Fallen Son of Lu and the Dragon

"OH NOO!!" They took Xi!" the house was on fire. The fumes were far and wide. They were carrying Xi out of the house. The three disciples wore a black lobe. Lu was wearing a black suit. The fire alarm rang and the house turned into ashes. Nothing was left except the garden connected at the back of the house.

Han, Master Q and Feng arrived few minutes after. He was an old man with a long silver beard. He holds a small book and wore a silver silk clothe. His eyes were round and big. It's outshines the rest feature of his body. He was master Q. I was alluded to his loud footsteps. I blubbered. Tears ran down my face. It rained hard as it fell on the ashes. The agony of losing Xi was evident to my energy. I became weak.

"Haeven are you alright?'' Master Q approached me with simmering face. He was maddened and there's an almost wicked look on his face.

"They took Xi. I couldn't save him. Please master Q take the six rings from me. It will be safer if you have them. I save him. I still have time"

"Make up your senses. Lu is a God. He's 10X stronger than any of the guardians even you. Do you think you can really save him? I've seen a lot of lives lost in the hands of Lu. I'm not going to let you end up just like them. I came here to tell you the truth. Xi used you. He was a disciple of Lu. He wants to take the ring of Zhang from you. None of what you thought was real. You've endangered the six rings when you taught him where the six rings are."

"No! He loved me." I sobbed even harder.

"Then explain why he brought you here. This isn't a home. This is the graveyard of heaven. It was all an illusion. Open your eyes. Seek the truth! I've seen this premonition. I know."

"What else did you see?"

"Death"

"But master Q, Xi saved me from Lu many times"

"He was trying to deceive you. You will know the truth in the future but I'm not the one to tell it to you."

The wind blew the ashes from the ground. Graveyard rose from it. I see withered flowers everywhere. It stinks. It wasn't lavender or rose scent. It was a horrible smell. Bones and Skulls were omnipresent and I can step them in every spot. Han and Feng we're standing behind him.

Feng gotten closer and wiped the tears on my face. "Feng Xi told me you were his friend."

"Xi was my friend. He didn't lie about it. You will never understand Haeven. Xi changed after that. He kept on leaving the East. We didn't know where he goes. He just disappear. I've never talked to Xi since last year. We knew there's something wrong with him. He always leave the castle. One of the guardians divulged that he was with Lu on the west but we never clarified if it was true. He was a good guy but you can't trust him Haeven. There are so many secrets around here. We're not capable of knowing all the truth and sometimes lie can be deceiving. Sorry if we didn't warned you about him. Even us couldn't believe he can do this."

Master Q's power caused the land to be repined and go back to its original place. It was a graveyard. It wasn't a Roman classic house I first saw when I came here. The walls was a pile of old wooden sticks piled together using magic. The roof was rotten bodies of dead animals. The house was a petrifying cemetery. It rained blood. The water from the river at the back of the house turned to blood flowing thick to the open water.

"Haeven you infuriated God Hams, ask for forgiveness!"

I kneeled down to where I'm standing. The thunder and lightning crushed the trees and gravestones. Dead wolves came back from the dead and howled loud. It was the same as the trumpets signaling all the heavens for a news or announcement. God Hams separated the land into two. He was furious.

"God Hams forgive me! I was deceived by a man and tricked me into this foul place. I didn't know he was one of Lu's disciples. I was ignorant and foolish. I don't deserve to be the guardian of six rings! You made me strong and powerful than any other guardians but I couldn't do my work right. If death was my punishment I will accept it with my whole heart."

"Oh Mighty God of the East. Forgive this sinful girl! She has no right to be forgiven but it was only one mistake. We both know only Haeven can protect the six rings from Lu." Master Q begged for God Hams for forgiveness.

Han and Feng kneeled before God Hams, "God Hams, you are the savior and the most powerful one. You protected this land from Lu since the four heavens was created. You are the true God. Spare her life oh God! Spare her life only this time! We promise to never let this happen again."

The rain stopped. The sky and river calmed down. The false house disappeared. God Hams came down from the sky and wiped away all the gravestones. "From now this will be a sanctuary of love and beauty. Rose garden will cover the land until Lu and his disciples can never enter this place again!" Hams declared.

He blessed the six rings and struck my heart with a strong lightning.

