Reincarnation

Okashi slowly opened his eyes. He felt slightly tired and cold, which was strange for him. "Why am I cold, it was just warm outside," Okashi thought, until he widened his eyes, realizing his surroundings had completely changed.

Okashi was now in a dark space. Looking around, he realized that this place was completely black, with no sort of light in the area. "How the hell did I get here? I was just confessing to Soya. Wait a minute, Soya," Okashi slowly widened his eyes in shock and confusion. "Why the hell did she stab me?! She said yes to my confession, and I never did anything to hurt her! W-Why did she do it?" Okashi's eyes had tears forming in them. He did everything he could to make himself a better man for her. His feelings for her grew to such a point he would do anything for her, so he was heartbroken by her betrayal.

"Allow me to answer your questions young man," said a feminine voice behind Okashi. He quickly turned around to find out what it was, suprised to see a face that was very familiar to him. A incredibly beautiful girl with blue eyes and long blue hair with a calm face was in front of him. She wore a blue vest with a lighter shade of blue bow. She also had a short blue skirt and stockings that were a little higher than her knees as well as thigh high boots.

"A-Aqua! How the hell is an anime character here?!" Okashi yelled in confusion. His mind has had to process a lot of things recently, and adding a suddenly real anime character did not help things. "I see you are confused, let me explain it to you," Aqua said. "I am not the Aqua you're thinking about, I am the goddess of death and reincarnation in your world. My job is to send good souls to worlds they want with a little bit of help, while I send evil souls to worlds with a disadvantage. I usually take the form of something close to the good people I reincarnate to help them feel more comfortable. As for why that terrible daughter of mine killed you-" Okashi quickly interrupted the rest of her sentence to tell her, "Wait a minute, did you just say daughter?! Soya told me that her mother left at a young age, and last time I checked, she was human to me!"

Seeing his confusion, the goddess told him, "While I understand you are confused, Soya is indeed my daughter. While she was originally a divine being, due to her causing trouble in the celestial realm she was sent to Earth as a punishment, where she became even worse. She tricked men into loving her by posing as a innocent girl in trouble, only to kill them when they confess their love to her. Apparently, you were her latest victim."

Hearing those words from the goddess everything started to fall into place for Okashi. Soya lured him into a false sense of security so that she could hurt him at his happiest monent. He thought he would be filled with rage or broken by sadness. But instead, he felt something different. He wasn't angry or depressed, he was concerned. He had a family and friends who really cared about him back in his world, and were worried how they would take his death. "If you are worried about your loved ones back home, don't worry, they were sad at first, but then used your death as motivation to become better people. They are all currently living happy and fulfilling lives right now, with one of your friends even naming his son after you," the goddess says with a warm smile.

Hearing this, Okashi showed a happy smile before asking, "So, what happens now? Do I get reincarnated?" "Yes, I will be reincarnating you in a world of your choice, along with 5 wishs. I usually just give 2 or 3, but since you fell in love with Soya pretty hard, and it must have hurt very badly to be betrayed by her, I'll give you some extra," the goddess replied. Okashi had to think for a bit, the world he reincarnates in and the wishes he would have in that world would be pretty important, and would set the course for his new life.

After thinking for a few minutes, Okashi replied, "I've decided to reincarnate in Highschool DXD. My wishes are to have the body of Kazuma from Konosuba as well as all his abilities. I want to have explosion magic, and I want to have a system, you can choose what kind." The Goddess processed what he said, and after a while she answered him with, "These wishes are acceptable, however, I have two conditions. You will gain your system when you get to the canon timeline of DXD, and since explosion magic might be too powerful for you, I'll seal that until you have the necessary mana to not faint after using it. Now, what is your last wish young man." Okashi replied with a small blush, "Having to stay here all alone with the only people you interact with eventually leaving must be pretty lonely right? So for my last wish, I want to be able to visit you whenever I want." The goddess, suprised by his decision, replied, "Are you sure, you could use the last wish to get even more powerful, to increase your survivability in the world you're going to." Okashi said, "Yes, I'm sure."

The Goddess let out a beautiful smile and thought, "This boy is the first to ask to stay with me. Soya, my dear, you should have kept this one, I'll have to punish you when your earth body dies." The goddess let out a soft chuckle and said, "Alright, I accept these wishes, I hope you have a nice time in your new world." A magic circle appeared under Okashi, who started floating into the air. Right before he disappeared, he heard the goddess say, "Oh right, I gave you a little gift in your new world, have a good time!" He then disappeared in a bright light.
