Invitation to Inauguration

When Annette was on the tour to the school compound, Mr Zaho was leisurely enjoying his tea with the Principal of the school. Each and ever arrangement made for student Ning of the class 2.8 was their co work.

Both had the same demeanour when hunting their pray. They loved to bully those they considered weak and here Jiang Ning was a girl who had none to back her up.

" Principal Kim , I wonder what game will you play with the chess pieces on the board to check mate my king." Zaho Feng sipped his tea and moved his last piece to defend.

" Sorry Master Zaho but Check Mate again , and here the game ends." Hahaha it was too easy to crush your pieces , am I correct. Principal Kim raised his eyebrows as asking his opponent the question.

He didn't got the yes or no as reply which he waited for but in its place he said " I hope Principal Kim will take care of the new student as he took care of me in this game. Allow her to see a ray of hope but crush them all when she gets near ."

Once again laughter echoed in the principal's office of the Liberal secondary school. Master Kim was paid double the admission fee just to torment a little girl. He was too happy with the money and yes he also will have fun playing games with that little one.

" No need to worry Mr Zaho , you will probably enjoy watching the game from day one onwards."

While they were dealing with the mutual benefits between the two parties a pune punked in with an envelope which had a shining golden zero with a diagonally downward arrow on it. The symbol was specially eye-catching.

The pune simply bowed before the two , placed the envelope on the table and left. Understanding the need of the time , Zaho Feng took his leave.

Principal Kong opened the envelope breaking the seal. The letter inside stated :

" Principal Kong of Liberal Secondary school is invited to the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarter of ZERODIP at Beijing.

Date and time : 21 st June & 10 am

RSVP : HR secretary, Zerodip

This letter of invitation was unexpected in the principal office but Liberal Secondary School was under the project Liberal education co sponsered by the government and Zerodip which explains the fact why was the invitation send here.

Principal Kong was very excited by the thought of meeting the various personalities at the ceremony. He was on cloud nine , but on the other hand the special arrangements were being made for the welcoming of this special guest.

Lu Ming acted according to the orders made by Miss Annette. He invited Principal Kong with exceptional regards. He gave Annette aa call to inform the successful distribution of the invitation letters.

It was Lu Mings calling her when Annette left her dorm.

Zaho Feng left the principal's office and went to the parking to board his car. The rear view mirror on the left reflected a bicycle. It was the one Jiang Ning used .

He took out the payment receipt which she gave her to transfer the rental fund of the bicycle.

Zaho Feng"....." . Flabbergasted the receipt dropped from his hand.

It was the premium rental bicycle from the Central Mall. Its rent for one hour was hundred dollar and now that it was over three hours it must be more than three hundred dollars.

This was something too expensive for a rental bicycle. He thought if this ignorant girl and then the benefits from her. Hiw could he forget his gold cat. Keepjng his sour face side he transferred the money scanning the code on yhe recipt.

He can do so little, actually wasting Jiang Nings money was easy than wasting their hard earned one.

The moment he left , Annette reached the school gate and the Black BMW came to a halt there. Assistant Ming opened the door and she got in.

Zaho Feng saw her entering the car but ignored it. According to him it must be a confusion , how can that poor brat board a BMW.

Inside the BMW, Lu Mong passed her a bottle of chilled packed water.

"Assistant Ming , investigate this Jiang Ning. Let her name on all the assests change to Annette Jiang. Also check what happened to her years ago to end at the JDH."

Ok madam." Lu Ming had a brief thought before he asked " Miss Jiang Ning's father didn't tell you things about her. Was not his understanding towards you a bit weird."

Annette had a headache hearing those words. She never thought that a family with step-father and a half- sister will wait for her when she will open her eyes. But this Jiang Ning's father never had a dramatic reaction after knowing who she was. Moreover he helped her and never discussed about her previous life.

Also what her father wanted from her she never understood. His last words was a bouncer ball to her mind. And the late father of Jiang Ning he supported her , like he knew who was she , her origin and her transfer to this body.

Altough father Jiang supported her, but when he tried to explain her things he was crushed in a car accident. What the heavens wanted from her , it was complicated.

" Just focus on driving Mr Ming. Time will give you all the answers." Annette replied Lu Ming .

According to her this was the best responce becase she also had many questions in her mind and always time gave her the response to get an answer. She always felt this time showed too much concern for her.

Haa but why would time show that kind of concern for a person. Was not it time controlled people not the vice versa.

Annette returned to her condo and Lu Ming went to the Divisional office of Zerodip at the Yibin. Everything greeted him at the office. He took note of every arrangement made for visit of Miss Annette.

Everyone saw his change in working style but none raised a question , the whole building had its calm today unaware of the coming tomorrow.