"That will keep your heart from being weak. Love has no place when it comes to traitors. Xi is now an enemy of this land. If you see him wandering the Verdic castle again, KILL HIM!" he ordered his guardian soldiers including me. Hundreds stood by the sky riding the white winged horses used for battles. God Hams wore a toga. His arms were covered with golden jewelry. He wore the golden crown, a famous gift from God Father. He has the true facet of God.

"Master Q I will leave everything to you. And you heaven if you put the six rings in danger again, you exactly know what will happen to you." God Hams and the guardians vanished.

Master Q was disappointed. The six rings were safe. Xi hasn't fully finished the fasting. He can't move forward to the task asked by the deity. He failed. The tunnel disappeared before my eyes.

"Don't worry about Xi. Wherever he was Lu wouldn't let anything bad happen to him. He's one of Lu's disciples right? If they used you it was probably Xi changed his mind for the last time. You should be aware if he was brought by Lu to the heaven and became one of his disciples, it only means he was a wicked human on earth. He did a terrible thing and he was punished. Lu enjoys saving criminals who don't deserve it. That's why Xi's here. Forget what he told about you. He will put you in danger and the six rings. If you trust him again, God Hams and the entire guardians of the East will kill you. I'm afraid I'm one of them. Be careful guardian!" They sauntered out of the now sanctuary. Han and Feng waved me a goodbye. Xi said told me during God Hams' birthday that there's no one I can trust but him. All along the person he's hinting to be was him. Xi cannot be trusted ever again.

The months passed by. I remained on the care of master Q on the Verdic castle. I still don't have news about Xi.

Winters have passed and summer was gone. I aged except the trauma I had felt like just yesterday. It has been ten years on earth. It was the last time I ever slumbered when Xi and I were together and I thought it was a safe haven place for me. I became stronger now. I've acquired more power as years passed by. God Hams gave me a position in heaven as the guardian general after the previous general died in a battle. My invisibility vanished as time passed by but I'm not as visible as any of them. I'm a light dust walking on the land. They've changed my name. I'm not Haeven anymore. The weak girl who can easily deceived by a man. I've defeated that guardian and it no longer resides on this body that I'm creating for myself. I became stronger and powerful just like any Gods on their younger years until they became a real God who is worshipped and obtained great power as time passed by besides God Hams gave me back my heart. It was locked inside his chamber in a secret box of no one knows where. I'm becoming like them. I am the new General Guardian of the East.

All of my days, I checked around the Verdic castle to see if any Lu's disciple would wander on our heaven again but since the incident they never came back. The heaven located on the East became peaceful and safe. The status in heaven remained in tranquility for a decade.

"General How's the Verdic castle today?" Master Q's voice approached me with a smile. This land wouldn't achieve this success without his help and guidance. He ambled towards where I stand and greeted me.

"It was great Master. So far the guardians are doing their best to prevent any dangers and harm from coming to our heaven. I heard Han was promoted as the new King of sound next to his father" I applauded. My visions are never wrong.

"Yes he was. I think you've known this long enough. Han is too great to not deserve that position. And you our new guardian general is the right one to sit on the chair. You're guarding the six rings. You deserved it!" The sun was bright today and so is Master Q's smile. Todays was filled with positivity like any other day.

"Master can I ask you a question about Xi?" He deviated. His face seemed a pessimist.

"Xi was dead" He bowed his head and put his hand on his chest as to give sympathy.

"Whaat?!" My voice cracked.

"Lu tortured him on his chamber and fed his body to the dragon. I was wrong. He didn't use you at all. He loved you. He protected you. Please read this letter. It was from Xi. God Hams doesn't want me to give it to you but my conscience tells me you need to know the truth. It's been six months since I received this letter."

I immediately opened the letter as my heart was beating out of my chest.

Letter from Xi to Haeven:

To my dearest Haeven,

I love you.

Please forgive me for not telling you the truth. I know you have a lot of questions regarding of what happened years back. It's almost a decade and you never heard from me still. Yes I worked for Lu because it's the only way to become a guardian. So I can enter the heaven. I lived in Italy and I became a murderer of bad people. I didn't lie about my family and how I met you. It's the only way for me to see you. Before I entered this contract of being one of Lu's disciples, I didn't know he wanted to kill you and that he was after you. I was suspicious too Haeven. Please believe me I will never do you any harm. It is the last thing that I'll ever do. I didn't lie about it too. When I told you I was God Zhang's son. It was true Heaven. Master Q knows it, only him. I can trust him. I know you will never believe me but I will not convince you to. I know I played two roles but I'm not a disciple nor I work for anyone. I came here for you, only you.

