The muffling sound of the storm can still be heard outside the prison walls. On a night like this, it can be soothing to hear such sound. Though it can feel different for someone who is locked up within these walls.
Flashes of light can be seen, as it shines through the small rectangle windows near the ceiling; just then, the claps of thunder is heard cracking through the sky.
Through a few hallways, entering the entrance of the cell passage. Where heat never reaches, the cold overstays its welcome for the prisoners that use to reside within the cells.
Only three individuals are left in the passage of cells: Alecia, Aven, and Raine.
Alecia, Aven, and Raine, are surrounded by blue flaming auras, with Raine having a saphire hue, with flaming wings on her back.
Just then, Alecia launches herself with a loud shout, her sights zoning in on Raine, as she gets closer. She collides with her once more, followed by a huge shockwave, only for the two of them to fade out into a blur.
With all that she has, Alecia attacks Raine with a fury of punches and kicks, all of them being blocked. Rage coursing through her vein, all she could think is to bring her down. After everything that has happened in the past, she is fed up with people accusing her, fed up with people blaming her, and fed up with others trying to kill her.
"Alecia, calm down!" Aven calls out to her.
"Being mad won't help anyone!"
His words fell on deaf ears, Alecia still continues to fight, throwing hard punches on Raine, however, every one of them, she blocks.
"That's enough!" Raine shouts out, and throws a hard punch to her face, sending her flying back. Raine flies after her within a small moment, and with joined hands, she slams her to metal floor, causing her to bounce off, only for Raine to appear in a blur, slamming her on the floor again, causing Alecia to gasp as the air gets knocked from her lungs.
Grabbing her uncle, she swings Alecia, and smashes her through the wall, and slams her on the metal floor once more, causing her have a nulified scream as the glow from her pupils flicker.
Raine starts punching her, stopping her scream in the process. She continues for a moment, only to stop, and picks her up by her hair with one hand, causing Alecia to scream once more, only for her to gasp as Raine's fist collides with her gut.
Raine arches her hand back, with her eyes narrowing in resentment. Just then, a blinding light emits from Alecia's body, causing Raine to drop her, and starts shielding her eyes.
The glow subsides from Alecia's body, only for transparent blue flames to be surging around her body once more. Her enemy now blinded, she arches her hand back, and throws a punch, only for it to miss. Just then, a voilet fist connects with her face, forcing her to fall on her back. She stands herself up, and gets in a defensive stance.
With Raine still covering her eyes, she goes into a stance as well.
"You may have blinded me then," Raine said, slowly moving her hand away, and opens her eyes to look at Alecia.
"You forget, that I can still sense you."
Alecia narrows her eyes, still slightly panting. Cuts, as well as a few bruises are visible on her face.
"Fine." She simply said.
"Raine," Aven said, urging her to shift her gaze to his direction.
"Let's see you fight against two of us at the same time." He moves into a stance, and blue flames surges around his body.
Raine narrows her eyes, her pupils ignite into saphire, flames surge out from her, surrounding her body, with a strong gust of wind flowing out from her presence.
"As you wish," she simply said.
Both Aven, and Alecia launches after her, and starts throwing punches. Within a moment, she leans down, and swings her leg round, tripping them both, and hooks her ankle around Alecia's side, only for her to slam her against Aven, forcing them to tumble along the floor.
Raising her hand, blue flames slither along Raine's arm to her hand, condensing itself into a sphere in front of her palm. She launches it towards her two enemies.
Within a moment, Alecia raises her hand, forming an energy barrier, only for it to smash from the explosion, forcing the both of them to repel back, causing them to smash into a wall.
Within the cloud of dust, Aven stands himself up, holding Alecia's hand, and along her back, he lifts her on her feet.
"Are you alright?" He asked, letting her go, noticing her heavy breathing.
Almost every bone in her body feels as if they've been crushed.
"I-I don't know," she said, her blank gaze drawn to the floor.
Aven's face softens, and lets out a sigh.
"Don't push yourself, alright?"
After a moment, she nods slightly, and slowly looks up at him, leaving a slight smile.
