Chapter 4: Encounter

The sound of metal collided each other can be heard Inside the big door. Two silhouette are fighting with each other. One of the silhouette belong to young boy name Gyzux. While the other silhouette is 2 times bigger body and have large hand belong to the monster called boss.

From the situation we can see the young boy at disadvantage situation, his left arm had been broken by the other big silhouette.

The boss leisurely swing his nail like playing with an ant while the young boy being pushed back bit by bit. Despite being pushed back bit by bit the young boy has a trace of small smile at his face that shown no fear.

Above this two silhouette that are fighting each other near the ceiling. One can see a woman figure floating at the air. All of this scene were being witnessed by the woman. Which we usually called the soul.

The woman figure also didn't know why she can't took her eyes off the young boy. When she saw the young boy successfully avoided and paired with the boss attack. Despite being at disadvantage situation the young boy smiled. Strangely the boy smiled at the moment looks stunning in the soul eyes. His broken left arm are swinging in a strange arc caught the soul attention.

~THUMP, THUMP, THUUMP~

Her heart pounding faster every second when she is looking at the young boy miserable figure. The soul didn't realize her heart ache at that moment. What she knew at that moment, she can't take off her sight of that miserable figure struggling to survive.

~CLANGG~

The sound of steel collided with each other continue.

'Uggh..' that last strike really make my arm go numb. In the corner of my eyes I felt pressure and tried dodge to the right from whatever attacked the boss launch at me. Gyzux looked up and saw the place he stand before. The ground had been destroyed by the boss attack.

'Shit if I didn't dodge that attack just now, wouldn't I become a meat paste that replace the destroyed ground' after realizing the boss didn't even used it's full power when parried with his dagger. Gyzux greeted his teeth after realized the fact that his winning against this monsters nearly 0 no it can be said already reach 0.

The boss lift its hand upward while all the surrounding air around the room. Being flowed to the boss hand and the air around the boss started to form a ball shape on its hand.

One can feel high pressure at the ball shape that still being formed on the boss hand, including Gyzux. Not long after that, The boss aimed the wind ball on his hand to Gyzux. And then, The ball flew toward Gyzux place.

If that moment people are watching, they can saw Gyzux 'Wait a minute I'm not ready for that' expression on his face.

Before his instinct of survival told him to run away from the wind ball. Gyzux body moved on its own and run far away. However, before he could looked back.

~BOOOM~

Loud explosion sound can be heard. Gyzux body flew away because of the impact made by the explosion.

He can't stop his body from keep rolling and before he knew it his back hit one of the wall in the room with heavy ~THUD~ sound. Gyzux vomit a mouthful of blood to the ground Before all the pain from his back intensified.

The dizziness and pain all assault his body. He almost let go the one and only weapon in his grip. It's like we saw a fish on the land struggling while there is a cat not far from the fish waiting the moment to eat the fish.

Is this the end for me Gyzux thought. No I'm not willing to die in this place, isolated room, no one know how I'm die.

No he can't die yet not in this place. There's still someone at the hospital waiting. How can he left his sister alone when the moment she woke up from the coma only been greeted by his brother dead news.

He need to get out alive from this place and find medicine to wake up his sister.

Unwilling to die, unwilling to die, he will fight until all of his bone being crushed. The word 'Unwilling to die' keep repeating in his mind. He stood up and gripped his dagger tightly.

Unfortunately for him, despite all that will to live. Gyzux used up all of his power just for a single step from the spot. His body started betrayed his thought and fell to the ground motionless.

The boss stared at Gyzux with a playful smile while one of his hand started to swing down at Gyzux spot.

'Sh*t, move move move, please move my body or we will die together in this place' said to Gyzux himself.

Luckily for him, it seems like the body heard his thought and rolled to the left, avoiding the boss full swing. However, Gyzux left leg had been broken by the swing.

'AA-AAUUGH!!'

Gyzux almost lost conscious Because of the pain that hit him all at once. Gyzux current state right now is really bad. His Left arm and leg had been made broken by the boss attack, his back full of red liquid that flowed to the ground create a small pool.

Seeing the boss wanted to swing his arm again to motionless Gyzux. At that moment he see flashback of his life from children, junior high school, about gorlood incident 2 years ago.

"So the flashback scene felt like this ~SIGH~. I'm sorry I can't keep my promise with mother, don't worry. I'm coming to see you soon father, mother. It seems that I will go first, my sister." Tears started to flowed out from my eyes even though I close my eyes. I brace myself for the impact "make it a painless one, will' ya"

~BAAAM!!!~

After the hitting sound decrease. I don't feel any pain and it seems like I don't die either. I slowly opened my eyes bit by bit when I felt strangely safe for this moment. Suddenly, familiar voice that told me not to give up being spoken in front of me.

"Hey, are you still alive?" said the voice.

I slowly lifted my head to look at the voice source. There stood a woman figure with semi -transparent body. Her long hair flutter to her back. When I look more closely, I can see the boss arm had been stopped by transparent purple barrier.

"So, you are still alive good then. Now do you want to survive from this situation" she said to me.

'What is she talking about of course i want to survive from this situation'

I'm unwilling to die in this place. I desire power, I wanted to be stronger. Before I could decide what to answer, my mouth answered by its own.

"I-I want to survive and get stronger" left my mouth.

The woman smiled after heard my answer. She started to kneel down with one leg and opened her mouth said.

"Let's make a contract"
