DISTRACTION

Gathered in a parlor adorned with rugs of different shades of green, simple wooden chairs, sofas, and tables, with an exquisite fireplace, Alex and Nana sat on a sofa, waiting for Camilla to speak before they made their decisions on what to do next.

"I know that the decision I made in the Elders Hall might have been stupid, however, I think I was given a way out." Camilla started as she sat opposite Nana and Alex. A cheerful smile appeared on her face as she looked at the two of them.

"First of all, I have to express my appreciation to the two of you for coming here with me… you don't know how much it means to me." Camilla started.

"Just get to the good part," Alex muttered.

['Touchy much?'] Al commented, feeling cringed by her appreciation.

Nana remained silent, trying to figure out what Camilla was considering as a way out that she seemed to assume that she was given.