Lowering her arm, Raine steps towards them, watching as the cloud of dust seep out from the large hole in the wall. Just then, Aven sprouts forth, his arm arched back. Within a moment in time, Raine tumbles over him, and watches as he slowly looks over his shoulder at her. Performing a spin, Raine raises her knee, and lands a hard kick to Aven's back, causing him to scream with a loud echo, only for him to slam against the floor, and tumbles along it.
Raine walks towards him, watching as he struggles to push himself up. She stands over Aven, staring down at him with a stern look in her eyes.
"Imagine how your sister will feel," she said, narrowing her eyes.
"Coming here, finding you dead on the floor."
"She will come for you," he said, pain oozing from his words.
"You don't want know what she's like when she's angry. Especially if she has revenge on her mind." He starts chuckling, looking over his shoulder at her.
"Oh?" Raine said, tilting her head.
"At least she'll know where I'm coming from." She steps around him, and kicks him in the gut, causing him to collapse on the floor.
She raises her hand, with her index finger pointing at him, the finger tip begining to glow, only for her to shoot an energy spike through his shoulder, causing him to scream, urging him to cover the wound. She shoots another spike at the same place, piercing a gaping hole through his hand, and into his shoulder, causing another scream from him.
Her lips twist in disgust, aiming at his head, she grits her teeth with a scowling look in her eyes. Just then, Aven leaps up, and swings a kick to her head, causing her to tumble, and crash into the wall.
Holding his wound while gritting his teeth, blue flames emits from his hand, and after a moment, saphire flames burn along the edges of the wound, only for it to close up. He lowers his hand, and turns to Raine, watching her standing herself up.
Raine's eyes narow, her fingers move in a rythem individually. Her eyes locked on Aven. Saphire flames starts flowing around her body once more, small flickering lights are seen along her hand. Just then, a bright light appears from the hole in the wall, urging Raine, and Aven to look, only to see Alecia with her body surrounded in bright blue flames, with her pupils outshining it.
With a loud scream, the flames surge violently around her body.
"Let's end this, Raine!" She shouted out and launches herself towards Raine, her hair being blown back as she accelerates. She throws more punches, connecting with Raine's face. Only for her to block them, and throws a few strong punches to Alecia's torso, and face, only kick her, forcing her to slide back.
Aven launches towards Raine, only for to backhand him, causing him to smash against the one wall.
Alecia stands still, panting; her lungs feel as if they inhaled steam. Her eyes locked on Raine, beeds of sweat forming along her forehead. Liftting her foot, the other fails to move, causing her to collapse. Slowly bringing herself up, she lets out an unexpected cough only for her to uncontrollably cough out more until a large spatter of blood falls to the cold metal floor. Leaning her hand on one of her knees, she stand up straight.
"Not doing too good are you, Alecia?" Raine said, showing false pity.
"Shut up," Alecia said, through her teeth.
Just then, she sees Raine in front of her. Only for her to land a hard punch, causing Alecia to step back unsteadily, and stop. She looks at Raine, gritting her teeth, her eyelids begining to glisten. Alecia's hair begin to flow up, transparent blue flames begin to emit from her body, her eye pupils starting to glow.
Alecia raises her hand, flames slither along her arm, and codences into a sphere. She launches it, only for Raine to do a quickstep around it with ease. Within a quick moment, she gently holds Alecia's arm, spinning around to her rear, she taps her fingers along Alecia's back, as well her upper arms, and chest.
Raine leaps back, and stares at her as the sphere smashes into a wall.
"What was that?" Alecia asked, with a narrowed gaze, only to look along herself to see glowing beeds of light.
"What is th-" the needs of light explodes along her body, engulfing her in a black cloud of smoke, and fire.
From the cloud of smoke, Alecia sprouts out, leaving her flying, and tumbling to the floor, landing face down with a trail of blood following underneath as she slides along the floor. Her eyes closed, flesh wounds exposed on her arms, and back.
Just then, Aven calls out her name. He flies to her aid. His eyes, filled with a shock of disbelief on his face. Standing over Alecia, staring down at her, his eyes slowly widen.
"A-Alecia?" After a moment, still no response. His eyes shift to the growing pool of scarlet liquid seeping out from under her. His legs give way, causing him to fall to his knees, with the blood begining to soak into fabric of his pants.
