I rolled the windows down…
"Good noon! Miss Ivy…"

"How long have you been living here?"

"How on Earth did you get hurt dear?!? My goodness"
"Anyway… please prepare a meal, and serve it on the garden"
"Yes miss…"my maids answered
"Mr. Mendez please come in…"
I couldn't be in debt to him, he helped me last night and sent me home…
We sat on the garden to have lunch.
"Mr. Mendez…"
"Please… just call me Yuan…"
"Fine… Yuan, I'll be working here at my house until I can get rid of this cast so inform everyone in the office to send their reports to you and you'll be the one bringing them to me… My secretary doesn't know my house…"
"But I thought on the opening of the hotel she came with you?"
"We picked her up at the office you're the first employee in my company to come here…"

I went upstairs to take a rest. I'll be working from here for a month. It'll be very boring…
So, I've been working for several days here at my house it must have been 3 weeks already. Yuan has been sending me the documents I needed from the office, so the people at my house got used to him visiting here. Lady Min seems to have grown fond of him, she even scolded me once because I wasn't being nice to him. Well, she must've forgotten what happened before...
"Miss Ivy, you can slowly start walking using the crutches so your ankle will get used to walking again…"
"Thank you, Doc Vin, tell your wife I'll eat these fruits deliciously…" Doc Vin has been our family doctor and a family friend, he was the one who took care of me when I was in coma.
"I will, anyway I have to go I have rounds to make."

After doctor Vin left, I feel bored. Ahh!!

"Can you bring my bow and arrow to the target range?"
"Shouldn't you be resting?"

I went to the Target range and waited for my things to be brought here…
"Miss Ivy here are the bow and arrows"
"Just put it there" I said to the maid who brought them
I just bought off a black-gold Quest Radical compound bow and some few new Arrows. I have a collection of bows and arrows, I relieve my stress through this, I started 4 years ago and loved the sport.
I also had a target set up.
"Ummm… First arrow…" I muttered as I concentrated on the bull's eye…
Yuan Mendez' POV
"Ah! Good morning Lady Min! You're getting prettier each day!"
"Young man, don't you dare fool this lady with your sweet words… anyway you haven't been here for 4 days… why is that so?"
"Ahhh~ there were no documents that needed to be sent here, so I didn't come."
"So, you have some document with you now?"
"Yeah I do… I need these things to be signed…"
"Young man, it would be better if you visit often even if it's not for work, I'll cook you something to eat every time you'll come here!"
"My boss would be mad if I come here with no reasons, she'll probably kick me out…"
"Ahhh! That child is so cold hearted!"
I chuckled when I heard her say that…
"Anyway, where is Miss Ivy?"
"She's at the shooting range…"
"Is she shooting guns?"
"Ahh! No… archery… It's her past time…"
"I see… I should go then so I could get her to sign these documents…"
"just go straight, after passing the garden you'll see her…"

I still can't get used to how big this whole villa is, yet she's the only one living here…
I found her holding the bow and aiming for the bull's eye, ohhh she has a nice posture, she seems professional. She let go of the string
"Ohhh…" I was surprised that she was so good at it…
She hasn't noticed me yet, so I just kept on watching her from behind, her first shot wasn't just out of luck, she was damn good to be an athlete, the second arrow landed just right next to the spot where her first arrow was, Bull's eye!!
She's going for her 3rd bow, but what is she doing? Oh!! She turned around and pointed the arrow at me… I was shocked…
"M-miss Ivy… It's me…"
"Why were you standing there?" the arrow still pointed at me
"I brought some documents that needs to be signed…"
She put down the arrow and the bow… She was really cool even when the arrow was pointed at me…
She's very pretty with her hair tied
She reached forward her hand asking for the documents, I know she was definitely asking for the documents but my hand seems like it has a mind on its own and reached for her hand… what the hell am I doing?!!
"What the hell are you doing Mr. Mendez!!!??"
Then I snapped out of it…
"Ahhh!! Hahaha! Oh…. I was just feeling your hand if it's wet or not, we can't get these documents wet, we only have one copy."
Shit!! What a lame excuse… what was I thinking?!!!
She glared at me and found a sit so she could read the documents. I stared at her as she went over the papers. I should have been used to seeing her at home but, something's strange today.
It's an awkward silence…
"Are you allowed to do archery and stand for a long time?" I spoke to break the ice
"The pressure is on my arms not on the feet…" waaaah! did she woke up on the wrong side of her bed? her tone is cold as Alaska's weather…
"Ahhh right…"
"Dear!!! Have something to eat while you discuss…"
"Thank you, Lady Min" she gave a huge smile indeed she has a beautiful smile but her eyes are…
"young man…" Lady Min whispered as she went past me

