Amy reminded herself of that moment an hour later when she stood, hidden beside the house, breathlessly watching Aiden face down all three of them—first Chase and the guy whose name she could never remember who was a Shine spy, and then, later, Kate as well.

\When her sister appeared out of nowhere, Amy had a moment that took her back a year. Her heart leapt and she almost cried out to her. But she snapped her mouth shut and reminded herself that Kate was a selfish traitor.