"No, not again." He mutters under his breath, his eyelids starting to glisten. He moves Alecia over on her back. Seeing the exposed flesh on her chest, which only makes his blood run cold. With the blood still sleeping out, the scent of it begin to fill his nostrils. His bottom lip starts to tremble, only for his eyes to shift to her face.
"That's one down," Raine's voice is heard.
"Three to go."
"Now you now what it's like," Raine narrows her eyes with a stern expression on her face.
"To lose those you love... Doesn't feel good, does it?"
Hearing those words, a tear streams along his cheeks, and falls from his chin, and onto one of her wounds.
"I'm... So sorry, Alecia," he said, his voice trembling under his breath.
With his finger, he moves strands of her white hair around her ear. Placing his hand over the top of her chest, his eyes closed. Transparent blue flames emit from his body, and spreads across his arm, and over her whole body. The wounds start closing, still leaving the stains of her blood.
The wounds close. Aven opens his eyes, and looks at her, and waits. After a moment of waiting, still, her eyes do not open.
"Alecia, please," he said, shaking her slightly.
"You must open your eyes now. You can't die by simple wounds like this. Remember how you survived on Earth!?" Still, no response, her skin now pale, her lips starting to turn violet.
"Alecia..." He utters, with more tears steaming down his cheeks. His breaths begin to tremble, only for him to wrap his arms around her, with her head buried in his chest. Soft cries can be heard, as it is muffled through Alecia's white hair.
"I'll let you grieve like I did," Raine said, standing a few feet behind him.
"Then I'll put you out of your misery."
Shutting his eyes, he let's out a blood curdling scream of her name, his loud voice echoeing throughout the prison, flashes of lightning flicker through the narrow windows.
After a moment Aven stops. He stares down at her pale body, having trembling breaths. From his body, transparent blue flames begin to emit from him. He opens his eyes, the glow from his pupils shine bright, he gently placed her on the floor, and stands up.
Slowly he turns to face Raine, with a resentful glare, hatred burning within his eyes.
"She didn't want to be here in the first place," he said, gritting his teeth as a tear streams down his cheek.
"It's my fault." He closes his hands into fists.
"If I didn't teach her this." He looks at his hand, as the saphire flames swirls around it.
"She would have a normal life," he mutters, closing his hand, and his eyes.
Bringing his mind back years ago, before he invaded earth, before everything.
The day is clear, the sky is cool, and so is the wind that flows around the tall grass, creating ripples, with the sound of chirping of wildlife, the scent of the small white flowers fills the air.
Standing calm, and collected on a hilltop, Aven's gaze locked ahead. In the distance, a small town is seen. Small ships, can be seen hovering just above ground near the buildings, with people walking to and fro.
"S-surpise!" A young woman's voice is heard, causing his body to jolt up, urging him to look over his shoulder to see a young black haired woman, dressed in casual clothing, of a green top, and black pants, and a thick white bracelet around her one wrist.
"Gave you a fright didn't I?" she said, laughing out, tightening her ponytail.
"You shouldn't do that." He said, narrowing his eyes.
"You're late."
"I'm sorry," she said, stepping through the grass to meet him.
"The day is still young," she stands still, and stares up at him.
"What is your name again?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Ummm, it's Alecia?" She said, leaning back, crossing her arms, and raises an eyebrow.
"How could you forget already?"
"Well, Alecia," he said, emphasizing her name.
"Have you been practicing?" He asked, crossing his arms
She widens her eyes, and averts them.
"No, Aven," she emphasizes his name as well.
"I get distracted."
"Look who's forgetful now." He said, chuckling.
"Excuse me!?" She said, tilting her head at him.
"I at least remember names."
"Nevermind that," Aven said, shaking his head, and uncrosses his arms, only to raise his hand.
"If you would actually pay attention, you could do this." Be holds his hand out to her for a moment, causing her to be unease.
"Umm, anyone can do that." She said, looking up at him. Just then, a blue transparent flame emerges from his hand, causing Alecia to jolt up.
"Woah..." She said, leaning forward, as her eyes capture Its light.