If you ever read this please know I love you with all my heart. This place is not for me. I will protect you from Lu I promise you that. I promise you that he will never ever be near to you even if I die. This will be the last letter I will send to you. My end is coming Haeven. Don't be sorry for me I will hate it. Please live a life happy and free. That's all I wanted for you. I love you, my only love.

Sincerest,

Xi

Tears rushed down my face.

"You're crying. It's impossible!" Master Q's voice was taken aback.

My knees got weak. I dropped to the ground. My heart is palpitating like it will drop to zero. I sobbed hard that I feel like I will ran out of tears. The rain fell hard on that day and I got wet because I couldn't walk from where I was. It was the worst feeling I ever had. I feel like I was dying. I lose myself. I feel like I will lose my sanity. This isn't real. It was my wish. Let it be not real. It is a hard pill to swallow.

"Haeven don't let the pain consume you. This is not the time to blame yourself or blame others. I know this is hard but you can surpass this situation. I know you loved him. I can feel it and I've known it before. I'm not the one to read your life story or what happened to you but you are not like him. You are a GUARDIAN. Keep that in your mind. You hold a much bigger responsibility that to waste your time on love. There's no eternity or forever in love. You know it was all a lie. He died for a reason and if you hold the light to the truth, it was to save you from Lu" His voice was deep. It could almost break any thoughts you had. And as soon as I realized what he is saying. It's the truth. I met Xi to be saved from Lu and to bring peace to this heaven. I've undergo that phase to bring tranquility to this kingdom. Xi was the real guardian and not me. Xi deserved to be where I'm at not me. He protected not just me but the six rings too.

"I understand where you're coming. But…I couldn't believe he was gone. It crushes me and I don't know if I'll ever recover from this pain" I told him. The agony I feel can never be said in words. It is pain and sorrow and anger for Lu. The world is unfair. It was unfair for Xi.

I realized what if I can bring him back to life. The dead can be brought back to life like on earth if the God would allow it. I'm sure God Hams wouldn't lift a finger to save Xi but his father from the heaven located on North. He is Xi's father and he can help him.

"General-Guardian whatever you're planning it will not work! Don't ever try to do it! YOU WILL ONLY PUT YOURSELF IN TROUBLE IF YOU EVER MINGLE WITH THE BUSINESS OF OTHERS. I'M WARNING YOU!" The fear on his eyes is something that consumes me in a way it doesn't scare me at all as if he's hiding a secret from me and it involves Xi, God Lu and God Zhang.

"I need to go master. I have a lot of things to do at my room. Things I should write for god Hams and reports regarding the castle. Thank you for this letter. I will keep it until I die." I wiped my tears. I walked away and never looked back. I bolted in fear as I was holding the letter. Xi must've written it moments before his death. The question is if Xi was locked down the chamber inside Lu's castle, who sent the letter to the East?

There's a mystery in here. I can feel that theres something wrong. My suspicions can't be false. I was right about Xi the first time but they never listened to me. It was as if fate is telling me I met Xi for a reason. I was inside my room when I was doing my contemplation. I can see Master Q from outside my balcony talking to the guards. His eyes are too convincing for a guardian like me not to believe him. If ever it was real and I admitted that I was deceived by a guardian like Xi, how come I can never deceived by someone like Master Q? What about Han and Feng? He knows more than me. They've been with the master for a long time.

I kept the letter under my drawer and looked for the boys. The Verdic castle was quiet when I left the room. The maids were searching and rounding every room. They're serving guardians their food and being called to clean their place.

The rose bloomed and sparked outside the balcony. Its light remains at night and day.

The other guardians are on the streets playing trumpets but in a moderate volume. It's their form of entertainment to keep the heaven alive. Guardians on the East have white wings and they fly on the street sky when they're not on earth or in a battle. Guardians on the West have black wings, the North has sky blue and the South has gold wings.

I searched for Feng's room. He's the closest to Xi than Han. He can give me better answers.

I knocked on his door twenty times but there's no answer.

"Feng are you here?" I asked.

