The Multiverse

Cold wind from an unending storm, cold snow fell on the remaining heat in that land, someone was living there on the top of a certain mountain. He liked to be here all the time, where nobody could reach him time ago. However, everything around him was just a projection of his memory. His home has been destroyed, his family was already washed away by the River of Time, his descedants already left him after his death, his legend remained before 'He' deleted his presence from his native world. A fuggitive chased away from his home due to his existence. He lost his name, he lost his body, he lost his existence, he... was alone again...

After some centuries, he became the elder brother of a lively family. He lost too much to keep track of his new family. However, he would smile before his little brother's shenanigans, worried towards his second little brother and touched by his little sister's care to the whole family. He was their spiritual guide while they were his motivation to continue his long, meaningless life. He was still chased, but not like before.

At the moment, he was hiding his youngest brother's existence from 'Them' after a magic ritual made by his little sister, who was having a little quarrel with the other little brother.

While a bunch of snow was falling through his body, he stood up and began to fade away until he disappeared from the peak, leaving this place untouched. It was his turn at Library now.

'Boom!'

A storm-like disaster was raging in this poor room as Tadao was still 'sleeping' in the Nap Pod. Two figures, one male and one female, could be seen as they keep attacking each other like there was no tomorrow.

"Hey, hey! Take this! And this! Keep struggling like the little turtle you are! Eheh, hehehehehhehe!" (Adeline)

"Ahhhhhhhhhh💢!" (David)

Wearing a blu armor that resembled a KG-6 Sleipnir, David was firing countless rocket-propelled metal needles towards Adeline without break as he kept charging towards her. If his opponent was Tadao, this battle would end in a few seconds. However, his older sister was on another level since she had more combat experiences, knowledge, wisdom, capabilities, and energy than him. Right now, Adeline was showing an perverted expression on her face (like the S she is) as she was blocking/canceling every needle aimed towards her with easy. Tiny 3-dimensional magic circles kept popping out on the trajectories of David's needles, vanishing them as they passed through the magic circles.

It's in these moments that David regrets not choosing a Cultivation World as his next world. At least there, he could learn how to counter his sister's magic with a power system that may be far more superior. It wasn't fair for him as magic was an unreasonable power compared to his technology's prowess.

'You'll experience my rage when I'll be able to create a device able to influence your magic, you wrench!' (David)

This poor lamb was sure to be able to beat the shit out of Adeline, but for now, it was still too soon for his vengeance to be accomplished. These two would keep going for God-only-know hours before David shred an imaginary tear and vanishing from the white room.

In a room without light, a spark of white light appeared from nowhere before everything was illuminated by the incoming person. Many holograms were turned on above gray desks in the room and a blue humanoide net-like made face appeared floating in the middle of the room above a wide stage.

"Welcome back, David. How can I help you today?" (???)

"Make a resume of the situation in Multiverse, Adam. I'm taking a break for today." (David)

"Certainly."

[Gathering information...]

David appeared here before he dropped himself on an armchair appeared from nowhere under him. After that, the humanoid face greeted him like usual. It was Adam, a second stage AI he made to be his personal assistant for any kind of tasks.

Unlike the real world, David could make such a place thanks to the unique environment where he was living now. After his departure from his native world, he was separated from his physical body, or at least what remained of his corpse, forcing him to live inside his soul treating like a new house. He, Tadao, Adeline, and the older brother were just fragments of their original soul, and each one represented an aspect of the original self. After an unknown accident, their original self were 'damaged' by someone or something and forced to reincarnate into a new world. In this way, the First Fragment was born.

David was the third reincarnation, or more precisely, the Third Fragment. He was the brain of the family, and it was his idea to identify the Fragments as siblings. Each of them has their unique traits and uniqueness, and trying to make identify themselves like a single entity was too burdensome for that fragmented soul.

So, now David was living inside the original soul to maintain his existence like the other 2 Fragments. Before his birth, everything here was a chaotic mess, worsen than a single teacher's room of a slice life anime (who knows knows). After some years of renovation, David managed to sort everything out, giving his living space a sense of reality and order.

"Surprise me then." (David)

"Another host of Main Character System has been killed by Slayer, an Ancient One is wrecking havoc in the Mystic's Domain, a hint of destiny energy has been detected from Reincarnation Paradise, the candidate companion Kratraus has been successfully reincarnated in a world of the Hunter Domain, the Tree of Imagery has been discorvered by the System World, Lou Yuan managed to kill an Outer God, and the Empire of Xi Ling managed to began the transition to become Gods. Do you need sone details of a particular news?" (Adam)

"Send a message of congratulation to the Empire. They deserve it. And warn me when Kratraus will be discovered by a system. Another talented seed becoming a System host is too much to bear for me." (David)

"As you wish, David." (Adam)

After that, Adam's face stopped moving as David managed to have a moment of peace. The multiverse was a dangerous place with Chaos that limited the range of its disasters. Many reincarnated people were messing around, the war beetween the Wills of Genres and the Systems, frontlines on universe-scale size between interdimensional organizations, and many others.

David and others were one of few special people who liked peace and calm, or at least trying to be so. They had friends and enemies in the multiverse (Adeline's fault), but their existence was hidden to many great entities or deity thanks to their unique circumstances. They managed to slay 2 of those so called Main Character of Fanfics due to unfortunate episodes before they fled to David's world. Maybe after the maturation of the Fifth Fragments they would consider to join a faction or create one on multiverse stage.
