THE MESSENGER OF DEATH

A few minutes after Nana retracted her Spiritual Sense, Lex teleported back into the city, into the same alley that he first appeared in.

The reason he waited a few minutes before entering the city again was to confirm if Nana was coming for him or if she was still watching him. After confirming that she wasn't paying attention to him anymore, Lex left.

It was better this way. In case she decides to look for him, she'll take her time searching the forest first or perhaps send him a message asking him where he is.

Back in the alley, Lex went through the same procedure, checking if the Looming Shadow could sense him this time, because he had teleported in and out now, he wanted to confirm if the Looming Shadow was able to pick up on this.