"This whole time, I thought Kevra, and Silas, were talking nonsense," she continued.
"Can it burn?" She asked, moving her hand slowly toward it, her fingertips now inches away from it. No heat can be felt, leaving her in complete awe.
"It isn't hot, it's not like fire," he explained, with an urge, she moves her hand over it, as the gentle flames curles around her fingers
"This is what I'm trying to teach you." He closes his hand.
Alecia lowers her hand, and looks at him.
"How did you learn to do it?" She asked.
"A lot of time, and a lot of work," he said, smiling slightly, only for his smile to fade.
"But, that's not important."
She chuckles.
"It reminds me of when I was just a girl," she said.
"I went to a place I was not so suppose to. I found a statue of Angelica. When I touched it, strange white fire came from it."
She looks at the large tree beside them.
"Hmm, probably a hallucination." she said, looking at him.
"Not even my sister knows a about it. I got into a lot of trouble when someone found me."
Aven smiles slightly. "I see great things from you in your future," his words urges Alecia to give a cheerful smile.
"What are Kevra, and Silas doing?" He asked her.
"Oh, they went out for the day, doing their own thing probably," she answered.
"Not sure where though."
"Anyway." Aven said, changing the topic at hand.
"Now that you believe I can do it for real, will you take my lessons seriously?" He asked, frowning at her.
"Yes, Aven, of course I will." She said, her tone sounding more serious.
"Good," he said, forming a slight smile.
"Let's begin."
Blue flames begin to emit from his body, his pupils starting to glow. The day starting to darken, and before him, Alecia's whole body starts to flake away, as if a gust of wind blows her blows her aside. Now standing within the broad passage of cells, where Alecia stood, Raine is in view.
"I hope you're happy now," he said, frowning at her, clinching his fists.
"It was simply justice," Raine said, a calm tone in her voice.
"Revenge for my family, and friends, and the countless people of my world."
"Revenge won't bring them back!" He said, snarling at her, his eyes starts glistening once more.
"You think I don't know that?" Raine said, frowning.
"I'm here to repay all the pain that you caused me! I will make you pay and the other two who are responsible,"
"If it means that much to you, then come and get it," he said, and moves into a stance, as the saphire flames around him surge violently, the floor beneath them start vibrating.
"Let's put an end to this!" He shouts, and launches himself towards her, and collides, erupting a huge shockwave, followed by a strong gust of wind, causing Alecia's body to slide slightly along the smooth metal floor.
Shockwaves continue to erupt throughout the large passage. All appearing randomly around the passage of cells. Blurry silhouettes are seen throughout the area, with saphire streaks of light traveling in all directions..
Alecia seems peacefull near the battle of Aven, and Raine. Her eyes gently closed, her skin pale, and her purple lips, as
Within a moment of the body, robbed of het life, one would say, her mind is still awake, still alive, with only moments left. Through her peaceful closed eyes, through the blackness of her irises. Somewhere, she is still there.
Souring through a glowing-blue tunnel, which seem to stretch endlessly. Through its swirling corners, and into the abyss, her conscious is waiting; waiting for existence to cease.
Blue eyes flicker open, strands of black hair brush over them.
"Am I.." She simply mutters under her breath, her eyes flicker, and looks around at the black void before her.
"Back here again?" She starts walking through the endless void before her.
She starts jogging, sounds of splashing water can be heard with each step she takes. After awhile, she stops, now catching her breath.
"Aven!" She calls out, lowering her hands from her mouth, the sound of her voice travels out into the distance until it muffles out. After a while of calling his name, there is no one to answer her, no company.
Alecia looks around herself, her head wanting to explode as she tries to recall anything that happened before. She moves her gaze to the strands of her hair. "Black?" She said, holding a few strands within her fingers. It doesn't matter, she needs to get out of this void.
In the distance, the void itself begins to produce color, a turquoise hue. Slowly it starts spreading all around the pitchblack sky above her, until it reaches the other end.
"Hello, Alecia," a familiar sound of a woman's voice is heard from behind her. Turning around, she sees her once again, Eva.
"Nice for you to pay me another visit." Her lips twist into a smile.