"I saw you earlier…"

Lady Min held my hand and tapped the back of my hand with her free hand, then she smiled slyly…

"The tea is getting cold Lady Min would feel bad about it…"

So, I just sat there while waiting for her to finish reading the papers and give me the signed documents…
"Yuan, here are the signed documents, anyway I need to review the employees' log for this month so bring it to me tomorrow as well as the financial review for this month."

She handed out the folders and accidentally I touched her hand and there was like, a static…
"I should go now Miss…"
"Umm!" she just nodded while her attention is at her phone.
I went back to the office to get the monthly employee's log and the financial review.
"Excuse me, is miss Lee at her office?" a fairly good-looking man asked me. No, he's not just a fair good-looking man, his aura is like a prince that does modeling as a specialty, I'm a guy, I'm straight!! don't get me wrong! I mean, I do admit that I'm good looking but this guy here is way better than me…
"Ummm… she's not around she's working from her home."

The day went by, I'm on my way to the Lotus Villa to give her the documents…
"Will she know?"
I'm talking to my self and thinking over and over who could be the guy from yesterday.
"Lady Min… where is…"
"Goodness!!! I thought you forgot about what I asked you yesterday!! You're late!!!" she came out wearing a peach colored flowing dress which made her really pretty even though she's using her crutches
"What are you doing?!"
Lady min tapped my arm. I didn't notice I was spacing out while looking at her
"She's asking for the documents…"
I handed out 2 envelopes, then she opened it to check.
"Ummm Miss Ivy… There was a guy at the office yesterday…"
"Burglar?! Thief?! What?! let's talk inside it's freaking hot outside…"
We went inside to talk and Lady Min brought some refreshments, she's still hovering at the documents.
"The Lilac weathered sadly yet the purple tulips blossoms beautifully, that's what the guy said" Lady Min stopped pouring the lemonade she made, as well as Ivy stopped reading the papers and stared at me…
"He said you will know who he was when I say this to you."
"Purple Tulips?" she said with a subtle voice
Lady Min looked at Ivy waiting for her to say something…
"Yang is back…" she had a little smile drawn in her face it was a different smile and the emotion on her eyes changed. Her always stern looking face softened…
So, who's Yang?
She stood up from her seat and walked away…
"Did I say something that made her mad Lady Min?"
"She's not mad, she's happy about what she heard."
"Then…"
"She's just going to make a call…"
"Who is she gonna call?"
"Her Purple Tulip, Yang…"
"Yang?"
"Ahhh!! Yang Ivan Zheng the Heir of Golden Dragons company, He was Ivy's Childhood friend, their fathers were best friends that's why they are Yin and Yang… Yin Ivy and Yang Ivan… aren't they cute?" the lady smiled gladly telling me why they were named such.
But something bothered me, I feel weird that Ivy smiled just knowing he's back. I think I feel something that I shouldn't be feeling. I'm not sure…
"Um Lady Min I think I should go now…"
"Yuan!!"
"Yes Miss"
"Drive me to this restaurant…"
"Now?"
"Of course!! Unless you heard me say tomorrow!" woaaah!! Chill ma'am why is she always grumpy towards me??!!?

I Drove her to the restaurant she asked me to drive her. We went inside and told me to wait for her.
I sat on a different table just like she asked.
The wind chimes on the door clanged and the man I talked to yesterday came in with a bouquet of Purple Tulips.
Ivy stood up she had the brightest smile and this time the look in her eyes were… Different… She's genuinely Happy… and I feel kinda bitter that this guy made her smile. Well I can't figure out myself why the hell I feel like this.
Yin Ivy Lee's POV
"Yin!!"
It's been a while since I saw this face… It's like I'm going back to when everything's alright, to when everything's simple and uncomplicated…
"Yang…" I was genuinely happy I've never felt this Happy since dad passed away…
Yang gave me a hug and a lift as he turned me around
"Goodness!! You're so light!! Do you even eat?!"
"Of course, I do!! Look at you!! You're way taller than me now!!"
"I was taller than you even before! Anyway, Purple Tulips" he handed me a bouquet

"Yeah… let's talk about it some other time, anyway I should thank the guy who helped me get my message to you…"

He turned around

I finally got home.

