A New Echidna

Seeing dozens of monstrous birds as big as small aircraft quickly approaching his position. Icarus immediately gets the feeling that he has unwittingly ended up poking a wasp nest

"Holy crap! Why do all monsters in this world have to live in groups? None of them know the meaning of the word solitude?"

Icarus' anger is justifiable, during his stay in this world, he lost count of the number of times he decided to attack and hunt a reasonably strong monster that was alone. Only to found out that the monster wasn't really alone, being forced to flee after being attacked from all sides by the monster's pack mates

This strong companionship present in monsters of the same species is something that makes Icarus angry and quite confused
