no wand thanks to EnderBrine.

As he was running, footsteps approached fast from behind him. He stopped running and immediately turned around. It was a witch. She had been chasing after him this entire time. In her hand was a glass bottle with green liquid inside of it. By the looks of it, the potion was poison.

Instead of throwing it at him, like she would normally do, she put the potion away. She summoned what Merlin was seeking to obtain—obsidian.

"You want these don't you?" The witch asked.

"Indeed," Merlin said as he took a few cautious steps forward towards the witch, "wait a second. I know how you work. You give people items they need, but there's a catch involved. What is it?"

"You'll find out," the witch said as she dropped the obsidian blocks onto the ground. She grabbed another potion out and tossed it to the ground, vanishing into thin air. Her evil laugh could be heard echoing throughout the area.

Merlin hesitantly picked up the obsidian blocks, closely examining them to make sure they were actually obsidian and not some ripoff block like cobblestone. Turns out, they were indeed obsidian blocks. Without any further examination, he put the blocks into his inventory and began running back towards the battlefield. Merlin could sense that the battle was nearing its end. He could also sense that the good guys were winning.

"Let's go end this battle once and for all!" Merlin said as he ran back towards the plains biome.

Back on the battlefield, Daniel and Petra had managed to kill almost every Pillager and their angry and vicious Ravagers. The creepers that the cats were chasing after, began fleeing the battlefield in a hurry.

Amelia and Romeo were engaged in combat with two Evokers. They were dodging their spell attacks by diving out of the way to avoid being hit by the snapping teeth that came up from out of the ground. The Evokers weren't easy entities to kill. They sure like to put up a fight.

As for Elederon, he lifted up off of the ground and began flying towards HeroBrine. The constant lightning strikes that HeroBrine was summoning struck down. Elderon easily avoided them by swooshing out of the way. Over and around them.

"I gotcha now HeroBrine!" Elderon said as he opened his mouth. Once he opened his mouth, fire began blasting out towards HeroBrine.

Because HeroBrine was so busy summoning lightning bolt strikes, he didn't see the hot flames coming towards him. The flames struck him, and engulfed him in flames. The lightning strikes abruptly stopped. Once the flames disappeared, HeroBrine could be seen falling towards the ground.

Carlily, who had just finished fighting a zombie, saw that her son was falling from the sky. She immediately went running towards him in a hurry, hoping she could catch him before it's too late.

Even though he had powerful abilities, he was not immortal. He could still get hurt and feel pain. And by the looks of it, Elderon's flames delivered a deadly blow to him.

Just before HeroBrine hit the ground, Carlily dove onto her stomach to catch him. Luckily, she did. He landed right into her arms. He was barely conscious. His entire body was charred. He opened his eyes and looked up at Carlily.

"Momma?" HeroBrine said, "is—is that you?"

Carlily smiled as she shed a tear. She shook her head. "Yes my son. It's me."

"I've missed you so much," HeroBrine said.

"Me too dear," Carlily said, "Me too."

EnderBrine and NetherBrine stopped fighting and looked all around them. They now came to the realization that they weren't going to win this battle. Either way, it was leaning towards the good guys victory. Not theirs.

"HeroBrine!" EnderBrine shouted, "get up!"

HeroBrine, who was still laying on the ground on his back, looked over at EnderBrine. He frowned. He raised his arm into the air.

"HeroBrine!" EnderBrine shouted, "get up—," EnderBrine said as he was struck by a sudden lightning bolt. HeroBrine lowered his arm and rested his head on the ground.

"Shut up!" HeroBrine responded a moment after EnderBrine was struck with lightning. HeroBrine looked up into his mother's eyes and smiled.

"That's much better," he said to Carlily.

Carlily smiled as she continued to sit next to him on the ground.

"Are you okay?" Carlily asked, "are you able to get up and help us win?"

HeroBrine raised his head slightly and looked at his body. Luckily for him, every part of his body still worked. Legs, arms, etc. Nothing seemed to be broken.

"Yeah. Just give me a second would ya?" HeroBrine said.

As for NetherBrine, he was standing out in the wide open. He wasn't surrounded by any of his allied mobs. Daniel and Petra went running up to him, not caring about the downed EnderBrine at all. NetherBrine was their final target to take down.

The zombies, creepers, Pillagers, and all of the other mobs helping EnderBrine and NetherBrine were all dead. The only one that remained out of all of them was NetherBrine.

"Where's Merlin and that portal?" Petra shouted, "we need that portal!"

"He should be back soon! We can handle NetherBrine in the meantime. He needs time!"

As they approached NetherBrine, Elderon came swooshing down from the air. He opened his mouth and scooped up NetherBrine. Elderon had eaten him alive. That simplified things. It was good to have a dragon on their side huh?

"Well then," Petra said, "go Elderon! I guess?"

"Less applauding, more fighting. We still have EnderBrine to fight!" Daniel responded.

They both turned around and saw that EnderBrine was still lying on the ground. He was severely wounded by the lightning bolt that HeroBrine had summoned.

Daniel and Petra ran over to him to see if he was still going to put up a fight. As they did that, Merlin on the other hand, came running onto the battlefield.

He stopped briefly to examine the battlefield. The battle was merely over. HeroBrine was down, NetherBrine was eaten alive, and EnderBrine was struggling to get back up onto his feet. What a quick battle that was.

Merlin somehow knew from the start that this battle wouldn't last long. And the fact that the good guys had a dragon on their side and the bad guys didn't, made a huge difference in the outcome of the battle.

Without saying a word, Merlin immediately began building the Nether Portal. He started with building up five blocks, then over four blocks. He jumped down onto the ground to finish building the portal.

Once he was done building the portal, he pulled out his flint and steel and lit a fire in the Nether Portal. A second after lighting the portal, a purple force field appeared. The portal was now alive and active. Purple particles began floating around the portal.

Now, the final objective in their plan was to be done—banish EnderBrine and HeroBrine to the Nether Realm for all eternity, never to return to the OverWorld. And then, after that has been done, no more evil would exist in the OverWorld. Except for the occasional zombies and skeletons and creepers. Those were easy entities to kill. No worrying shall be done now. The OverWorld, as everyone came to realize, was now safe once more.