I put my ears close to the door but I can't hear anything. He's probably studying somewhere else with Han.

I came down to the stairs as what they call the stairs of heaven. I asked all the maids I bumped into if they've seen Feng from room 420 but they all gave me the same answer "I haven't seen him".

I run to the library of the castle. It was the biggest room second to top of the castle where God Hams resides. It holds millions of books written at the beginning of time. I saw Feng and Hang talking on the bench. I walked inside the library to where the boys are sitting.

"Haeven why are you here?' He asked me before I can even say a word

At first I was hesitant to ask him. My thoughts are going against Master Q and God Hams but I had no one to ask about Xi and the other questions that bother me.

"Feng, Han have you find out? Xi is dead. I couldn't believe it at first" My eyes scrutinized the papers Feng was holding and my chest couldn't calm down. It was the same letter Xi gave to me.

"Master Q must've told you then. We've heard the heartbreaking news and we couldn't believe it too. Xi was a good man and Lu killed him" Fend hid the papers and said.

"What are you holding Feng?" I questioned him.

"It's nothing Haeven. We're sorry but we have to go. We have classes we need to attend today. I'm so sorry about Xi. We will send flowers for him. If you want to go with, meet us to the sanctuary" He's dubious as he bowed out. He grabbed his things and left with Han.

I returned to my room.

I jumped into a conclusion that God Hams, Master Q, Han and Feng are hiding a secret from me. They're lying to me about the letter and Xi's death. The letter is not real. It was made by Feng to lure me to believe Xi was dead and stop asking questions from Heaven on the West. There's a possibility that he's still alive. Lu or God Hams has Xi. Thoughts are running inside my head. The key is to find it out myself.

I smelled the letter and the scent was bizarre. I've never seen this kind of paper. It was a rare kind.

I went to the mailing office to find out who sent the letters. It was sent by Xi but they didn't give a location. It was as if they left the letters on the office.

"Hi, I'm the guardian-general. May I ask if where's the exact location this letter come from?" I reached him the letter. He was reading it.

"I'm sorry but there's no location. It was the first time I ever seen this kind of paper. It probably didn't come from this office. I never had one. Theres a personal mailing we call. It doesn't pass through this office. It was a special delivery but not to guardians. It was specific that only Gods or Masters can receive such letters." He scratched his head while reading the letter. So it's real, the letter was not intended for me neither it was from Xi. I didn't receive the original letter from Xi. It was rewritten by someone else.

"Thank you. I probably mistaken it to this office" Every heaven has only one mailing office. It doesn't have to be from other heaven but also letter sent from earth. I took the letter back. The unsent letters occupied most of the space on their office. There are millions of questions and letters need to be answered. I've seen children from Earth still send letters addressed to heaven. Guardian angels took it and piled it there until it grows into mountains left unread.

I'm almost leaving when the old guardian grinned at me and said, "Be careful! Letters can be deceiving but you must never believe it until it was said by the person." He wriggled and continued signing the letters. He warned me about this. He knows about it.

The guardians surged eager to send their letters to the heavens of God Hams' brothers. I left the room as soon their numbers mounted.

I ran back to my room again. This time the maids are gone. The staircase was clean like a transparent glass shining before my very eyes. I can smell the scent of the rose flowing inside. The doors are closed and guardians are outside working. I can see some reading books on the library and studying. I basked in the smell of rose and lavender. It was relaxing and slows down the time. It appears maids have their magic at cleaning the castle. They always leave it pleasing to my senses.

The rose and the letter played inside my head. The day Xi gave me flowers back to the sanctuary when I thought it was his house I knew it was a rose. Lu's disciples are afraid of roses and their scent that's why Gods made them and planted it on every balcony in the Verdic castle to keep it away from Lu's disciple and protect the guardians from them. Xi was not one of Lu's disciples because he was never afraid of it. He was taking care of the roses. Master Q, Feng and Han saw that everything disappeared except the garden. Today it still blooms. Everything was deception except the garden.

I scurried outside the castle to master Q's house.

I knocked on his door.

"MASTER Q PLEASE OPEN!" I bang the door.

