The Fourth Date

Days passed and Dae-Hyun and Ah-Yeong began to go on dates. It was their fourth date today and they decided to do some grocery shopping.

Since, Sang Hoon had told her that he won't be back for a week, Ah-Yeong took this as an opportunity to live in Dae Hyun's house for a week. She tightly held his arm and walked alongside with him while he chose all the necessary items and placed it in the trolley.

As they reached the payment counter, Ah-Yeong heard someone call her name.

She turned to her side to see and widened her eyes when she saw her mother standing in front of her.

"Mom? You... here?" This store was very far from her own home so, there was no way for her to see her mother here. But she was very much shocked to see her mother here.

Her mom looked at the person whom she was hugging and asked furiously "Who is this?"

Ah-Yeong let go of Dae-Hyun's arm and stuttered. "That... that..."

"I am her boyfriend." As if Dae-Hyun had gotten a wonderful opportunity, he immediately answered. He smirked when he saw Ah-Yeong's mother's reaction. Ah-Yeong looked up at Dae-Hyun with an unexpected look on her face and then at her mother.

"Boyfriend? What nonsense? How can you keep a boyfriend when you are married, Ah-Yeong?" Her mother shook her by her shoulder and asked loudly. She began to yell at her when Ah-Yeong instructed her mother to stop.

Now that, the thing was out in front of her mother, Ah-Yeong decided that it was better to say it all.

She held Dae-Hyun's hand and answered "He is not only my boyfriend, Mom... He is my everything!" She looked at Dae-Hyun with a smile and felt a tight slap on her face.

*PA*

Witnessing such a shameless act coming from a daughter whom she always thought was obedient couldn't help but make her feel ashamed of her daughter's doings. And not being able to bear any of it, she slapped Ah-Yeong.

Dae-Hyun was finding difficult to control the smile which was coming on his face whereas, Ah-Yeong was baffled by her mother's slap. "Mom?" She touched the cheek where her mother slapped and looked at her baffled.

"Why?" She asked her mother with red-teary eyes. The hand which used to caress her hair and pat her back was used to slap her. Ah-Yeong couldn't believe that her mother would slap her just because she told that Dae-Hyun was her everything.

Even Ah-Yeong's mother was taken aback by the slap but that didn't calm her down. She clenched her hands tightly into a fist and sighed. "It is better that you leave him." Her mother slowly whispered in a hopeless tone.

But that was enough for Ah-Yeong. She held Dae-Hyun's arm tightly and said with bloodshot eyes "If you think that I will leave this guy, then you are thinking it wrong, Mom. I will never leave him but I wish to leave my husband soon."

Feeling her cheek still resonating with pain, Ah-Yeong sneered. She wiped the tears which were escaping her eyes and said "Now I know how much you love me, Mom! Drive safely back home. I am going." With that, she walked out of the store leaving her mother behind.

As she was walking till her parked car, the tears which she was holding escaped from her eyes and fell onto the ground. She quickly wiped them and stood near the car waiting for Dae-Hyun to come.

When she saw Dae-Hyun coming over, she ran over to him and hugged him. "What took you so long?" She eventually started crying in his arms.

Kang Dae-Hyun drove the car to his home. Upon seeing her condition, he was happy from the inside. Well, this was what he had always wanted. He wanted to see her cry and be hurt. And things were just going really well.

He was disgusted by her but he had to keep her close to him for his revenge. And now she was sticking him like a koala and he was finally able to put her to sleep on his bed.

After putting her to sleep, he walked out of his room and called his girlfriend who was upset over the fact that he had gone out with Ah-Yeong and not with her.

And to please Eun-Jin, Dae-Hyun left Ah-Yeong all alone at home.

In the morning, when Ah-Yeong woke up, she noticed the other side of the bed, empty. She was a little upset over this fact but she decided not to be upset over such meaningless things... She wasn't a child anymore.

She quickly took a bath and changed into one of her casual clothes. Thankfully, she had bought a few clothes with her.

She walked out of her room and was surprised to see the wonderful delicacies placed on the table.

"You are awake?" Dae-Hyun muttered as he felt hands encircling his waist.

"Hmm!" Ah-Yeong gave a nod and rested her head on his back.

How much she wanted her life to be like this.... Ah-Yeong was very pleased and glad that she was witnessing such an amazing life.

Her life with Sang Hoon was very boring. And her life with Dae-Hyun was the life she just wanted. She loved this man and she was glad that she was back with this man.

"You got a few calls from your husband and also from your mother..." He pointed at the phone kept at the dining table and Ah-Yeong walked over.

Seeing the long list of missed calls from her mother and her husband, she sighed. She thought that her mother had already told Sang Hoon, maybe that was why he was calling her. Keeping the phone aside, Ah-Yeong shrugged her shoulders and sat down on the dining table.

And her eyes fell on the various dishes kept on the table which made her mouth water. 'Fried fish, dumplings, vegetable soup, rice and orange juice... Seriously, what does my boyfriend not know to cook?' She asked herself as she gulped.

"Let's eat!" As she began to dig in the fish with her chopsticks, Dae-Hyun stopped her. She looked at him questioningly and he replied "I have a special friend coming over. Let's wait." He smirked.

"Special friend? Who?"
