Drake took a glance at Katherine and saw that she was still smiling like she didn't just tell a big fat lie.

100 HD-ECs is equivalent to 200 LD-ECs. Just this alone put Katherine in the top 700 richest students in the academy, and that is saying a lot because there were thousands of people in the academy.
