He discreetly uses his peripheral vision to look at Echidna

In doing so, he notices that although she was still following him

She was avoiding looking at him as much as possible

And the few times she did, the only emotion present on her face, is anger

'Tsk! If I only knew, it would affect her that way. I wouldn't have admitted anything and instead I would just played dumb'

In Icarus opinion, this whole punishment thing was nothing more than an excuse that Echidna try to used, to get back at him, for all the times he tricked her