I saw him on his front door. My tears began to fall but I must build the courage I've been working for the past years when Xi left. Crying is for the weak. I looked at him fiercely in the eyes. "MASTER TELL ME THE TRUTH, WHO SENT ME THIS LETTER? I know it wasn't from Xi. I saw Feng holds the same letter like this. It was exactly like this. I checked the mail office and they said they never had one. He told me about the special delivery of letters to the Gods and Masters. You're the only master in the heaven located on the East. THE LETTER WAS NOT INTENDED FOR ME BUT FOR YOU UNLESS YOU'VE REWRITTEN THE LETTER AND YOU HAD THE ORIGINAL. AM I RIGHT MASTER?"

He looked at me and looked at the letter and looked at me and looked at the letter again.

"You are right Haeven. You are exactly right. The letter I gave you was an imitation but it will not change anything"

"Cut the chase! Tell me is he alive or is he dead?"

He skulked his hand with the papers he's holding. He tries to hide it from me.

I grabbed it from his hands. I was taken aback by what I saw. The letter Xi sent me and the letter Master Q's holding was the same but the sender isn't. It was a letter not from Xi but from Lu. It smelled fetid and stinks to high heaven. It got a stamp of fire which is the symbol of the West.

"This couldn't be. How did you have this letter?" I asked him.

"The letter has all the answers. I know this is against God Hams but maybe you discovering the letter was the right thing to happen. Take the letter and read it inside your room. Make sure no one can see the letter except you. It has all the answer. Give it back to me tomorrow. I need it tomorrow, you understand me?"

"Yes master! I will leave now!" I hurriedly ran back to my room. I kept the letter inside my body where I hid the six rings. I'm optimistic to find a chance that Xi was still alive.

Back in my room I opened the letter as I stumbled to the chair. The handwritten of god Lu was hard to read. It's a kind of cursive written and laid like a thin line.

To Master Q of East,

I can't help but laugh about it Master Q. How foolish of you. You're aware of the guardian of six rings and that she fell in love with my son. Do you think I will not find out the truth? As much as I want to have the six rings and rule all the heavens, my son is being led by my enemies. That is your guardian Master. Be careful of what you preach or I can take your life like your brother. I sent him back to earth and he came back here. You let my son live with you! Now he thinks I'm the enemy. How did that whore lured my son into believing she's better than me? Don't worry I turned him back into the animal he was once. You've seen how I turned him into a dragon when you tried to save your deceased brother. My son and the dragon everyone feared is just one creature. That is my secret. Cat got your tongue? If you tell anyone about my secret I will kill him, you and the guardian. Since you kept this monster, it never behaved like it was before. I will give him the taste of his own medicine and that is because of you! You brainwashed my son and now the revenge is mine.

I have a little request to you master. Pardon me but it's not of a big deal compared to those times I took your brother's life because you failed to give me what I want. Tell that guardian of yours to bring the six rings to my heaven in exchange of his one true love. Don't worry I will welcome her like you welcome my son. I hate waiting master. If she wants to see him alive, BRING THE SIX RINGS TO ME!

Sincerely,

Lu

I was agitated of what I found out. Xi's the dragon of Lu and his son are just the same. It was frightening and almost inconceivable. The hindering of Lu to send this letter is something I couldn't process. The time it took to kill him was too long before he decides to use him to get the six rings and make Xi as his bait. The letter rendered a flame and it was on fire. It vanished in my hands and turned into ashes.

The history of the dragon dreaded the heavens. It was controlled by Lu and the dragon does whatever he wishes. It took so many lives from the battles and it killed the enemies of Lu. Story says the dragon escaped from his hands and it hunts and feeds itself with more guardians. Its power is equal to the might of Lu. He killed master Q's brother, father of Han, and thousands of guardians. He lived the longest than any of the guardians in all heavens. And he was the son of Lu, the man from Italy whom I thought the son of God of North. God Zhang told me the fallen son of Lu. He warned me before about the dragon. He never took it seriously and in my thought was a mere hearsay by Gods to frighten the guardians and keep them away from the heaven on the West. The story is not a tale. The dragon is real and it was Lu's son.

Now I understand the truth. I was enlightened of what it is all about. I was right at a lot of things.

Lu will kill him if he doesn't get the six rings just like what happened to the rest. The injustice death of thousands of guardians and their fate will happen again to his son. Xi is not the dragon. It was Lu who made it out of him to make Xi appear evil like he was. Xi was in trouble and he's alive.

I will save him and I will save the six rings. I will defeat Lu and I will kill him.
