THE MESSENGER OF DEATH

Lex slowly and carefully made his way out of the alley.

Since he didn't know where the Brigadier Generals were situated in the city and was still on guard against the Looming Shadow, he naturally chose to be extra careful.

After walking around for a bit and no alarms had been raised, he split his attention and noticed that most of the architectural structures of the city had been destroyed, probably from the shockwaves that came from the bombardment of attacks from Primordial Bloodline bearers.

While some of the buildings looked as though they were systematically demolished as if their parts had been removed rather than destroyed.

['Huh, that's strange, were the people of Nord in the process of reconstructing some parts of the city before the Dark Beings arrived here?'] Al uttered, a bit perplexed by this.
