Chapter 2: Every Day Life
50 years ago mysterious portal pop out of nowhere at the middle street in a certain big city. People near the portal felt dizzy and faint at the spot. This weird phenomenon quickly spread to the entire city, then nearby city, small city, village, and so on until the entire world got infected by this strange phenomenon.
A few days later a lot of people awake early than the other and found out their physical and mentality have been enhanced. After that incident people started to continue their life, the government afraid of having repeated phenomenon again thus every city send out their scientist to do some research about the portal.
They discovered not only their country that have the portal. But, every country have the portal at random places.
Some of researcher try to brace themselves to explore the portal. Only to found out the place is like a maze, monsters lurking in every corner, the researcher find it dangerous so they didn't continue their journey any deeper. After they went out to the government and reported it. The government found it dangerous for his citizen.
Thus the government send military force to eliminate the monster. What surprise them when they fire the monsters with assault rifle. They can't kill the monster heck their firearms only scratch a bit of the monsters skin. Panic started to raise within the soldier, the monsters who saw this opening started to attack the soldier.
The soldier watch their teammate being devoured, ripen apart by the monsters. Luckily some of the soldier that still survive the attack from the monsters have special ability. But, they didn't know how to use it.
One of the soldier try to survive that slaughter use desperate measure, he throw grenade and ~BOOOM~.
The soldier realized the explosion more powerful than the normal he used to. He started to walk a bit further away, and tried again to throw the grenade at the place he stand just now. And what happened after that the explosion more powerful than before. He felt odd to what happen with the grenade.
After he look the monsters that he killed just now had dropped crystal that has faint glow inside the crystal.
He tried to check his teammate condition, what he found only himself stand on the ground. He collect his teammate name tag and some crystal the monster dropped. And started to find a the he went in just now.
After the incident happened with the military soldier The researcher found out 60% of humanity have special ability. And the crystal that the monster dropped is their core, the core filled with energy which they called "mana" can be used as energy that exchange electricity, upgrade their special ability, etc.
After the soul gather information about this world, more or less the situation in this world almost the same with her pervious world before crossover to this world.

50 years has passed after so many error and experiment the researcher found out the difference between monster core and human special ability. Thus they make rank for special ability and monster core from the weakest "F" rank to the way "S" rank. Rumored said that some ability, item and the monster core Had been discovered the rank "SS" even if the rumor true it's been very rare.
On a certain school building there was a young boy sitting in the class alone.
The young boy has black hair. The body figure form can be said neither too muscular not too skinny, the height is about 170cm. This young boy looks is a bit better than ordinary people, just a bit.

Gyzux started walking out from the school building. He walked along the alley to the place he called home.
Gyzux started to arrange things in his house and packed up some weapon and self-made special weapon, he stuffed it to his bag and started to go out from his home, he walked about 20 minutes before arrived at one massive and tall building.
He went in to the building without hesitation, The building is called "guild" where every person wanted to take mission and sell their monster core, they do it in here inside this building.
For The people who went to dungeon to make living they are called Dungeon Exploler in short "Geonex".
Inside the building were crowded by veteran geonex and amateur geonex.
At receptionist counter, one can see a line full of people waiting for their turn. Gyzux started to walk to receptionist counter and waiting for his turn. Some geonex stared Gyzux with pity, contempt, and ridicule eyes. Despite being stared like that by other geonex, Gyzux don't care at all.
After all he is infamous geonex that got stuck at F rank for one and half year. Usually normal geonex will get rank up in half year to one full year from F rank to E rank.
The real challenge will started for geonex from E rank to S rank. The esteemed time for E rank geonex to ranked up to D rank, they need at least two to 4 years.
Heck even in this city the highest rank is only at C rank. S rank geonex only can be found at Top city in this country.
Gyzux the one that have special ability but, not have any combat ability. Why do you think he still risk his life to go to dungeon make living. Despite having special ability that can make more money.
Gyzux of course ever think about it. It's all because he failed to protect his family and now his sister coma in hospital.
He felt useless and powerless at that incident 2 years ago. Thus he decided to make money from dungeon to pay his sister's hospital bill.
And get some combat experience in the dungeon to make himself more useful if that incident ever happen again in the future.
Not long after that it's his turn.
"Oh hello, Gyzux. You want to find a party for today dungeon trip as usual, yes?" said the receptionist to Gyzux.
"Pylia, I didn't know today is your turn and yes, collect Monsters core mission as usual" Replied Gyzux to the receptionist.
As you know the receptionist name is Pylia, before she become receptionist she was experienced Geonex that ever step into C rank world but, after reached bottleneck at level 4 in C rank.
She retired and become receptionist until now.
She has brown hair that reached her upper back, right now she wear the guild receptionist uniform. She also has a delicate figure. In other word she quiet beautiful.
"Your party has 1 D rank, 3 E rank, and 1 F rank that is you. The party were waiting outside the guild building. I need to remind you please be careful on your way to the dungeon, many accident happen lately inside the dungeon. Better be safe than sorry, anyway if you felt anything odd just get out of the dungeon we just have one life afterall." Pylia said with serious face.
I smiled at her and said
"I will keep that in mind" while nodding my head.
