A normal day at school (2)

This morning, Ben prepared to go to school with a big shoe box, It contained his art project. He also brought everything he needed to finish his house today. Ben wanted to finally submit this time-eater, he would finish it till 4 pm and give it his art teacher without attracting any attention.

As he took his last train, he sat next to Amadeus and two other classmates.

"Good morning, guys!"

Amadeus & 2 others: „Good morning, Ben!"

Amadeus: „Is your art project in this shoebox?" Ben answered with an affirmative nod. „Can I see It?"

Other: „I am also quite curious about your house."

Ben knew that this would have happened, answered: „Sorry guys, but you will have to wait till our art teacher graded it."

Other: „You are no fun, can't you just show it to us?"

Other2: „It's not like your house will be the best, just let us see it!"

Amadeus: „If Ben doesn't want to show it, then we will have to wait till tomorrow. I am curious about who will have the best house."

Other2: „I am sure either Eren or Victoria has the best house. On the one hand, Victoria is simply too diligent and talented. On the other hand, Eren will probably ask his friends or have the help of expensive machines."

Amadeus: "I hope Victoria will win. If Eren won, then it will prove that the school system is unjust. Ben, who do you think will have a better house."

Ben: "No idea, I think everything is possible!"

´The last time, it was Eren, who had the best house. Victoria had the second-best house. It was logical, her objective is to have a good score in every subject, so she only made it in the art lesson and these last days at home, so that it doesn't impact the time of other subjects.

Even though Eren had the best house, he only had the best of the basic house. I mean his house isn't as creative as mine, so it is very likely that my house is graded better as his. The art teacher didn't think that Eren cheated because he had good grades everywhere, but I could change that by commenting on his house while the teacher is near me.

Do I really want to be on the bad side of Eren? I mean he is a f*cking arrogant asshole. If the prig begins to hate me, then he will constantly cause trouble. Even If somebody just embarrasses him a little, then Eren will repay him a hundredfold. Then again, Eren will hate me the moment I take his first place in any subject and I already planned to do my best for each subject.

Yeah, I decided. I am no more a weakling, I will humiliate him and destroy him the moment he annoys me. He can't do a thing to me! I can protect myself and use the evidence to bring him in jail if I have to.´

The first lesson was in Chemistry. As he was listening, Ben couldn't help but be bored. He already read through the experiment of sulfur and copper. Skills are just to op, he could explain the experiment himself. Ben was waiting to ask a complex question about the experiment. Book knowledge didn't explain everything, so he wanted to use the opportunity to learn more. The other reason is that complex question, show the teacher how interested and knowledgeable somebody is in the lesson, so it was perfect to increase his oral mark in Chemistry.

After having finished the explanation, the chemistry teacher saw Ben's hand stretched vertical.

CT: "Yes, Ben, what didn't you understand?"

Ben asked sure-footed: "If all of the excess sulfur was not burned off when the copper sulfide was weighed, would the calculated percentage of copper in the copper sulfide be greater or less than the actual percentage?"

CT: "This can be easily answered,…"

Ben: "Thanks, I understand. Another uncertainty of me, is that when the cooper and sulfur are heated together in the crucible what happens to the excess sulfur?"

CT: "What do you think happens?"

Ben answered uncertainly: "The excess sulfur probably vaporizes in the process and it escapes from the crucible."

CT: "Right! The sulfur vaporizes to form gaseous sulfur and escapes. We will watch a video about the reaction."

Everyone was confused: ´What did just happen.´

Ben was never good in Chemistry and he was a little timid, so he rarely asked questions, but now he just asked questions that only the best in chemistry would have asked. Some became very jealous of Ben, but a classmate, who was bad in chemistry became soo jealous of Ben that he loudly asked: "Teacher, why is Sulphur called the enemy of copper?"

CT: "Firstly, I want you to stretch your arm if you have a question. Secondly, if you had listened to my lesson, you wouldn't have asked that question. Can somebody please explain it to him."

CT saw Ben stretching his hand again and choose him: "Yes, Ben."

Ben: "Sulphur attacks copper to form black spots of Copper Sulphide and hence is known as ´enemy of copper. As Copper sulphide is not truly conductive, it can be troublesome as it has to be recycled."

CT: "Perfect answer. Now please open the chemistry book on page 327."

Everyone took their tablet and opened the document on the page. In these days everyone had at least a phone, a tablet, and a computer in their possession.

After finishing the lesson, the first to leave the room was Ben. They now had a 30 min-break, so he wanted to continue with his art project. He went to the secretariat and asked for the keys of a study-room.

30 min later, Ben was sitting in the room, where they had math. The lesson was also mostly boring, first they talked about the homework. Secondly, the math teacher taught us a new chapter, and then we did exercises until the end.

As Ben heard the bell, which indicated that it was time to eat lunch, Ben was on the way to the study room. He was stopped by his friends, which asked him where he went.

Ben: "I want to finish my art project, so I won't eat with you. I bought a sandwich from home, so I will be fine."

With that answer, his friends left him and ate at the canteen. Ben couldn't finish his house, so he planned to stay after their music lesson.

The music lesson was for Ben the lesson, where he ameliorated the final grade the least. He was a lot better in the exam, but 60% of the final grade is decided by the oral grade, which was directly linked with your singing or if you played an instrument. Ben tried to sheer himself up that he would shock the art teacher in the next hours.

After the lesson, it was only 15:45 and art teacher often had classes till 17:15. Ben used that time to put the finishing touches to his house.

At 17:15, Ben was waiting before the art room. Just then a class went out, Ben walked to his art teacher and said respectfully:

"Mister Bennet, I want to submit my house today. Would it be ok?"

AT: "Are you sure? You still have until tomorrow afternoon."

Ben while answering opened the shoe box and took carefully the house out of it.

"Yes, I am. I don't have any idea how I could improve it."

When the art teacher inspected the house, he became shocked. Each second he found another perfect aspect of the house.

The house was very difficult and large. As M. Bennet looked through the window, he was again shocked, the inside of the house was made in exquisite detail. Many minimalistic things were present in the house like a carpet or lamps. To achieve something like this you had to plan everything down to the last detail. Locking through other windows, he found other creative things like a swimming pool, a car, and lego-men made from wood.

Even the garden was very detailed with trees, fences, and a stream.

This was clearly the best house made of matches that he ever saw.

AT went back to his serious expression and said:

"This is a good house, but I have to ask you if you made it alone and without the help of a machine?"

Ben was innerly sneering.

´You accuse me of cheating, but you won't suspect Eren? Good that I have already readied my mind.´

"M. Bennet, how can you ask such a question? I wouldn't invest my money for just an art project. I liked this project a lot because it was a very creative project so I build it in my free time. If you really can't believe me, then ask me about the inside of the house or how I did build this house."

"Then let me ask you, which detail took most of the time?"

"Probably the car, as it was difficult miniaturizing."

"Perfect, so you want to put it in the art room till tomorrow."

"Yes. If it is fine, then I would now go home."

Finally, Ben went home. He took the train without any friends so he could focus on reading a Physics book. Other students looked at him strangely, who in their right mind would read such a book with a happy and interested face.

Arriving home at 18:10, Ben used the time to stretch and then improved Landing properly, the Two-Handed Vault, and the Precision Jump. This was the basic moves of tracers, so he had to reach perfection in these moves to go to the next moves.

At 8 pm, Ben had dinner with his family, today they ate later as his parents did a walking before dinner.

After dinner, Ben continued to train until 10 pm, afterward he read other science books and finally falling asleep.