I went back to the main residence with the help of the golf car, the guest house is quite far from the main residence.

After getting ready I went down and saw Yang and Yuan downstairs really silent. They're guys, isn't it easy for guys to find a neutral ground and talk… Yang is not a silent type of person he must be itching to talk.

When it comes to this person, she's really soft, it's a different side of her, it's like she favors this man because he's her favorite person.
"I'll help you go down…" the guy named Yang said…
"Ahh… thanks" oh! look at that smile… she never smiles like that!
"Yin, hold my arm so you won't fall…" this guy really!! It's kinda unfair though! when I was the one calling her Yin, she would be grumpy and probably throw things at me, well not just me but she doesn't allow anyone call her Yin, but this guy's an exception to everything.
"Okay…" ooh!! She just takes his arm. Did she really like me before?! I'm really thinking that she's in love with this guy ever since!
Wait!! Am I jealous? Ha!! Nooooo way I couldn't possibly admire this cold-hearted boss of mine.
"Yuan!!! What are you doing? Lead the way! How would I possibly know where to go…"
"Ahh… this way miss"
"Why in the world are you spacing out!? Are you perhaps hungry?��

"Then concentrate…" aishhh!! I'm a management director but she really treats me like her secretary… tsk… I'm only a temporary secretary!!
The doctor took off the cast and examined her foot to check if it has really recovered.
"Miss Ivy your foot is really doing fine, but I suggest you shouldn't be using heels for a while, around a week…"

"Cinderella your shoes…" Yang held Yin's shoes for her and volunteered that he'll put it on for her. Waaaah! This guy knows his way around and it's kinda annoying.
We went back to the villa because Lady Min was preparing a meal to celebrate Ivy's recovery.
The two sat in the living room and talked, they do enjoy each other's company. I felt I shouldn't be there so I left and went to the kitchen.

"I feel like I should give the two some-time alone…"
"Ahhh… those kids, when they hangout they don't really care about other people…"

"Well they were meant to be married to each other because that's what their fathers want. The both of them were each other's puppy love and they really match each other well. You know how Yin and Yang is known to bring balance to the universe right. Just like those two, they bring harmony wherever they go. They live up to their names, but as they grew apart, I think they just feel like they are real siblings."
"I see" when I heard that they seem just like a sibling there's something that made me smile a certain feeling…

"Yuan I want you to schedule a meeting for tomorrow around 1 pm. All directors from each department should come…"

The day went by and as she said I contacted all the directors from each department to inform them about the meeting tomorrow.
What could be the minutes of the meeting tomorrow she hasn't told me...
"Mr. Mendez…" It's the director from the Production team…

"What is the agenda of the meeting today?"
"ummm Miss Ivy didn't told me yet"
Someone slammed the door It was Miss Ivy… She seems mad… or did she just wake up on the wrong side of her bed… she sat at the end of the table…
"I'll cut the chase, the company lost 2.1 Million during the month I wasn't here…" she became silent and looked at everyone's expression…
"Me being not around the company doesn't mean I'm not checking the revenues…" she clenched her fists
"You all know that I don't tolerate any untoward acts in my company, I give them the highest punishment according to law…" she became silent again.
"Production team director, Mr. Lorenzo… You are fired!!! And I have already filed some case charges against you, face them head on!!"
"Miss Ivy let me explain!!"
"I don't need it!!!" she threw the glass wine on the ground and everyone was shocked… including me…
"It's not only about the money you stole that I pressed charges on you! You were harassing all your female employees. They've told me when I investigated about the missing money."
Then several police came into the room

I noticed that Ivy's finger is bleeding. I took out my handkerchief and held her hand so I could stop the bleeding.

She took the handkerchief to cover her own wound
